Out To Tax.

Picking up where they left off a year prior, Killer Mike and El-P are more unapologetic than ever on their second offering. Confronting religion, drugs, sex, and everything in between, Run The Jewels 2 boldly goes where albums have gone before, but are afraid of revisiting.

I recommend listening to the 1st one and then listening to this. This one hits you over the head immediately.

      1. diggz says:

        dope thanks I will

  2. Caposet says:

I wonder how this website will disrespect the rest of this list. This was easily the best album of last year. Lord Steppington, Pinata, and PTSD should be on this list. What albums are better than this? I know YG gonna be on this list cause B. dot sucking him. I’m sure T.I. & Jeezy will be on here. Pharrell had the best album of last year but I don’t know if it will even be on this list.

you gotta be realistic and understand indie joints just don’t have the same potency as the mainstreams, it’s an appeal thing, but in the end, who cares? we all have our own lists

  3. el jim chapo guzman says:

    I agree.

  4. jussayin says:

People keep raving about this album…i can’t stand killer mikes flow..but maybe i’ll just read the lyrics on rap genius to peep the knowledge

  5. Blake says:

Fuuuuccckkk RR is so damn corrupt. This album has literally been picked as number 1 on every other end of year list, hip hop focussed or not. Honestly, why are you guys so bias? I mean you love hip hop right? You do realize that by promoting all of this industry crap (or at least the stuff that isn’t good), you’re destroying the culture you love, right?

    1. yeah says:

You giving it relevancy by checking for it is what’s making it money, thus “destroying” the culture. News, whatever the aspect, is bias. A ranking list, is (definitelyyyyy) bias, otherwise you couldn’t make one, it’s that simple bruh

    2. Int'l J says:

Why you so mad tho? It’s not corruption, it’s opinion. No one ever agrees 100% on nothing. You can take a pool on if water’s wet and 10% will say no. You can have a politician that introduces a bill that says everyone can have whatever they want and some small group of people will disagree. That’s the way of the world, don’t take offense, just respect it. FYI, I think RTJ2 is album of the year but that’s my opinion and I respect anyone who disagrees!

  6. BasedNigga says:

This album was good but just didn’t have a mainstream appeal you can’t be number if most people who don’t know about this album. So I agree with this position. If Killer mike had a single that people gravitate towards too maybe it would list higher.

  7. Da Business says:

Didn’t see this coming. I see that RR didn’t completely by pass some solid underground joints.

  8. cenz says:

This was top 3. Y’all tripping

  9. thirtyyearoldmillionaire says:

Clearly the album of the year … culture dick riders, salaried record label employee’s and 14+ year old children and general not just white people that listen to pop hiphop …. do this test just listen to this whole album .. you will feel the following feelings… shock, anger that you’ve been lied to, disgust that you’ve easily been fooled, then relief to eventually finding good music.

  10. blackholesurfer says:

shouldeve been Number one. this album was a banger everyone was sleeping on this.

  11. DJ_Gayburn says:
