Nas headlined Mass Appeal’s ‘Live At The BBQ’ showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas last night. During his set, he premiered his collaboration with the late J Dilla. Produced by Madlib, “The Sickness” will be featured Jay Dee’s album, The Diary on April 15.

This sounds good. Dilla is a lyrical monster, I remember him on the Common album as my first intro, he got the better of common on quite a few joints. Nas seems hungry on this, always dangerous seeing him acting like he has something to prove. Too many times posthumous releases sound like half assed work, not this.
