Commemorating this year’s USA Olympic basketball teams, Nike commissioned Chance The Rapper to create his own national anthem.
Nike, Apple, Red Bull, on the radio…

This cat is SUPER, SUPER overrated. There is nothing special about this dude. His music, sound, look, etc…very middle of the road. And he’s an industry plant with money behind him. Indie artists don’t get the push this cat is getting.

Right. I tried to like this dude. Tried bumping Acid Rap for a while and couldn’t force myself to like it. Tried to listen to Coloring Book and could’t make it through the first 3 songs. I really struggle to understand the appeal…especially when you have dudes like Kendrick, Cole, Krit, and Logic out here giving us some bars.
Exactly. And that tired raspy harmonizing that he does on every record is mad annoying. I am ALL for positive music (actually prefer it) but I just can’t bring myself to liking even one of this guy’s records. To each their own.
Right!…same here man, I gave it a legit try…but whenever something is overly marketed to me…I’m cool on it. I don’t even think he’s wack…just marginal for the hype he’s getting….smell like a plant to me!
