Record sales aside, Troy actually nice wit it. NYC should hold him down. Instead they clowning the boy, and listening to mumbling fools who ain’t got no message at all.
I think where he stumped his foot was when he went on radio outlets disrespecting his fellow contemporaries, calling them weirdos and such without just cause. It turned people against him. No one likes an unnecessarily disrespectful person.
Thats 100% true. He does speak about things that I felt where totally inaccurate & disrespectful, on the other hand I can understand where he was coming from. I myself have been like yo this new kendrick joint suck, but then keep replaying that shit & subconsciously start getting his verses/hooks stuck in my head n shit. Troy likes to portray himself as a real person, and when asked a question about another artist he just spoke the truth about his thoughts on Kendrick or any other artist at the moment. But thats just the way I look at it.
