Kanye West Calls Out Wiz Khalifa

DAMN!

Looks like Kanye has no more respect for Wiz. Hours after he called out Ye for naming his album WAVES, Mr. West responded with a Twitter diatribe of his own.

Oh niggas must think I’m not petty cause I’m the best that’s ever made music. Like, oh that’s Ye and I can put his wife’s initials on my twitter Wizkhalifa. Bro first of all you stole your whole shit from Cudi. Second, your first single was corny as fuck and most there after. work hard play hard. You have distracted from my creative process.

I screen grabbed those pants and sent it to my style team #Wizwearscoolpants.

3rd no one I know has ever listened to one of your albums all the way through.

4th you let a stripper trap you.

5th I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years.

6th don’t ever come out the side of your neck at me.

7th I am your OG and I will be respected as such.

8th I made it so we could wear tight jeans.

9th me and Cudi created this shit.

10th don’t you ever in your fucking life speak sideways about a nigga that’s fighting for us I do this for all of us. 11th I showed you respect as a man when I met you. 12th You wouldn’t have a child if it wasn’t for me.

13th You own waves???? I own your child!!!!

14th Nigga it’s called creativity #youshouldtryitsomeday.

15th Nigga I tried to call you and you changed your number. 16th don’t even hint at mentioning me my family or my wife I am your OG.

17th I think you dress cool I wish I was skinny and tall. maybe I couldn’t be skinny and tall but I’ll settle for being the greatest artist of all time as a consolation. Don’t ever ever ever come out the side of your mutherfucking neck bro or bruh or however you say it Mr. Waves.

I’m YE and I ain’t gotta say it the right way I’m Ye I’m Ye I’m Ye I’m Ye I’m Ye I’m Ye I’m Ye. Thank you for the extra promotion #WAVES available February 11th.

What’s sad is I love Wiz and I love all all my brothers and all people. I love the world bottom line and all I want is peace and positive energy. This album is actually a Gospel album. Good energy positive energy.

Ima take these down cause it’s all about positive energy blessings blessings positive energy blessings. The Devil can’t stop us. In the lab with Ian Connor by the way

  2. K.I. says:

On one hand, that’s a Chicago nigga for you to bring up that man’s seed. On the other, Wiz got the right to wanna stomp Ye’s ass out on sight for saying it. This shit took a whole different turn.

  3. Nathaniel says:

i think this is the first time kanye has publicly checked a rap nigga in his career.

    well deserved.

  5. hotzauce22 says:

Kanye gonna end up selling ton of records, no doubt… But he obviously still bitter over Amber and him talking all this shit is so weak and disrespectful…Coming from a nigga that wears skirts and blouses too smh… I hope Wiz smacks the shit outta him

    1. jay says:

smacks the shit outta him with what? lyrics? them skinny ass arms? please, just give that nigga an ounce of the kush and bag of Cheetos and he wont remember what he was even fuckin mad at.

      1. hotzauce22 says:

Might be right… but Kanye a bitch for talkin about his kids like that… When the only reason we know his hoe ass wife is because Ray J of all people made a sex tape with her stanky ass… By his logic, Ray J owes child support for North and Saint (which are also the two dumbest names for kids that will end up needing years of therapy)

  6. Nathaniel says:

also, present day hip hop doesn’t even exist without kanye. present day pop culture doesn’t either. that nigga’s influence is in everybody. entire lanes have been created for niggas to eat off of on his work. take it or leave it, that’s OG to the whole crop of post-kanye rappers. wiz stepped way out of pocket rallying against ye’s album under the guise of defending max b.

    fuckouttahere.

    1. thedeamkid19 says:

      – kanye west

    2. marty mcfly says:

You know how many other rappers it is besides Kanye? So to say Hip Hop wouldn’t exist as if Jayz and many others still wouldn’t be around is ridiculous. You know pop culture was already here before Kanye right. Kanye is great at being really famous and thats fine but there would still be Kendrick Lamar, Drake, 2 Chainz, Ross, Pusha, Game, Pharrell etc… and a bunch of other people regardless of Kanye. He said his album will be the best album is life? Thats great but since thats the case it needs to better then Tetsuo & Youth… Good luck with that.

Lastly clearly Ye is still emotional hurt over Amber. Kim probably aint got them stripper moves in the bed…

      1. Nathaniel says:

there wouldn’t be a tetsuo & youth without a touch the sky.

        1. marty mcfly says:

I think there would be. Lupe had alot of music out underground a record deal and a relationship with Jayz already so he was coming regardless imo. Besides him, there was a whole Hip Hop culture already in existence before Kanye with plenty of other artists.

          1. Nathaniel says:

            that’s a mathematical impossibility.

          2. marty mcfly says:

What is? Kanye probably met Lupe through Jayz because the reason Lupe was courting record labels is because they knew Jay was interested in Lupe. Atlantic ended up getting Lupe because Jay vouched for him.

          3. Nathaniel says:

since you understand the principle i elucidated in my initial post, you understand “what is” a mathematical impossibility, too. great. two birds with one stone.

          4. marty mcfly says:

No I don’t understand what your saying. Whats “mathematically” impossible about what we’re talking about?

I’d say Kanye’s production wouldn’t be here if he didn’t show up in Hip Hop but there would still be Q-Tip, Hi-Tek, J Dilla and others… Maybe the obsession with high fashion wouldn’t be at the level it is but even before Kanye it was present in Hip Hop. So again I get what your saying but I think present day Hip Hop would still be the way it is or a very close resemblance to what it is now with or without Kanye. No diss to him.

          5. marty mcfly says:

I always skip Hell Of a Life, Blame Game, and Lost In the World.

          6. Harlem's Finest says:

Blame game? Wtf that’s one of the best songs on there and I can understand skipping hell of a life, but his second verse on that is one of the best on the album

          7. marty mcfly says:

I skip it every time. Im just not on it like that.

          8. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

            Blame Game?! chill.

          9. marty mcfly says:

            Yeah Blame Game. Skip

          10. ShockWave says:

            you crazy

          11. marty mcfly says:

I can see why people like the song. I heard and was like cool, its got the funny shit about Amber and everything but Its not like the shit was Power or something. Not everybody likes the same shit just cause you do. Skip

          12. ShockWave says:

Blame Game is one of the best Kanye track EVER

          13. Starlion says:

            u have no clue then

          14. marty mcfly says:

No clue about what? I gotta like something just cause you do? Gtfoh. I like about 85% of MBDTF and because I skip Blame Game you people feel some kinda way. Smh

          15. Just sayin says:

Blame Game skip??? NIGGA u crazy!!!

          16. marty mcfly says:

Ok well imo whats crazy is me skipping a song, and you taking that as crazy? Lol. You people worship Kanye.

          17. Toy-T says:

Lupe would have become Lupe all alone……GOAT

        2. marty mcfly says:

There wouldn’t be a Kanye without Jayz.

          1. Nathaniel says:

            exactly. same principle.

      2. t&y was super dope. on another note i dont think kanye will ever Top Graduation.

        1. marty mcfly says:

Graduation? He aint ever gonna top Late Registration.

          1. Dashing28 says:

Graduation had “Drunk and Hot Girls”

Late Registration, the bars weren’t all the way there. “Auntie team”

MBDTF, bars sharper than ever. No skippables. Production on point. Every feature brought their A-game (Cyhi, Pusha, Nicki, Ross, Jay) Classic.

          2. marty mcfly says:

So one song makes Graduation better? I think Late Registration was a better album and that includes the bars.

I thought Late Registration was a better album as well. I get why people think MBDTF was classic cause it sounded like Kanye trying to make a Michael Jackson level type of album as far as being the most loudest most ambitious, fairy dust sprinkled album he could make but I think ultimately L.R was a better album.

          3. Harlem's Finest says:

I’m with ole boy on this one! MBDTF is a masterpiece to me. Don’t get me wrong late is fucking amazing but for one I don’t like long albums and he had some cuts on there like, gone, on my way home, gold digger, drive slow and addiction on there which are songs I do not like.

          4. marty mcfly says:

Yeah everybody says MBDTF is a masterpiece but I never felt like it was. Before I call any album of his a masterpiece I’m gonna look at College Dropout before MBDTF but the songs you didn’t like on L.R like Gone, Drive Slow and Addiction? I thought were dope songs. Not to mention Touch The Sky, Crack Music, Roses, We Major, Hey Mama and the song I’d have to pick over anything on MBDTF…. DIAMONDS FROM SIERRA LEONE. This song right here is on some whole other type shit that I think is Kanye at his pinnacle as an artist. Gone

          5. Harlem's Finest says:

Naw I think songs like gorgeous which is even more deeper than crack music is Ye at his best! Then u have power which is another deep song. So appalled is amazing. Not to mention all the good Friday songs that came out. Like chain heavy and Christian Dior flow. MBDTF was hands down his best rollout to any album. How he promoted it along with all the new music just makes it my favorite Ye era. I do like late tho, I like all his albums honestly

          6. marty mcfly says:

Gorgeous may be deeper but imo Crack Music sounds better. Picking out songs and saying their deep doesn’t make the album better imo. The Good Friday songs weren’t on MBDTF so having good promotion doesn’t make it a better album then Late Registration imo.

          7. Kris Kompute says:

            You don’t like “gone”?!?!?!?

The fuckin production on there is amazing. That breakdown with the strings. Man…stop it!

          8. Dashing28 says:

Drunk and Hot Girls may be Kanye’s worst song ever. It’s unlistenable. Classic albums don’t have unlistenable tracks.

“Big Brother” is a good song, but not one I’ve felt compelled to listen to it all since the initial months of that album’s release. Ditto with “Homecoming”

“Barry Bonds” didn’t live up to they hype.

“Champion” is a good song, but again, I don’t feel compelled to listen to it in 2016.

The singles on it are dope, but I don’t really want to listen to them. If I hear “Stronger” or “Good Life” when I’m out I’ll enjoy it, but I’m not gonna look to play those records. Maybe “Can’t Tell Me Nothin” still gets some spins. That said “Flashing Lights” “Good Morning” “I wonder” and “Everything I Am” are timeless.

In short, a lot of that album felt like it encapsulated 2007 rap. (It features T-Pain, Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy[in ad lib form no less])

Whereas MBDTF all of those records still work, even the singles. There’s a timelessness to the sounds used in “Power” and there’s a uniqueness to the composition of “All of the Lights” even though it features Rihanna and was a massive pop record. “Blame Game” feels more like genuine emotions than “Big Brother” The production on there didn’t mirror the music of the time(No DJ Toomp or T-Pain feature) it redefined it. If he did use artists of the moment it was on his terms and it was to pull the best out of them in ways not seen before or after. (see Rick Ross on Devil in a New Dress, Cyhi on So Appalled and, of course , Nicki Minaj’s best verse ever on Monster)

“Dark Fantasy” is the best Rza production he’s put out in the last 15 years and it’s because Kanye sharpened the razor and refined that shit.

“Gorgeous” Kanye got on a track with Raekwon and had THREE verses. Any one of which outshined Raekwon. I would never have guessed that was possible.

Jay Z was on 2 songs and it barely even matters. That’s how good the album is.

And “Lost in the World” is the most fitting ending to that album, with the musical recalls (hear the “Power” chants come back at the end of the song)

The album features Nicki Minaj,Kid Cudi, Rihanna, Raekwon, Fergie, John Legend, Elton John, Alicia Keys, Rick Ross, Rza, Cyhi Da Prince, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, Bon Iver, Jay Z, Chris Rock….

and still manages to feel like an intensely personal album where we’re hearing parts of Kanye that we’ve never heard before.

The album pushesd genres combining the 90s nostalgia of Rza Raekwon with all of the futuristic electronic-inspired elements he learned from 808s and Heartbreak combined with the compositional orchestral elements he used so well in Late Registration mixed with the large arena-scale production he discovered during Graduation but with the inclusive collaborative fusion that he cultivated on College Dropout to make something we had never heard before. Or since.

Simply put. It’s not just Kanye’s best album. It’s the best produced, most cohesive, most innovative rap album ever made.

          9. marty mcfly says:

To your first comment about classic albums not having “unlistenable” tracks? Thats false. We ALL have songs that we skip on classic albums so to pretend like thats not the case is fake.

You keep listing songs that you think are good? So what, that don’t mean an album is better then another album just cause it got songs you think are good…

Furthermore your talking about Graduation when my comments were about Late Registrations not Graduation.

You think Dark Fantasy is Rza’s best production in 15 years? I’d say Rza got production on OB4CL2 (this album from Rae just destroys alot of other albums btw) Ghostface and Method Man albums that a slaughter that beat.

I don’t think it pushed the genre of Hip Hop because to get Kanye’s sound you have to go to Kanye so therefore people are forced to go in another direction because they don’t work with Kanye. So it didn’t push culture if nobody is trying to sound like that album.

That album features every artist in music, I didn’t necessarily think that makes it better then Late Registration. I just thought it sounded like Kanye was throwing everything he could at a dart board so something would stick so he got every artist in music to help…

Then you say its his most cohesive album? No. I don’t know how anybody can say that while Late Registration is out. Its clear Kanye was going for hit songs with MBDTF. Late Registration was clearly focused on Kanye’s SIGNATURE SOUND. Meaning everything Kanye does BEST was what that album was focused on. On MBDTF, he was trying new shit not what he’s comfortable doing and musically it sounds that way.

MBDTF was a dope album but musically and artistically I think Late Registration is alot better. I can see how people would argue different because the intent behind MBDTF was to be way over the top musically but again Late Registration was vintage Kanye not a “reaching” Kanye and that made for a better album imo.

          10. Dashing28 says:

“To your first comment about classic albums not having ‘unlistenable’ tracks? Thats false. We ALL have songs that we skip on classic albums so to pretend like thats not the case is fake.”

There’s a difference between not listening to a song and it being the worst song in your catalog. I’m not sure that there’s a worse song than Drunk and Hot Girls on any other Kanye album. Classic albums may have something you skip, but not hot garbage. Blueprint doesn’t contain Jay Z’s worst song ever. Neither does Illmatic. 36 Chambers. Aquemini. Midnight Marauders. etc.

“You think Dark Fantasy is Rza’s best production in 15 years? I’d say Rza got production on OB4CL2 (this album from Rae just destroys alot of other albums btw) Ghostface and Method Man albums that a slaughter that beat.”

Ok. Name the beat. I’ll wait.

As for Late Registration. It is GREAT. Agreed. The 2nd best Kanye album. But it had problems.
Too many skits. Broke phi Broke.
            Too many cringeworthy Kanye lines.
Every single feature outshines him on his tracks.
There’s no cohesion to any of the songs thematically so the songs, while great, are completely random.
            Conflict diamonds.
            Gold diggers.
            Crusing in the whip slowly.
            His mom.
            Crack music
And a lot of dope braggadocio rap.

            No cohesion.

“Addiction” is ehhh. “Hey Mama” is sweet but I don’t listen to it unless it’s around Mother’s Day. “Diamonds” is cool, but the beat is better than the song. “Crack Music” is cool, but didn’t quite hit it out the park…

It’s got classics to be sure “We Major” “Drive Slow” “Heard em say” “Gone” “Touch the Sky” and of course “Gold Digger”

along with some good solid songs in “Bring Me Down” “Celebration” ….

look it’s a great album, but it had its mistakes. Hard to knock, but it’s not MBDTF.

            You said
“So it didn’t push culture if nobody is trying to sound like that album.”

No one is CAPABLE of making anything like that. No one duplicated Thriller either. It’s cause they couldn’t. It doesn’t minimize the impact.

Late Registration wasn’t as innovative, interesting, cohesive, personal or daring as MBDTF.

I like Late Registration, but it felt like it was an improvement on College Dropout. Better rapping, bigger songs, more pop appeal.

MBDTF was a bold new step for Kanye. The lyrics were focused. He was the best rapper in the world when that dropped. And he wasn’t chained to the idea of what he’d made in the past.

          11. marty mcfly says:

I don’t know why your talking about Graduation or the songs on Graduation. My comments about Late Registration not Graduation. You keep talking about that song Drunk And Hot Girls? I don’t care about that song so who cares what it sounds like.

RZA’s New Wu on OB4CL2 is a better beat. Rza’s production on Supreme Clientele, Rza’s Run from Pretty Tony, Presidential MC and Konichiwa from Method Man’s 421 album, The Turn from Meth’s Prequel is all better beats but what difference does it make? If Rza’s beat is dope on MBDTF who cares? That don’t make it a better album because Rza’s on it. I don’t think you get why I said L.R is vintage Kanye? Its Kanye without Rza which imo is a better Kanye. I don’t know how your saying L.R has no cohesion but MBDTF does? But also fuck cohesion. People always make cohesion arguments? Being cohesive doesn’t mean shit. Why? Because cohesion doesn’t make something dope or not dope. Aquimini is not cohesive but its classic still. College Dropout isn’t as cohesive as L.R but its still dope. My point is you can be cohesive or you can throw cohesion out the window, both ways aint gonna make a wack song better or a dope song wack. It doesn’t matter.

Now as far as pushing culture? If NOBODY is able to make an album like MBDTF then it did NOT push culture. Why? Because “pushing” culture means creating a sound that does get duplicated by so many artists that it “pushes” culture. If the only beats that sound like MBDTF are on MBDTF then the album only pushed itself not the whole culture.

You say L.R wasn’t as innovative? Its not meant to be, its meant to be soulful hence the consistency is soul samples which is what’s Kanye’s SIGNATURE STYLE is. The reason MBDTF had RZA, No. I.D, Bink, S1 as well as imput from Q-Tip, Swizz Beats is because its meant to be innovation and with all those people you can’t fail anyway. Late Registration was meant to be good music. It wasn’t mean to be the Thriller album. It was meant to be a KANYE “SOUNDING” album. MBDTF sounded like a group effort because thats what it was. L.R was not, it was just a soulful Kanye.

          12. Dashing28 says:

“I don’t know why your talking about Graduation or the songs on Graduation. My comments about Late Registration not Graduation. You keep talking about that song Drunk And Hot Girls? I don’t care about that song so who cares what it sounds like. I always skip that song.”

Everything i wrote was a direct response to what you wrote. Forget Drunk and Hot Girls. Your point was 1 bad song can exist on a classic album. I refuted that point.

On Rza…..I said last 15 years, Supreme Clientele doesn’t even qualify. And none of the beats you mentioned are better than Dark Fantasy. “New Wu” and “Run” are the closest because they’re good vintage Rza beats, but they’re not better.Even if I grant you that they were, my larger point was that Rza’s production has been largely subpar and Kanye brought out the best in Rza who hasn’t put out amazing beats in awhile, while adding his own Kanye flavor with the larger orchestration and choirs…moving on.

On your argument about cohesion not mattering:

“Being cohesive doesn’t mean shit. Why? Because cohesion doesn’t make something dope or not dope. Aquimini is not cohesive but its classic still.”

Yes, cohesion matters because it helps you play the album all the way through and puts you in a zone when you hear it. Did you really say Aquemini is not cohesive?? Go re-listen to it. Just because it’s eclectic doesn’t mean that it’s not cohesive.

Kanye makes dope music, right? Ok, so if he makes dope tracks that are cohesive and fit together it’s a good album. If he doesn’t it’s the GOOD Music album.
“Mercy” “Clique” “New God Flow” “So Cold/Theraflu” all dope, but together on one album not cohesive. The album wasn’t great.

            On pushing culture

“Because “pushing” culture means creating a sound that does get duplicated by so many artists that it “pushes” culture. If the only beats that sound like MBDTF are on MBDTF then the album only pushed itself not the whole culture.

No. “Citizen Kane” pushed film “2001 A Space Oddysey” “Casablanca” The Beates pushed rock music. Bob Marley pushed reggae. Steve Wonder pushed r&B. James Brown pushed funk…..yet no one could emulate them. Does that mean that they didn’t push the culture??? Or does it mean that the art was brilliant and impossible to emulate by others…..Your point is invalid.

Here’s what you said about MBDTF

“MBDTF is what you make when you want everybody to like you and you have all the greatest artists and producers in the studio at the same time cause you have a multi million dollar budget and everybody gets to chime in because clearly the goal is to be liked by everybody and the songs intentions are complex because of that ambition Late Registration is what you make when your only concern is is this music good or not? Bottomline. ”

I disagree. Vehemently.Name me one single from MBDTF that was in any way blatantly reaching for commercial success. “Power” was the first single. Bars on a vintage drumbeat and musicality. When has that been the formula for a hit record in hop hop ever? “Runaway” a 9 minute song with musicality never seen before on a hip hop record, Kanye mumbling in guitar distortion and a Pusha T verse thrown in for good measure….yup, that screams of formula. Been done a million times before. Even “All of the Lights” which may be the “poppiest” record on the whole album and features a bevy of artists 1) doesn’t mention anyone besides Rihanna and Kid Cudi on the single credits (have to read the liner notes to see everyone else) and 2) still sounds nothing at all like any rap record before it. Live brass section, sputtering hard hitting distorted drums, the vocal harmonies, again, traditional pop records are simple and not that layered.

And if he wanted to make a record for people to love him how come “See Me Now” with Beyonce and Big Sean, the most obvious radio–friendly conventional record didn’t make the main tracklist??

Kanye had just come off of 808s and Heartbreak. If he wanted people to like him he could have thrown Drake (who was popping and who he recorded a record with) on his album and rode the Drake wave. He coulda made pop/dance records but he didn’t. He made the album that he wanted to make…..

            You said

“Late Registration is what you make when your only concern is is this music good or not? Bottomline. ”

No. I think LR, which cames after the success of College Dropout, put more pressure on Kanye with a sophomore album to both replicate the formula of CD and add new fans by going bigger, both of which he did. Not knocking that bad to say his “only concern” was making good music is inaccurate. He had an obligation to be succesful. An obligation that he didn’t have when he was already a proven top tier rapper when MBDTF was made..so Kanye made some moves that were obviously done to attract a larger audience.

Late Registration had the big single “Gold Digger” which paired him with a known quantity who had just played Ray Charles in an Oscar movie and whom he had a hit record with on his last album (Slow Jamz). It was a formula. It’s a great record, but it was tailored for success.

“Diamonds” was the initial first single, but it didn’t hit so he added Jay Z to it and made the original a bonus cut. Again, clearly he wanted to make the record bigger.

Again, not knocking the album, which I fucking love, but to say that the motives were just making music as opposed to MBDTF is off the mark.

“Gorgeous is trying to pull influence from multiple places and invoke a bunch of different ideas and complexities…. Touch They Sky is just a dope song period. Its not trying to sound like this and that at the same time, its only trying to be a good song.”

I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about. Gorgeous is a pretty straightforward record. It’s just a classic rap record with a blues sample and a Raekwon feature. It’s not trying to be anything other than that. It actually does such a good job of fusing Kid Cudi and Raekwon on a record together that you forget that the pairing should sound odd but they don’t. And it features Kanye’s best verses

            “Penitentiary chances, the devil dances
And eventually answers to the call of Autumn
            All of them fallin’
            for the love of ballin’
Got caught with 30 rocks, the cop look like Alec Baldwin
Inter century anthems based off inner city tantrums
Based off the way we was branded
Face it, Jerome get more time than Brandon
And at the airport they check all through my bag and tell me that it’s random”

            And verse 2

“Is hip hop just a euphemism for a new religion?
The soul music of the slaves that the youth is missing
This is more than just my road to redemption
Malcolm West had the whole nation standing at attention”

It’s a different song entirely from “Touch the Sky” so I don’t why you’re comparing them but Kanye aint pulling from too many places on it.

            On Kanye

“I told somebody a while back, I like Kanye more when he doesn’t work with anybody and he’s pulling soul samples. Why? Because thats really what makes Kanye, Kanye. Some people like this evolved Kanye who also sings, uses trap flows, and screams and rants and transforms into Yeezus and has every producer in the game touching buttons on one song before it comes out… Thats cool too but I like those early albums more.

That’s fair if that’s what your preference is musically. I think there’s a nostalgia element of that in there because it’s what got us excited about Ye initially and it was fresh. But let’s not pretend that he didn’t sit in a room with the most talented people for “Late Registration” Jon Brion essentially co-produced that entire album with him. And it did have a laundry list of collaborators on there (Lupe, The Game, Paul Wall, Jay Z, John Legend, Cam’ron, Brandy, Consequence, Nas, Adam Levine, Common etc)

Ditto for College Dropout. There’s literally too many to name from Freeway to Miri Ben Ari to Ludacris etc.

            So he’s ALWAYS done that.

In fact, he may have done that the least on 808s and Heartbreak, which I’m guessing you don’t like as much.

So your prefence is more for that version of Kanye than anything. And because you like that version more things like cohesion, lyrical dexterity, etc are less important to you. That’s fine, but just say that then.

I like that version of Ye too but he’s grown as a producer since then. And I’m not tryin to hear another chipmunk beat from him. “Otis” gave me the nostalgia bump I needed but I want to hear where he goes next.

I think his progressions have been mostly dope(Yeezus aside, that was some bullshit). But I think that MBDTF truly hit the mark, covering elements of vintage Kanye (the soul sample on “Devil in a New Dress” the “Power” sample) mixed with some elements he experimented with less succesfully on 808s but honed in better (“Runaway” “Lost in the World” “Hell of a Life”) and his songs are much more real. Re-listen to “Blame Game” and tell me that’s not a real song. He’s at his most expansively vulnerable while also at his cockiest (“Power”) and most sure of himself (“SO Appalled” “All of the Lights”).

          13. marty mcfly says:

No I didn’t say anything about Drunk Hot Girls so I don’t know why you brought that up. Yes I would say that a bad song can exist on a classic album though. A classic doesn’t mean it has to be perfect imo.

What you said about Rza doesn’t matter. So what if Rza had a dope beat on MBDTF? That don’t make the whole album better then Late Registration just cause you like the Rza beat.

My point about cohesion still remains. Something not cohesive can still be dope because cohesiveness doesn’t determine whether are not the songs are good or not. Yes I said Aquemini wasn’t cohesive which imo made it classic because its so many different styles going on. I’ll throw the Black Album from Jayz in there is as well. The Black Album wasn’t as cohesive as the Blueprint but the results were still dope. So imo the cohesive argument doesn’t matter, I wanna know is the album dope or not? Cohesive or not cohesive can still produce dope albums.

My point about pushing culture still stands. No you mention DJ Mustard? Lets say DJ Mustard made incredible beats that started being produced by a bunch of other producers… That would be pushing culture. If the sound of MBDTF can only be found on one album then where is the rest of the culture since you said its been pushed? Where is the other MBDTF’s? There not anywhere and thats because MBDTF pushed itself, I can’t say it started to regenerate itself in the sound of the entire culture. Now when T-Pain came out and influenced Kanye’s 808’s? I could say T-Pain “pushed” the autotune influence of that.

You said name you one song off MBTDF where Kanye was blatantly aiming for success? All The Lights. Your description of the song doesn’t suggest thats not what Kanye was aiming for. Kanye knows whats gonna be huge and whats just gonna be a good song. Clearly All The Lights was a shot for the moon (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

You said Kanye had an “obligation” to be successful with Late Registration? He was already successful before it came out. My point about L.R is musically kanye focused on what he does best, he focused his skill set on that album. It was not a group of producers all bring their skill sets to the table, it was Kanye doing Kanye which imo is a better Kanye. If Late Registration was tailored for success? So what? Did it sound good? Ok then mission accomplished. My problem isn’t whether or not the intention is success. My opinion is that Kanye himself and his signature sound in terms of soul samples without other producers and artists helping is a better Kanye then with other artists and producers. Thats my opinion.

Yes imo Touch The Sky is a better song then Gorgeous. Gorgeous is a dope song but Touch The Sky imo was better. You posting lyrics from Gorgeous doesn’t change my opinion of the SOUND of the songs. Touch The Sky was a triumphant, inspirational masterpiece imo.

When I say “what made Kanye, Kanye”? I mean the reason we even give a fuck about Kanye is because in the early 2000s what he was doing with soul samples. This brought him into working with Rocafella so his soul sample technique is what “made” Kanye. Thats what I meant. There is a particular signature sound that caught people’s hear about Kanye. He didn’t start with sounding like MBDTF, that was years later and the sound had changed. Its still dope but the SOUND of College Dropout and Late Registration is vintage Kanye imo.

yes Kanye worked with a bunch of people but the sound was vintage Kanye.

I never said cohesion and lyrical complexity is less important to me but in the context of this conversation it doesn’t matter because Late Registration is still dope whether you think its cohesive, not cohesive, lyrical or not lyrical… The results is still DOPE.

I think MBDTF sounds like a “Monster” because thats what it was intended to sound like. Just a huge monster of big giant sounds and over the top production that pulls influence from every where.

Imo Late Registration was just to be a very good album period. The music was just meant to very good and thats how it sounds and it sounds like the reason why at the time Kanye was so loved in Hip Hop. He brought them soul samples back in and the intent was just to sound good. Now if he wanted to be more successful thats fine to but when I say the intent was just to sound good I mean the musicality.

You have music thats meant to be SHOCKING or make people be like oh shit, or make something with a really nasty or dark or giant sounding presence etc… And then you have music that just sounds like its meant to be enjoyed for its musicality period. Thats what L.R was imo.

          14. Da Business says:

I’m with u, Late Registration is definitely the better lp and Ye’s best body of work. Although dope, and a masterpiece in its own right, MBDTF doesn’t even top his 1st 3 lps. I’m looking forward to hearing this new record tho. Ye needs to redeem himself bcuz Yeezus was ASS imo.

As far as this Wiz situation goes, Ye was outta pocket and owes Wiz 5 minutes.

          15. marty mcfly says:

Word. Late Registration is vintage Kanye just like College Dropout. Its before Kanye started having group sessions with whole production teams that consist of some of the greatest producers in Hip Hop. Thats what he did on MBDTF and I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that because thats why it was a great album.

However Late Registration is Kanye being Kanye. Its Kanye tapping into purely what he’s good at and that to me is the sound that made us all even give a fuck about Kanye to begin with…

          16. Kris Kompute says:

Ross? He had 4 bars. Gtfoh lol

          17. Dashing28 says:

Please don’t speak unless you know what you’re talking about….you obviously don’t know the album. You’re catching feelings but you stumbled. Go retrace your steps.

          18. Kris Kompute says:

            Oh? Did he not!?

            Exactly. STFU.

          19. Dashing28 says:

^Someone help this guy. He still hasn’t figured it out yet. All good. Hater talking never made me mad.

          20. Kris Kompute says:

I skip “Devil In A New Dress” everytime. I stand corrected.

          21. marty mcfly says:

            Yeah correct yourself dumbass. Smh

          22. lmao!! i like that. i prefer Grad over LR. but yeah, both amazing.

      3. Iamstillmusic says:

There would be no Drake without Kanye and he’s arguably the biggest act in hiphop atm

        1. marty mcfly says:

I think there would still be a Drake especially since he’s dropped more hit records then everybody is a relatively small amount of time. Its safe to say drake probably had many influences. Simply listening to one rapper isn’t gonna create a Drake level of artist. Drake said Phonte was his favorite rapper (a rapper/singer) and imo Phonte is a better artist then Kanye. Now I know people may disagree but Kanye was listening to Little Brother in them early days and he would know why I’m saying what I’m saying. Drake also came up on Wayne, Hov, UGK etc… It wasn’t just Kanye.

          1. Kris Kompute says:

Drake’s entire sound is 808’s and Heartbreak. He and 40 have both acknowledged this. Numerous times.

Please, stop typing these damn dissertations and shut the fuck up. You look like a whiny pussy who loves to argue and bitch.

          2. marty mcfly says:

Emo bitch stfu. To think Drake’s only influence is one album from one rapper is the kinda stupidity only you believe. At this point Drake has delivered more hit records then Kanye and furthermore more hit records then any rapper period so that kinda musicality suggests he probably knows a bit more about music then just one album. Gtfoh and stop bitching in your comments like a faggot dumbass.

          3. Kris Kompute says:

Drake doesn’t have a single record as big as any of Kanye’s hits. Check the charts bitch.

          4. marty mcfly says:

Yes he does but apparently you can’t see that singles like Take Care, Headlines, and Hold On We’re Going Home clearly passed some of Kanye’s singles you dumb fuck but this aint about hits, this about people thinking Drake solely gets influence from one rapper (Kanye) as if we didn’t get anything from Wayne, Jay, rappers from Houston etc… You really believe he just wants to sound like 808s period because your an idiot.

We can go on and on about hits, Drake been in the game less then half the time Kanye has and has put up 80 plus platinum records already…

          5. Kris Kompute says:

            Slow Jamz – #1
            Stronger – #1
            Gold Digger -#1

            Drakes lead artist #1’s – ……..

            Love Lockdown – Top 3
            Heartless – Top 3

            Drake’s lead artist Top 3’s –

            Best I’ve ever had
            Hotline Bling

Like I said, check the charts bitch.

          6. marty mcfly says:

Again, YOU talking about hit #1 songs. Thats not what the conversation was about. Your claim was Drake’s ENTIRE artistry is based on one album, 808s… NO stupidass No

You keep saying check the charts? Drake clearly has hit songs there dumbass. Your whole debate about hits vs Drake and Kanye is a debate your having with yourself, not me you fukboy idiot.

          7. marty mcfly says:

Your first claim was that everything Drake does artistically is based on 808s from Kanye? Only a faggot thats obsessed with Kanye would think that.

Your 2nd dumb claim was Drake doesn’t have a single ONE song thats as big as ANY song from Kanye? That too was such a stupid comment its ridiculous. The Take Care single is probably almost diamond at this point and you don’t think thats “as big” as say Homecoming from Kanye? Smh fuckin retard.

          8. Kris Kompute says:

I keep providing facts with sources. You keep backtracking and assuming.

            K bitch.

          9. marty mcfly says:

No fag. Your claims are that of someone with such an obsession with Kanye you actually think Drake based his whole artistic expression on one album from him and yet you think Drake doesn’t have a single big song in his whole catalog on the charts on the same level as Kanye as if Drake never had a number 1 single when Billboard clearly shows he’d gon overboard with number ones since he came out… Only a complete dumbass would make these kinda claims.

          10. marty mcfly says:

You posted some links with Drake talking about Kanye but no where in there did he say that the ENTIRETY of everything he creates is based upon trying to sound like 808s… THATS the claim you made. The fact that Drake doesn’t use autotune consistently (or voice effects that create a similar sound) for entire albums also destroys your dumb claim.

          11. marty mcfly says:

Drake is a better singer then Kanye (like Phonte) and he doesn’t lean on autotune like Kanye did when he was biting T Pain and Drake has the ability to rap better at times… It safe to say he can go beyond the sound of 808s fool.

          12. marty mcfly says:

            Drake – Get Over It

“Te (Phonte) you know, you know I told you many times you were my favorite rapper, right”….

          13. marty mcfly says:

Again, anybody that honestly believes Drake (or any artist) bases his entire artistic life of one album from one rapper is an idiot.

        2. marty mcfly says:

If Kanye wasn’t a “big act” in Hip Hop? I’m sure somebody else would be… So simply being ultra famous doesn’t mean much to me when it comes to artistry. That doesn’t mean I don’t recognize his talent but if there was no Kanye, I’m sure Jay Z would still exist.

          1. Iamstillmusic says:

I’m saying that Kanye influenced this new generation with all of his albums. All these new rappers took a sound from each album he drops like Drake with 808’s and Travis Scott with Yeezus

          2. marty mcfly says:

Ok well its alot of rappers out and not all of them sound like Kanye West so… Kanye’s holy grail artistically is his approach to SOUL SAMPLES. That did not necessarily begin with Kanye West. Am I downplaying his influence? No because I do realize that Kanye not being a gangsta rapper in the mainstream opened up a wider lane. However during the time of Kanye you also had 50 Cent and the beginnings of Trap music (which also influence Kanye) so yes Kanye did have an influence in terms of his approach to Hip Hop (like Pharrell during the same time) but there were other influences also going on as well. The way Kanye talks you would think he created everything but a young Future was probably listen to a Young Jeezy, a younger Young Thug was probably listening to Lil Wayne and a young Troy Ave was listening to 50 Cent… Again, this doesn’t take away from Kanye’s influence but when you say he influenced this new generation? Thats true but just not everybody.

          3. Iamstillmusic says:

I agree, there’s no rapper who can influence every single rapper but he’s achieved a lot. And he’s a creative genius because everything he creates both in music and not in music is brilliant

          4. marty mcfly says:

I think Kanye makes dope music. As far as everything he does being genius and brilliant? I don’t know about that. He just does shit and then says its the most incredible thing ever created in existence when in actuality its probably not.

          5. marty mcfly says:

Kanye would say he’s the greatest designer to ever make clothes but then have a fashion show that looks like out takes from a zombie movie with all brown clothes with holes in them that we all know we would never wear but nobody wants to say anything bad about their lord and savior Kanye. Smh

          6. Iamstillmusic says:

I feel that. But you’re also denying his impact. GQ has named him the most fashionable man on the planet so he has the right to toot his own horn. People hate Kanye because he’s arrogant I get it, but I see it as inspiration in believing in yourself. The rags in his clothing are not to be seen as his best work, it’s to show you the future of America. The world is headed in a terrible place and he wants to start a movement with his clothing line. I’m a Kanye fan and I also don’t think his new album will be the best album of all time but that’s just ye being ye. You say people are fake but which artist is realer than Kanye west? He’s the most honest artist I’ve ever seen who completely expresses himself without fear of others opinion

          7. marty mcfly says:

I made no denials of impact. So because GQ says he’s one of the most fashionable I’m supposed to agree? You know how long black people been getting fly and dressing with style. You think Kanye brought in that whole Polo, designer bags and shoes shit? No he got that from what niggas in the streets were already doing. Look at the photo of Kanye in this very post. Does that look like one of the most fashionable men on earth? So is he? Or is that just what GQ told you cause they knew you wouldn’t know any better? Now your saying his clothes at the fashion show ere terrible to show how the world is supposed to moving in a terrible direction? I think your making excuses for horrible looking clothes. I’d say Jayz, Nas, Common, KRS One, Lupe, are all just as real if not “realer” then Kanye but I was saying people are fake because they’ll call Kanye a genius but act like they don’t see when he’s doing and saying some dumb shit and they’ll rationalize and give excuses for his dumbshit because their so in love with him. Thats fake.

          8. Iamstillmusic says:

Come on, you can’t even deny his fashion sense, he’s been setting trends and it hasn’t stopped nor will it stop any time soon. If he isn’t one of the most fashionable men on earth then who tf is? Everyone is inspired by others. Also if you believe that those rags are Kanye actually trying to make his best clothes you gotta be dumb bro. He’s just showing you the future. The only person who can even compare in terms of how real they are on that list is Nas and even at that he doesn’t compare because Kanye made it his personality. Nas says real shit but Kanye embodies it and carries himself like that in the real world not just music.

          9. marty mcfly says:

Its no denial, HOWEVER people made this big thing about him wearing Polo Ralph Lauren when he came out. I was thinking to myself I been wearing Polo for ten years before Kanye came out (not to mention the whole Polo craze in the 90s) and now because Kanye is out here, its supposed to be some new shit? No. People talked about that “trend” along with his obsession with Gucci and Louis Vuitton when he was poppin in the early 2000s and I was saying to myself this shit is old, its not a “new trend”. Me and all my niggas been dressing fly since we was kids and alot of was fresher then Kanye in the early 2000s so how is he setting trends with the shit we been wearing since the early 90s?

Now your talking about me being dumb cause I’m saying his clothes was ugly because thats what they were and you trying to attach some kinda metaphor about his clothes and the future? I’m I stupid or are you? Bottomline was the clothes fly or not? No, ok then. In the future people will be better dressed then those brown clothes with holes in them so even with your conception of what he was doing, his idea was still wack and I don’t think thats what Kanye was doing. I think he was going with some kinda bland minimalistic clothing bullshit but the clothes still looked wack but because your so in love with Kanye you think its genius? Would you wear them bum ass clothes? No, ok then. You said the only person that can compare to Kanye’s “realness” is Nas? Ok so everybody is a lair? No. I think Jay, Lupe, Common and many others are “realer” then Kanye. If you think Kanye West is “realer” then KRS One? You sir are a Kanye stan. Kanye says he’s the Walt Disney, Andy Warhol, Leonardo De vinci, Michelangelo and the Steve Jobs of this generation… Does that sound to you like somebody being “real”? Or is he so full of himself that he really believes he’s at a multi genius level of all those people? No matter what you think he means be these statements? I don’t think he’s being “real”. I think Nas carries himself better then Kanye. I think Kanye says shit that makes people think he’s a jackass, Nas embodies what’s “real” about Hip Hop and the real world better then Kanye. Alot of times Kanye has made himself look like a fool and I know people think thats cool but a wise person doesn’t think playing the fool is the sign of genius.

          10. Iamstillmusic says:

I won’t debate the fashion anymore, he’ll just have to show you himself and again I don’t any of those artists you name are realer than Kanye because they are still politically correct at all times outside music. Kanye is the same person who said George Bush doesn’t like black people on national tv. As far as his idols, if that’s who he believes himself to be what can I say about that? If Steph thinks he’s MJ who am I to say no? Jay Z has called himself The modern day Picasso but the difference between him and Ye is that Kanye actually BELIEVES it.

          11. marty mcfly says:

Kanye been out for more then a decade so we’ve seen his fashion. Now Kanye can dress when he wants to but for years now he been looking like he does in this photo and his last fashion show had terrible clothes. I know and you know so please be real with yourself at least. Those artists I named are politically correct? Why because that don’t act stupid in public? Gtfoh. First off Jay’s actual life is “realer” then Kanye and as artists and how they carry themselves as men, their all “realer” then Kanye. So what Kanye said Bush don’t like black people. Lupe performed Words I Never Said at the white house on repeat until he was asked to step off stage… Kanye said Bush doesn’t like black people and he also acted like a complete jackass on Sway’s show (which Sway shoulda punched Ye in the face for disrespecting like that) and he throw several tantrums on stage like a fucking idiot over nonsense.

As far as what he said about all those people you call his idols, my question is does that sound like “reality” to you? Since your talking about Kanye being “real”? Is It “real” that Kanye is actually the new version of all those people? Is that “real”?

Jayz said he’s the modern day Picasso in a song called Picasso so thats not hard to figure out. Jayz BELIEVES that he’s Jayz, he’s not a delusional over exaggerating maniac with an obsession with historical influential white men.

None of this means I’m trying to clown Kanye but I do recognize that he has a tendency to make himself look like a fucking idiot. Anybody in denial of this fact is such a Kanye dick rider that they can’t see straight. This niggas went on a rant about Wiz, speaking on his child and everything and the whole shit was a misunderstanding because Wiz wasn’t even coming at Kanye like that. Kanye needs to get full out attacked by the whole Taylor Gang onsite after that shit.

          12. Iamstillmusic says:

Haha I know Kanye tends to spazz out but that’s who he really is. He doesn’t care and never will. Also hes the most fashionable hip hop artist ever so he can talk his shit about fashion, he can dress dude. Maybe one day he will become his idols but you can’t knock someone who believes in himself as much as him.

          13. marty mcfly says:

Yeah you know he tends to “spazz out” but to you thats like the signs of how genius he is rather then a sign of how ridiculous and irrational he is at times. He’s not the most fashionable ever and this is because people like you don’t wanna look at the clothes he’s wearing. Again look at what he has on in this photo and then realize he’s been dressing like that for the last 5 years. The most fashionable person ever wouldn’t be dressing terribly for years, thats don’t make no fucking sense. The fact thats what you would consider the most fashionable on earth is delusional. Its not that he believes in himself its the fact that he compares himself to those that have had world impact beyond entertainment and then says he’s the new version of that for this generation… You talking about him being the “realest”? Either his statements are “real” or their not. Bottomline. He’s not saying he “believes” he’s all these people? He’s saying he IS the equivalent to all these people. Thats not “real”.

          14. Iamstillmusic says:

For someone that doesn’t like Kanye you observe him so carefully. The point is that these claims you’re making about Kanye and fashion can be said about anyone. People like you like to deny the obvious. Kanye has dominated fashion since the day he became an artist. He designed for Loius Vuittion, Nike, Adidas and several European fashion brands. If you dress like him go get all those endorsement deals and design for the biggest brands in the world. Give credit where credit is due.

Again, Kanye is the greatest at expressing himself and you hate him for it because he isn’t politically correct like all your favorites

          15. marty mcfly says:

No where in my comment did I say I don’t like Kanye. In fact I do like Kanye and think he’s a great artist but I’m just a “real” person so everything I say is real talk even about people I like. Your saying I’m making “claims” about Kanye? There more then claims, there true. What I said in regards to Kanye and fashion, anybody who is an honest person would have to agree. Your saying Kanye has “dominated” fashion? Even that is a delusional statement that only a fake person would say. Thats no diss to Kanye’s success but lets be real, those europeans he worships so much in fashion? Go check their numbers before you talk about fashion “dominance”. Its not about giving credit or not giving credit its about being honest. Has Kanye been dressing like the most fashionable person on earth in the last few years or in his career period? I think anybody thats honest with themselves would have to say no, there are people they get flyer then Kanye when it comes to putting on clothes, thats just being real about the situation. If Kanye is the most fashionable I want you to look at the pic in this post and tell me if Kanye is dressed better then everybody else in that photo? Were them clothes dope at his last fashion show? Absolutely NOT. Now you say I hate him? Thats how ridiculous you are because no where did I say I hate him. In fact I think Kanye is great at what does musically, but I can be honest about the situation rather then just dick riding when I know thats fake. Pharrell has designed clothes, jewelry and accessories for Loius Vuitton and other high fashion companies as well, piece for piece who’s more fly? Kanye stans won’t wanna keep it real….

You say my favorites are politically correct? My favorites are Jayz and Nas so please go read through these niggas lyrics before you talk about political correctness cause clearly these two MCs can give two fucks about what’s politically correct. Jays last freestyle had a bar that said “Let em continue choking niggas, we gon turn styles, I aint your token nigga”… Kanye aint going that far with his angry over fashion bars ok.

          16. Iamstillmusic says:

Dude you still don’t get it, Nas and Jay Z say what they want on their songs but in real life? NO. That’s my point, Kanye is aggressive in his music and in real life. Jay Z will talk like a drug lord gangsta in his music but in real life he will get on Oprah and become America’s little sweetheart. Kanye gets on talk shows and he’s the exact same person in his music, aggressive and not giving a fuck.

You’re using a photo of Kanye in an airport to judge if he’s the most fashionable? No one dresses up to travel, people want to be comfortable but in terms of everyday fashion and dressing the ONLY person who can see Kanye west in fashion is Pharell Williams and even at that, Kanye has an edge because you can’t even buy his clothes you never could. Till this day you can’t even buy a pair of the Nike Yeezy’s nor you can buy a pair or Louis Vuitton Dons talk less of the new adidas that sell out in 24 hours. Kanye is definitely top 3 best dressed rappers of all time and if that doesn’t put you in the fashion hall of fame then nothing can.

          17. marty mcfly says:

Jayz and Nas’s songs come out in “real life”, they don’t live in an alternate universe where there words don’t get heard in “real life”. Alot of Kanye’s “agression” makes him look foolish. Is speaking on Wiz Khalifa’s son saying he owns his child? Is that aggression intelligent or foolishness?

Jayz did not act like “americas little sweetheart”, what you see Jayz doing is acting like an adult not a child. Go to ANY interview of Jayz and he conducts himself like an adult with maturity and sense it was not just the Oprah show. The reason Jayz isn’t waving guns and breaking out kilos of coke on talk shows just to prove he’s a former dealer is because Jay left the streets behind when he became a successful business man. What he says about his drug dealings he only says because its an honest aspect of his life but his rhymes have context to them. The way Jay acts is because he’s a man, not a immature child.

You said Kanye is the most fashionable person on earth or in Hip Hop? Ok well explain this photo then because if you don’t think “the most fashionable person dresses good at all times, especially when traveling and being photographed then you crazy. You said the MOST fashionable and that to me says a person who’s fresh at all times. You got people that choose to dress good everyday of the week period, they don’t care where there at so certainly the MOST fashionable person on earth would do the same. Its niggas in the streets thats fly everyday of the week, no excuses.

You saying Kanye has the edge in fashion because people can’t buy his clothes is a ridiculously stupid statement. Go look at Pharrells clothing companies and brands and designer items. The fact you still think Kanye designed better looking clothes is either dishonest or ignorance about fashion on your part.

Pharrell, Fonsworth Bentley, Diddy, Lupe, Cam’ron, Fabolous, a young Common and Ghostface, 2 Chainz, young Busta Rhymes when he was over the top colorful (like Ghostface), Andre 3k (when he dresses with sense) and many others have been alot better dressed then Kanye and we not even gonna talk about fly niggas, playas and pimps in the streets cause Kanye would get slaughtered in certain cities when it comes to getting fly.

The reason why I say Kanye stans like you are fake is because you’ll make an excuse for everything and refuse to tell the truth about Kanye. You only state the positive but completely ignore the negative and the utter stupidity he shows at times. #Fake

          18. Iamstillmusic says:

How am I fake for defending Kanye the way you would defend Jay? Didn’t I say that Kanye isn’t going to have the best album of time? Didn’t I. say that Kanye doesn’t give af about anthem whether you perceive that as rude or being real? The point is Jay Z still says things in his music that he never embodied in real life, spoke on real life or any of that. Nas gets on songs and talks about how much America is a piece is shit and how they are tryna kill us all but will never see that on camera. Kanye belivies in his words and is really who he is in his music. I compare Kanye to J Cole because J cole also is a perfect example of living his raps to the letter.

All of those people you named have never designed for the biggest brands on earth. I guess if the ceo of Louis Vuitton was a rapper you would say people dress better than him too. Those people you named have a stylist, it’s easy to get fly when you have money but none of them can design a shoe for Nike and have it the highest grossing Nike shoe of all time. Talk to me when Puff Daddy makes a shoe like the Yeezys 2. Talk to me when Faboulous designs for Louboutin for both men and women. Talk to me when these pimps and the gangstas in the streets design a shoe with the most luxurious brand on earth which is Louis Vuittion. Pharell Williams is dope but his fashion resume does not match Kanye and that’s facts. There is no rapper whose fashion statements in both wearing clothes and making them match up to Kanye. Zero. Also if you catch Kanye on his worst day like the photo above, I guarantee he is still more fashionable than those rappers you named on their worst day; these rappers wear basketball shorts and a t shirt to travel, it’s not that serious.

Kanye west has faults like everyone on earth but people like you have him because you can’t control his mouth they way Jay Z and all your favorites can be controlled. Kanye shouldn’t have spazzed on Wiz, I agree. But nevertheless that’s Kanye again expressing himself no matter what which no one else does. Whether you find these actions good or not does not take away from Kanye being the best at expressing himself

          19. marty mcfly says:

I said look at this photo and tell me Kanye is the MOST fashionable in this picture? You made an excuse rather then keeping it real. Your fake. I said Jay acts like an adult in ALL interviews not just with Oprah. Thats not a defense, its the truth. What has Jayz said that he doesn’t embody? What specific rhymes? If Jay isn’t talking about “real life” then what his he talking about? Fantasy land? Have you seen all Nas’s interviews? So how you know if he hasn’t spoke on america before? Furthermore if he said it on record, that is gonna go further then an interview is and its gonna stick more because its recorded. Nas has like 15 albums, its no interview that can capture how much Nas has said about issues in america already…

What does Kanye speak about more in interviews? Issues in america or fashion and how he’s more famous then everybody on earth? What does he talk about the MOST in interviews?

You keep talking about designing for the biggest brands? Yeah they were already big before Kanye got there because they had been around for generations. Its easy for Kanye to call himself the Louis Vuitton Don because Louis Vuitton was already a world wide brand before Kanye showed up. Its easy for Kanye to act like he popularized Polo because Ralph Lauryn already did the work, Kanye just showed up to bandwagon like its his own clothing when its not. Kanye didn’t put his own name on the line, he just kept saying the names of designers that were already hot. Thats extreme dick riding on his part and they probably made more money off him then he made off them. Smh

I’ll give him props for his shoes. No problem. He did do them through NIKE which was already a huge brand so its not like he stood on his own feet business wise but I’ll give him credit for that. Your statement was Kanye was the MOST fashionable? THATS what I’m disagreeing with. I’m sure Kanye has stylest too and as far as people having money being able to dress nice? Its people with not that much money that dress better then Kayne. I grew up with niggas that dressed considerably better then Kanye and they wasn’t rich. Its niggas in the streets that been flyer then Kanye since the 90s and dress good EVERYDAY 24/7. If you saw me coming through the airport and you took a picture, I’d be better dressed then what you see Kanye in in this picture. Kanye has HUNDREDS of photos where’s he poorly dressed, some of us don’t have even one photo where we aint dressed well. #REAL TALK

Niggas don’t have to design shoes to be better dressed the Kanye. Clothes go beyond shoes, we talking about head to toe. You think Kanye is the MOST fashionable? I think you lost your mind if you honestly believe that. Either that or wherever your from, people must dress terrible.

Now between Pharrell and Kanye? Your being intellectually dishonest. Pound for pound, item for item, who’s clothes LOOKS BETTER, not who sold the most of one item (shoes) but overall who makes better CLOTHES. Who’s clothes LOOK BETTER. Go look through Billionaire Boys Club over the years. Anybody saying Kanye has produced better items then that is a mothafuckin liar period.

You say Jayz is controlled? Nobody controls his mouth, he acts like an adult and speaks with intelligence because he’s grown and he’s not an idiot. You say Kanye is “expressing” himself but yet you don’t agree with him speaking on Wiz child and you know why? Because you know its a sign of stupidity on Kanye’s part and I sign of somebody who’s emo and can’t control his mouth so thats why you not cosigning his words. Jayz don’t have that problem because when he speaks he’s talks like he has an adult level of self control. Nobody needs to control those that can control themselves.

You sir are FAKE just like I said Kanye stans are because even when the truth is right in your face about specific statements, actions and pictures with Kanye not dressed well (that have been out for years now)…. You still can’t keep it real. #Fake

          20. Iamstillmusic says:

Calling me fake doesn’t make me fake I know who I am. I’m done arguing fashion with you because you know not of what you speak. I have friends who are into fashion and they break their necks trying to get endorsements from local brands for free, talk less of designing for the biggest companies on earth. Do you want to know who is the second most fashionable man on earth according to GQ? David Beckham. David has never designed anything in his life, he does endorsement deals and people call him fashionable. Kanye MAKES those clothes that sell out for the biggest brands ever. How dare you say we’ve never seen Ye dress well, gtfoh you’re no rap fan. Even a blind man knows Kanye is the fashion king of hip hop. Judge everything Kanye has done pre Yeezus era and his genius is undeniable. Pharell Williams is great as well and I see him as an equal that’s why I said Kanye is TOP 3 EVER. Talk to me when the LV reaches out to your homeboys in the hood to design for them. You don’t know how much of a big deal that is. I guarantee you could spend the remainder of your life just trying to design socks for Louis Vuitton and they would shun tf outta you. I dare you to try to offer a shoe to Nike and see the reactions you get. You don’t know shit about fashion. If not name the three best fashion gods of hip hop. There’s no denying Kanye West

Again, The Wiz incident wasn’t smart but that’s how Kanye felt. If Jay Z felt the exact same way towards Wiz, he would look for a politically correct statement to push out. Kanye doesn’t give af and you hate him for it like the rest of America. Stay mad.

          21. marty mcfly says:

No your fake. I said is Kanye the most fashionable in this photo and you made excuses… I know what I speak in terms of fashion and the last fashion show Kanye did was trash. Pharrell owns Kanye in fashion, let alone the europeans he worships as gods. We not talking about designing for companies, we talking about the clothes Kanye puts on is back himself. Are the clothes Kanye has been putting on for the last few years the MOST fashionable? Absolute not.

Fuck GQ, they do not dictate what’s fresh to me. Thats a magazine for crackers, its not a magazine for my culture. Yeah Kanye makes clothes for brands that are already legend anyway. Besides his shoes what items is Kanye making hot in the streets? His fucking clothes with confederate flags? This nigga worships white people so much he even tries to sell clothes to Klan members and skinheads, smh. I didn’t say we’ve NEVER seen Kanye dress well. Now you gotta lie to try and save face. Usually a liar is a fake person….

Pre Yeezus era Kanye was screaming Polo, Gucci and Louis Vuitton… Brands that had been hot for years before he came in ranting about them as if they were new? No. Again we not talking about companies reaching out for niggas to design for them, we talking about the clothes Kanye and others put on their back. My niggas wouldn’t suck Louis Vuittons dick like Kanye did for YEARS before they finally gave him a shot. LV went out to get Pharrell cause they appreciate his taste. Kanye literally begged them for a job. There’s a difference and again Kanye didn’t make LV hot, there were already hot.

We talking about is Kanye dressing better then everybody else in the world? The answer is simply NO. Again look at this video with Kanye dressed terrible… Now look at every photo Kanye has taken for the last 5 years and look at how he’s dressed. He literally has hundreds if not thousands of photos dressed terribly. Again if you think Kanye is the most fashionable person in Hip Hop? Then niggas in your city must dress terrible. I’m from the Bay Area, niggas out here get so much fresher then Kanye its not even funny and on a regular basis he he would get destroyed by multiple niggas on any club night out here… FACTS

Yeah the rant Kanye went on about Wiz and his family wasn’t smart, it was the reaction of a fucking fool.

          22. Iamstillmusic says:

If calling me fake makes you feel better about yourself then do so. Kanye being a top 3 best dressed rapper ever is non debatable until you name your top 3 (Pharell inclusive) who can dress and also design. This debate is meaningless, you just don’t like Kanye for who he is like the rest of America.

          23. marty mcfly says:

You demonstrated how fake you are by your denial of things thats plan as day about Kanye West and thats some fake shit period. You thinking Kanye is top 3 best dressed Hip Hop artists ever either means you know little to nothing about the history of fashion in Hip Hop or you looking at this photo of Kanye like this nigga is coming through fresh as a young Slick Rick when in actuality he looks like he slept on a subway train or some shit. He could at least keep it professionally fresh like a Ryan Leslie or Mos Def or somebody and this the nigga you think is the MOST fashionable? You out your fuckin mind. You keep saying I don’t like Kanye? I actually do like Kanye, I like him enough to tell the truth.

          24. Iamstillmusic says:

Stop the antics and name the top 3 who can dress and design

          25. marty mcfly says:

None of comments have any “antics”. Again if you gotta lie in your comments? You fake. Its not up to me to make lists of top people for you, shit I already named several people fresher then Kanye West but you saying he the MOST fashionable…. On earth, in hip hop, top 3 etc…. Thats a ridiculous statement on your part especially considering the many photos of Kanye dressed like he is in this pic. Now if your ignorant to fashion then fine but you being on some Kanye is the MOST fashionable shit? Is either ignorance, denial or just fake period. That fact you still talking even after the people I already named, you know damn well shit on Kanye when it comes to clothes is ridiculous.

          26. marty mcfly says:

If you think Kanye is the most fashionable nigga then you go ahead and think that but bruh, the shit Kanye being wearing 80% of the time is some regular ass, simple ass, basic ass black sweater and black jeans shit looking like he’s on his way to the gym or some shit… Nigga please, the most fashionable…. Smh

          27. Iamstillmusic says:

Just like I thought…you can’t name them because you know Kanye’s name will be brought up. Conversation over

          28. marty mcfly says:

I named ten people already that ALL shit on Kanye when it comes to clothes… Read my comments again fool and you’ll see multiple names then reconsider why calling the nigga in this photo the MOST fashionable person is delusional on multiple levels. Anybody who would say Kanye is the most fashionable person ever in Hip Hop after looking at this picture needs to excuse themselves from Hip Hop culture.

          29. Iamstillmusic says:

Those people you named don’t design. Name the best 3 most fashionable rappers that can also make you like up to buy thier clothing products. Stop the sentiment and admit that Kanye is up there and you obviously just hate him

          30. marty mcfly says:

No they don’t design I never said they do. We were talking about putting on clothes and getting fresh not working in the fashion industry, there’s a difference. I’m saying is this picture of Kanye the MOST fashionable? No fool. You get your opinion from GQ magazine, I get mine from the streets and the “culture” of Hip Hop. You talking about “designers”, I’m talking about putting on clothes and looking fresh not who’s the most famous designers. Kanye screams their names enough already and their all european white men that don’t give a fuck about our culture besides it bringing in millions for them. In fact some have implied there clothes was never made for “us”…

I don’t have to name the 3 most fashionable rappers because clearly we have a difference in opinion (aside from me already dropping a list of names, smh) so while you looking at this photo of Kanye think its “fashionable” and probably looking through GQ for a pair of skinny jeans, your opinion on whats fly and fresh is clearly completely different from mine.

          31. marty mcfly says:

Plus I already named more then 3 rappers that design and do they make better clothes then Kanye? ABSOLUTELY.

On top of that they rep they own names instead of naming themselves after Louis Vuitton like a groupie.

          32. Iamstillmusic says:

Who are the 3 that makes clothes and dress better than Kanye?

          33. marty mcfly says:

Are you just gonna modify the context of every question you ask to lower the bar as much as possible every time you talk? Do you think making excuses for Kanye negate anything in regards to my comments? Do you think I don’t know that you’ve seen a countless amount of photos of Kanye dressed poorly over the years in the media and elsewhere? So I guess your gonna pretend your blind and never saw any? Count how many names I said already, are you seriously asking me to list more names? Do you think I was listing people that I think dress worse then Kanye? Comeonnow. Have you looked at this photo of Kanye? I want you to look at this pic of Kanye and realize your making an argument for somebody who takes these kinda pics all the time not just this once but years and years worth of pics like this ok. You talking about a designer that may have had the worst fashion show in history with that last shit. It was so bad that you honestly think its some kinda metaphor to show how the world is fucked up and moving in the wrong direction so I guess Kanye wants us all to dress terrible or something? The fact your still talking with the long list of factual shit I’ve said about Kanye in regards to fashion, including this damn picture, is a level of stanning that I doubt Kim Kardashian would go to. Again your the one making “thee most fashionable” claims here. Its not on me to name people after I left plenty of comments. How are you not seeing the names I listed? ALL OF THE NAMES you see that fit your line of questioning in which you keep switching the goal posts because your argument is the fakest most delusional case of denial and stanning ever…. Are BETTER then Kanye. Why the fuck would I list people that I think are worse dressed then Kanye? Would that make any fucking sense? Of course not. Smh

          34. marty mcfly says:

I’ve already answered that question anyway. However like I said, I wasn’t making the argument for best dressed fashion designer. Thats was a false argument and switch of context you made because you think you slick. When I was talking about just everyday people in america? You think I meant only designers that own clothing lines? Of course not. Again, you get your fashion opinions from GQ magazine. I get mine from Hip Hop culture. Foh

          35. Iamstillmusic says:

In order for me to consider you one of the most fashionable people, yes you have to design. Anybody with money can hire a stylist and get fly like ASAP rocky or any of those rappers you named. So if those rappers you named don’t design they don’t count for me. Like is said, Kanye is top 3 all time along with Pharell. I guess your criteria for being the best dressed and mine are different so let’s agree to disagree.

          36. marty mcfly says:

So somebody that doesn’t design clothes but knows how to dress well can’t be the most fashionable? Smh. You switched the goal posts only cause you know damn well Kanye is not top 3 or even top 1000 most fashionable people. Just cause somebody doesn’t design for some europeans after begging them for work doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t dress well. If you put on some fly clothes does the fact you don’t design for a company take anything away from what you got on? Of course not. The level of delusional stanning your on is crazy. Kanye can show up looking like this and you think he’s the most fashionable ever… GTFOH

On top of that I named several that design fool, how did you not those names…. Phat Farm (Russell), Rocawear (Jayz), Sean John (Diddy), Billionaire Boys Club (Pharrell)…. Play Clothes, A Bathing Ape, Last Kings etc…. I could go from Mark Ecko to FUBU, any era and damn near 90 something percent of every Hip Hop clothing line has SHIT ON KANYE’S CLOTHES… Are you crazy? Look at this picture of Kanye. His he dressed like the most fashionable nigga in this photo? NO fool, this pic of Kanye destroys any claim of him being the MOST fashionable anything. Only a fool would argue otherwise. How many items of clothing do you own from Kanye? Other then his shoes? How much Kanye is in your closet? Likely not a mothafucking thing and you know why? Because you don’t wanna look ridiculous in his clothes and you know why? Because YOU think their TRASH too, thats why you don’t wear any of his shit because you yourself would not wanna wear his clothes. Again look at this photo of Kanye, would you put that on and think your the most fashionable anything? Of course not

And again going back to the STREETS (fuck the european designers Kanye worships), its niggas that get fresh and dress well 24/7 365…. Therefore Kanye is NOT the most fashionable any fucking thing.

          37. Iamstillmusic says:

            I agree to disagree

          38. marty mcfly says:

Yeah considering its reality vs insanity, thats all you can do. I said about 20 different points about Kanye in terms of fashion that are FACTS vs your delusional stanning thinking the nigga in this photo dressed terrible is the most fashionable person. Smh

          39. marty mcfly says:

The designers Kanye worships? He worships them because they shit on him… So even in the context your talking, Kanye is destroyed there too.

          40. marty mcfly says:

Furthermore Asap Rocky put on a dress like some kinda homo. Nobody I named ever did no shit like that and you don’t know who has a stylist and who doesn’t. Kanye probably has twenty stylists and he still comes out looking like he’s coming from the gym. I named street niggas (Thirston Howl, Young Dro, Smoke Dza, Ghostface, Cam’ron etc…) Niggas that learned how to get fly in the streets fool not from no fucking stylist or GQ magazine. Foh

          41. marty mcfly says:

There’s a pic of Kanye that came out today of a fake Rolling Stones cover put the image of Kanye is real and he’s wearing off all things a denim shirt with huge white milk looking blotches and a beanie… This is the nigga you think is the MOST fashionable.

          42. marty mcfly says:

No I don’t hate him, again I actually like Kanye (music) so thats why I’m gonna keep it real about his fashion. The nigga your calling the MOST fashionable? Was just a few years ago trying to push leather kilts, jackets with confederate flag patches and tie dye rockin roller inspired shirts for Yeezus promo… #Kanye West doesn’t care about black people.

          43. marty mcfly says:

Kanye in Hip Hop fashion is a wannabe Dapper Dan that don’t have a quarter of the skills, sense of style or taste, thats not dope enough to put his own designer nuts on the table (pause) like Pharrell with Billionaire Boys Club (let alone Russell, Diddy or Jayz with they companies) so he just begs europeans to please let him work for them but item for item in terms of “clothes”? He doesn’t even design fresher clothing then Tyga’s Last Kings and even Tyga was dope enough to cater to his own culture before he ran across seas to make wealthy european designers even richer as he continuously begs them for licensing of their brands. On top of that there’s the many photos of Kanye dressed terribly. Not to mention his last fashion show was probably the worst shit Europe has even seen.

          44. marty mcfly says:

Pharrell made his own brand and then made it hot in the streets. Kanye dicks sucks popular brands like Ralph Lauryn, Nike and Louis Vuitton and then acts like he made them hot in fashion vs the other way around.

          45. Iamstillmusic says:

The niggas from your city couldn’t even afford Kanyes belt

          46. marty mcfly says:

Speak for yourself Stan, you literally think the nigga in this photo is the MOST fashionable person…. LOL

          47. marty mcfly says:

Before you say shit else and without making excuses, is Kanye dressed like the most fashionable person in Hip Hop in this photo? Yes or No. Watch you skip around the reality of the situation… #Fake

    3. youngjedifresh says:

get Kanye dick outta ya mouth first… Kanye didn’t invent hip hop or fashion culture, and both would be fine without his influence. You must be 15 years old or something. Kanye was influenced by someone else.. meaning the genre was around before Kanye was…. Kanye hasn’t had a good album since what MBDTF? Everything he’s released thus far minus No More Parties is TRASH!

      1. Nathaniel says:

        you mad?

present day hip hop and pop culture AS WE KNOW IT. that’s all i meant. and i only made that post given the context in which ye told wiz he’s his OG. i.e. ye’s work gives a wiz khal… man i ain’t repeating this shit lol. reading comprehension, g (refer to initial post).

    1. ... says:

        1. Tec1Nyc says:

And that was yearsss ago. Wiz hasn’t put out any good music since back then

      2. Eric says:

        1. WadooNYNJ says:

I hear Wiz music and turn quick!

        2. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

          nah it was

          1. DRAG says:

Prince Of the City 2 was a classic … Kush & OJ was just when ppl caught on to Wiz and it was good. Not a classic though. It was popular.

          2. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

“Prince Of the City 2 was a classic”- says nobody

      3. THE ALMIGHTY MIKEY ESCO!!! says:

STOP SAVING BRIAN!!! FK YO FEELINGS!!!

      4. GetReal says:

fam definitely said albums not mixtapes…

      5. It was classic for timing and where it got him. He hasn’t been able to recapture it sense. But I heard a lot of curren$y in that album, especially on songs like Good Dank

  11. IM730 says:

Wiz is still mad about the video he found on Ambers macbook of ye pissin on her or some shit. other genres you have to steal a whole chord progression and melody… in rap you use one word and niggas wanna act like you STOLE A NIGGAS WHOLE CAREER.. Wiz smoke an L and take the L..

    1. RightHook says:

SMH ..your 100 percent correct. This is why rap progresses soooooooo slow…ideology like what happened here…

    1. boy says:

AINT nobody scared of wiz lanky ass!!! NIGGA dress like a openly gay hairdresser.

    2. Caposet says:

This is the same guy that on national television said that the President of the United States doesn’t care about black people. He would most surely say it to his face if he felt it.

      1. jay says:

yep Kanye dont give a fuck

    3. WadooNYNJ says:

WIZ has always been lame… and you know ye never lied to us. More YE Less Wiz

    4. VAMP SODA says:

  18. uʍop ǝpısdn says:

  19. thedeamkid19 says:

¨I’m the best that’s ever made music¨ ha, ¨you let a stripper tap you¨ sayd by the sucker who married a kardashian. delusional kanye strikes again

    1. Shock says:

She’s rich though. ..Wiz was a meal ticket to a stripper

      1. thedeamkid19 says:

so marrying a hoe is ok if she is rich? being interested makes it better?

        1. Dashing28 says:

Legitimate question. If the tape did not leak, would she be a hoe? Or just a girl who had sex with her boyfriend?

Pretty sure Amber would be a stripper regardless

          1. thedeamkid19 says:

she is a hoe up and down selling her ass on every deam picture every five second

          2. Kris Kompute says:

And your girl sent niggas tit pics for free

  22. Epul says:

Damn Wiz just got Meeked lol

  23. suckafree says:

kanye most overrated hip-hop artist ever.

    1. Iamstillmusic says:

      Incorrect

      1. Itsastyles says:

Not at all…And this is coming from someone who’s been listening to Ye since Freshmen Adjustment, College Dropout, Late Registration ETC…No doubt his production, and sound, and heavy crossover into pop has shifted alot in the way we do things in HIP-HOP for sure. But man…He’s absolutely overrated (IMO) lately. And not saying YOU…But alot of people bring up just his production as to why he’s great and that’s corney. How long we gonna keep using that excuse?! In no other genres or cultures does that shit exist, or do people act like this…He says he makes the greatest music of all time…Do YOU agree with that?! Cause I know for sure I don’t. MBDTF was like this last great work of art, and everything he tried shit that other people were afraid to, but it just didnt work…his features were weak and irrelevant. He does the same shit drake does, but no one calls his out for it. He milks the hottest newest artist, (Chief Keef for ONE example) and then where they at?! He bringing up Cudi, but when was a the last time he mentioned cudi for the love?! Dude is arrogant, and insecure and needs the world’s validation that he’s the best. You don’t CALL yourself the greatest or best…And for his disrespectful ass to say Pac was overrated is beyond me…Kanye need to find himself first

        1. Harlem's Finest says:

Milking someone would def have to include using them for more then ONE hit song lol, but you’re wrong anyway cause, Didn’t Kanye have keef on his LAST album? Wait, didn’t Kanye feature on keef’s last album? Lmao dude gtfoh with that one. Oh and Ye just used CUDI for his short little 808s tour that was LAST YEAR!!! He didn’t have to have him perform with him on those dates. The rest of your argument is subjective. Me personally, I liked his features. I only listen to smuckers because of him. Tell your friends is one of my fav songs right now. White dress is just beautiful. All your fault is a banger. So was blessings and all day was aight. And watch the throne was dope as hell to me and I still play Otis and niggas in Paris like it just came out. Cruel summer was weak and Yeezus was average to me. Dude really dropped one ok album and ppl just act like he been dropping duds since graduation

          1. Itsastyles says:

            1. Even G Herbo/Lil Bibby and Chance all said the same thing about Kanye milking Chicago rappers just not too long ago, idk if you saw it. 2…I brought up his old shit because people swear once you go against something or disagree with something, you’re a hater. Once again…I’ve been listening to and Following Kanye since 2003 dog. But fact is, he’s just not the greatest to make music ever. That’s all I don’t agree with, and that was my only point I wanted to make. Don’t see how that’s a problem. You’re right the rest of my argument was a subjective, but it was irrelevant for what point i was trynna get across. I really didn’t care for Yeezus at all, I think it was over rated, but he definitely had a few songs on there that were tough. I saw him perform live in Philly and I don’t think any other Hip-Hop artist can put on a show like him at all…So this has nothing to do with me thinking he dropped duds, or fell off. But he does sometimes make just OK music or average music, and acts like it’s a game changer. But I mean then again who doesn’t?! But dude making us wait for material, like it’s the cure to music or something. Which I hope it is…Trust me Bruh, you don’t know how bad I want this Waves shit to be muthafcukin crack. But that’s what I’m saying, he puts that much pressure on himself. He gotta let the material speak for himself and stop being arrogant calling himself the best of all time to do it. He’s like a little kid that needs attention, and that’s what DOESN’T make him the best. But I will NEVER knock his genius and ingenuity at all. Real Friends is my shit right now btw…

        2. Iamstillmusic says:

I agree that him stating that he’s the best artist ever is a big stretch but he’s definitely one of the best hip hop artists ever and that alone is reason to be arrogant. I don’t think he needs the worlds validation, rather he’s just a passionate person and inspires confidence in his listeners

      2. Chase says:

So is this beef fake or what???

  24. mike h says:

As a hip hop lover this made my day.

  25. Peekay says:

Someone has an album coming out, fire up the beef machine. “All I want is peace and positive energy” after blowing off a ton of negative energy. Classic.

  26. Views From The 666 says:

    amber rose exposing these homos

  27. Harlem's Finest says:

Ima Ye Stan, but he went a little to far bringing up wiz’s kid! That’s fucked up. He would lose his fucking mind if someone mentioned nori or Saint. Other than that, I can’t wait for the 11th! This album should be amazing. Once you see all the ppl that helped make this album, I don’t see how this could be a dud. Plain pat, Kendrick, chance, Mike dean, ASAP Rocky, mr Bently, Drake, Jay, earl sweatshirt, swizz, madlib, bu, the dream, Travis Scott I mean damn and that’s just the people that signed the notepad

    1. Dashing28 says:

He gon’ apologize for that. Wait for it.

  28. Captain Jack says:

Kanye turn off your phone for the rest of the day and go play with your kids

  29. el jim chapo guzman says:

So Kanye thinks it’s okay to talk about someone’s child . And this is the same loud mouth punk that dated Amber Rose for years . Also if someone said something about his daughter you would not like it , especially since she seems to always have a frown on her face like she’s mad at the world . Also what does Kloe’s fake ass have to do with anything . The main slut , giving interviews on where you been screwing at , really ! You are the most arrogant asses that has walked this earth . Worry about your husband and boyfriend , because if Wiz rapped about how many rappers that have ran thru you and Kanye’s wife he would have a number 1 hit on his hands !

    1. mac DIESEL says:

      Jibber Jabber.

  30. Rob Lo says:

Wiz needs to drop Kanye when he sees him…u dont talk bout nobody kids like that…fuckouttahere….Kanye “Gayest Rapper of all Time “

  31. Rob Lo says:

Wiz needs to fuck this nigga up asap..I got a child and I was pissed off.U dont talk bout nobodys kids like that…fuckouttahere…fuck rapping im fuckin u up….Kanye just made a gay rant like a girl and yall soft niggas respect it. KANYE “GAYEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME”

    1. GetReal says:

ion respect the kid thing but you got another thing coming to you like wiz is gonna do shit

      1. #bootyfingers says:

You’ve never seen the dudes that surround wiz huh… Ye has trouble with dudes that have their hands full with cameras…

        1. Kris Kompute says:

Everybody got bodyguards. Shut yo pussy ass up. Ain’t been in a fight in 10 years cause you scared of height and size.

  32. quetzalstar says:

Amber rose roasted him real quick. Wiz need to snuff him one time for the child comment. As for waves……free max b. This all gets forgotten when the album drops and it better not be a dud. He actually thinks he’s better than Michael Jackson. Crazy

    1. GetReal says:

its illegal to think you the best ever?

    2. DoughboyToad says:

How did Amber roasted him when she is an Ex bruh she is lying

      1. quetzalstar says:

Alright then. I wouldn’t count on that being a lie but I wasn’t there

  33. yo says:

I’m so ready for waves. Ye is the man. Cudi is too. I’ve always been annoyed by wiz and his fans. I can’t stand when an artist is shit and their fans refuse to admit it. That’s wiz and his fans in a nutshell. Wiz is no different from two chains if you ask me.

  34. The Gary Group says:

A fuck nigga who wifed a known hoe checks another nigga who wifed his old hoe. Who really wins here? Online beef is for hoes anyway. Kanye did this for publicity cause he saw what Drake did to Meek.Niggas is trash
