Greetings Earthlings.

Lil Wayne may not be a homo sapien, but he sells records like one. Last week, his album, I Am Not A Human Being crossed the 500,000 mark. As of today, the project has accumulated 510,819 sales.

Two is not a winner, but Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being 2 will take home the silver medal this week on the Billboard charts. As far as sales go, the album clocked in 217,000 copies in its first week. Decent numbers, but no where near his previous effort of 965k with Tha Carter IV.

With the singles “My Homies Still” and “No Worries” already in rotation, Rap-Up has reported that Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being II will arrive November 13. Let’s hope it’s better than the first. UPDATE: Bad news. Rap-Up now says it arrives December 11. UPDATE 2: Not so fast. Billboard says next year.

While Lil Wayne sat in the clinker earlier this year, the good folks over at Cash Money Recordings turned Carter IV scraps into Weezy’s eighth studio album, I Am Not A Human Being. Although the project went gold and spawned the hit, “Right Above It” and “I’m Single” the overall effort lacked continuity.
