In the Big Easy for Super Bowl, Tune spoke with NOLA on his TRUKFIT women’s clothing line, Turk’s release and more. Off camera, he explained his DONDA-created cover art of I Am Not A Human Being 2.
“[Kanye] said, you know, man, let me do your cover. I saw the cover and I approved it. He had an explanation behind it – he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful. At a time it’s ugly and at a time it’s beautiful too. And that’s me.”

I like the cover because most Black Artists don’t take risks. One of the best things about Kanye is the art of his covers, and now Wayne’s doing it too. I didn’t want 2 see another baby picture.

Man, how come Kanye gets so much hype for any shitty cover he makes/approves.. I mean, I like dude’s music a lot, and he’s had a few good covers but those were not his work on earlier albums, and ever since he got that red letters on black background thing going with good friday, he is stuck with it.
This particular cover for Wayne’s album is ugly, uninspired and just a repetition of Kanye’s last 200 covers.. he could’ve done better, made something new and interesting(him or his team of designers, whoever actually does these covers).
