Apparently Pun’s wife, Eliza Rios, isn’t living the glamour life. In an interview with Ms. Drama, she divulges about living with her kids in a NYC shelter. Excluding the 116K she recived after Pun passed, she says that she hasn’t recieved any additional royalties. She also says that she hasn’t communicated with Fat Joe nor any “regular industry heads.” Man, can someone page Steve Rifkind?
She got “help” & “counseling” from Oprah & Sally Jessie Raphael??? Really? and you wonder why you can’t take care of your kids…I guess she didn’t want to work then huh???

WHy don’t women feel compelled to work to feed their kids? Like he’s dead, gone, why is she looking for his friends, or former colleagues to support her? There’s a young cat near my building in NY that I gave a buck to once. Next day after I had one of those days he was on the corner looking for change again after work. And it hit me. I just sat through a bunch of bs all day and dude just expects me to keep donating to his “i don’t want to work” charity. F’ that.
Whether she wants to work or not she and her kids deserve those royalties. That’s the bottom line. Where are the royalty checks? And Steve Rifkind doesn’t have anything to do with it. He doesn’t even own the catalog anymore. Sony owns it.
Eliza should be pursuing legal action against Sony to get the money.

This woman is detailing her struggles through an abusive relationship and now a new chapter in her life where she is trying to move on. If any of the previous people who posted have ever owned a home, or settled a deceased person’s estate, they might know that after debts are settled, bills are paid, funeral and other related costs are taken care of, there may not be much left over if at all. Also, as a NY resident, many people don’t have the courage, guidance, or knowledge to seek help. How many of you know of debt counseling programs or assistance in home purchase from the City? This woman went from living a modest lifestyle to one of flamboyance and no one in her husband’s crew apparently was equipped to counsel HIM the then main bread winner on how to take care of his family financially. I commend her for trying to get her kids what is theirs via their father, and the situation that they are in is deplorable, but not uncommon. It takes a min. of $50k/year to not be “working poor” in NYC. The measly $116k is nothing especially if you have kids to feed. I hope that she does what’s necessary to get her kids in a better situation, but would you all have said he same negative things if she were a man? I am basing my comments on this video and general knowledge of Pun’s life. I don’t have all the facts and am no judge or jury.
She needs to get a damn job or do what she has to do to make ends meet. Im a single mom as well so what makes her more special than I? There are tons of programs (that work) to help people in her situation. Some situations cant be helped but he’s been dead how long? STOP LOOKING FOR HANDOUTS!
