Getting arrested three times in one day? That's the shit we don't like. Getting a feature placement on Kanye West's new album is a great look—Being behind bars isn't. Haven't we seen this movie before? This Chiraq MC and trouble are synomnous. Drive slow, young homie.
You Played Yourself
The whole 2 Chainz robbery fiasco. The culprits. Tit for initially denying it and you fuck boys on the Internet who made him feel like he should. Ain't no shame in defending yourself by fists or by feet. It ain't safe in these streets.

The MMG general is the epitome of a hustler. After dropping an acclaimed mixtape at the top of the year, Rick Ross kept the grind going into the summer before finally delivering his fifth album, God Forgives, I Don’t. William’s rags-to-riches story rings off with the riveting”Pirates” and grows more sinister on the Cool & Dre-produced “Ashamed”. The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League returns to spearhead “Maybach Music IV” while the soulful bed provided by Cardiak brought Miami’s street life to “Amsterdam”. Rozay remained in his comfort zone to serve his fellow bosses (“Hold Me Back”, “911″, “So Sophisticated”), but he also catered to the ladies with Usher and Omarion (“Touch N’ You”, “Ice Cold”). “Diced Pineapples” was succulent and sweet with Wale’s poetic thoughts and Drake’s sultry hook. Lest we forget, Rick commissions the game’s top veterans with 5 star verses from the likes of Andre 3000 (“Sixteen”) and Jay-Z (“3 Kings”). But don’t get it twisted, the man himself proves he deserves the lead role on the cinematic “10 Jesus Pieces”. Amen.

Kurtis Blow wrote the hook. Nas flipped it. And French Montana sold it. It’s an undisputed fact that Rick Ross’ Rich Forever single set hip-hop 2012 off and even ignited a beef with Drake and Common. Y’all know how we feel about Drizzy’s performance but Frenchie’s verse was also noteable since folks struggled to comprehend his opening bars. Fanute? “From the hoopty coupe to the ghost dawg.” I ride for Rozay and producer Beat Bully’s smash. Salute!

Rick Ross rung in 2012 with a bang. With a release date for God Forgives, I Don’t still a mystery, Rozay unleashed a new collection of tunes, an album before the album. We knew this was serious from the start when Sean Combs talked his shit all over the glorious “Holy Ghost”. The Teflon Don showed his true aggressiveness on “High Definition”, “MMG Untouchable” and “Yellow Diamonds”. But a major part of Mr. Roberts’ success is his ability to bring the best out of his collaborators. Nas sounds re-energized on “Triple Beam Dreams”, Styles P glides on “Keys To The Crib” and we all know what Drake did on “Stay Schemin”. Sorry Lonnie. While most artists wait until the summer to bring the impact, the MMG general took the initiative to take over, early. It was a great time to boss up.
