A genius behind the turntables, Roc will be missed. Here’s a few words from the family of the X-Ecutioner.

Anthony Williams p/k to the world as The Legendary Grand Master Roc Raida has passed away unexpectedly today Sept 19 2009. He is survived by his wife, 3 lovely daughters, mother and friends. Raida was recently in an mixed martial arts accident, something that he has been practicing for several years. Although he had under gone 2 surgeries with great success,  was released to an inpatient physical therapy facility and was in great spirits the past few days. This morning he started to have complications and passed. The family asks for privacy at this time.

On the final leg of the Ecstatic Tour last Wednesday, the Mighty Mos took the time to support Kanye at a show in Baltimore. (clear audio above, no visual) And again in Philly the following night (muffled audio, blurry visual). Like his tourmate Jay Electronica, Dante thinks Jay Leno crossed the line and should be dealt with accordingly. Oh boy. Bring back Arsenio!

On the release date of OB4CL 2, Rae stopped by JMJ’s former studio on Merrick Blvd. in Queens. Seven years ago, Jay was murdered in the same recording facility. Seven years later, no arrests have been made.
