  • I really want to like this guy’s album but I find it terrible. He’s like the guy who fills in every checkbox for making it as a rapper, but lacks the fundemental skill of being a good songwriter.

      What? Did you even listen to the album? This nigga lyrically killed that shit and he got bangers on there! Theres like two wack songs on there I don’t fuck with you & play no games. Other than that, this album is good as hell and I’m not even a fan of Sean like that

      • Yeah man I gave it about 3 honest listens. But couldnt make it half way past most songs. Not only terrible song writing but his delivery and voice is annoying.

          The album is better when you know where he is coming from musically. He’s coming from the gutter, so this album has a nice inspirational touch to it because conceptually a lot of the material is about overcoming really hard defeats and learning hard lessons. Yes a few stupid tracks but this album otherwise has some strong stuff. And I typically think the same thing as you. I don’t want to like it, based on how I felt about him before, but I just felt like relatively speaking he came correct.
