So before Leno got his Oprah on last night and Kanye promised a hiatus, an ABC reporter snitched that the Pres threw Mr. West under the bus in an off-the-record comment.

ABC was left with pie on the face and released this statement:
In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.

Tonight, Kanye spoke to Jay Leno about disrupting Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMA’s on Sunday. Following the incident, he says that he’s going to take some time off for a lil’ self evaluating. Sayanara, fam. Afterward he, Rihanna and Jay-Z perform “Run This Town.”
In an interview today with MUCH, 50 gives his take on Gay Fish’s stunt last night at the VMA’s. He says if ‘Ye did the same thing during his acceptance speech, he’d leave trademarks around his eye. Can’t blame him.

LOS ANGELES, CA -Patrick Swayze, whose good looks and sympathetic performances in films such as “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost” made him a romantic idol to millions, died Monday, his publicist said, according to CNN affiliate KTLA. Swayze was 57. Swayze died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. His doctor, Dr. George Fisher, revealed in early March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from the disease.
