21 Savage may have found himself in “a lot” of trouble.

Earlier today, the rapper was taken into custody in Atlanta by Immigration & Customs Enforcement as part of a targeted operation. According to ICE, 21’s apparently from the United Kingdom and is unlawfully residing in the United States.

ICE spokesman Bryan Cox reports 21 Savage, born Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is actually a U.K. national who legally arrived in the U.S. in 2005, but his visa expired a year later.

21 Savage, who is also convicted felon from 2014 drug charges in the U.S., has claimed himself as a Atlanta, Georgia native throughout his musical career. He is currently in custody while his lawyers continue to sort out the misunderstanding.
