Ma$e also visited RapFix Live earlier. He reflected on his past career, retiring and coming back. He also revealed that Puff let him out of his Bad Boy contract just days ago and officially parted ways.

“I’ve been in that contract for 16 years. Yeah, the other day he let me out of it, so big shout-outs to Diddy, I guess he woke up feeling good and he wanted to do something good.”

When asked who he would sign with, the free agent says he’d consider G.O.O.D. Music.  

“At this point, I don’t really want to be under nobody from the aspect of being tied in a long, long contract. It’s kinda like breaking up; you don’t want to jump into a new relationship. I’ma have to go somewhere. I would entertain that. I love Kanye, I love what he does musically, I love his ability to push the envelope. I like to be around people that’s not afraid to be different.”

Along with a few of his Bad Boy entourage, Puff returned to Hot 97 and spoke with Funk Flex on topping the Forbes list, Ma$e’s return, G. Dep’s murder conviction and his mansion break-in.

Bad Boy Records just got a little bigger. While on the set of French Montana’s video shoot, Diddy reveals to MTV that he signed Los to his label too. Congratulations, yo!

“It’s time for a whole new generation; it’s time for a whole new movement. So we got [Machine Gun Kelly], French Montana, Red Café; we got Cassie. We also have a new artist named Los that we signed. It’s official. We’re trying to put that young, youthful energy out in the air and do it the only way that Bad Boy can do it.”

Last week, Bad Boy took over the Big Apple to promote the new team. Here’s a look behind the scenes from their Hot 97 invasion to French’s announcement on 106. They’re everywhere, you ain’t never there.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Ohio rapper Machine Gun Kelly has officially become the newest member of the Bad Boy team. He will be prepping his debut album, Lace Up to drop later this year.

“MGK is a great addition to the Bad Boy team,” Bad Boy President, Harve Pierre said. “He speaks for a generation of kids who are just like him. Fans relate immediately to his lyrics, his flow and his energetic live performances.”
