In a conversation with 1515 , Banks says that after listening to music overseas, it’s given him some sort of enlightenment. He mentions that he’s heavily influenced by Justin Timberlake, Lada Gaga, and could possibly be working with Will.I.Am on his next LP. Lloyd then says he can pen R&B records. Let’s just hope he doesn’t sing them.

  1. If this guy starts making some 808’s records I swear I quit life. I do feel bad for 50 tho. Banks has a bigger buzz right now than hes had since The Massacre…

  2. Oj Da Cornball says:

    ^^^
Shut your trap. He talking about writing for R&B artist, not him going Kanye. Sheesh.

  3. RAY says:

no reason to feel bad. 50cent is the one creating this buzz its not banks. 50cent staying winning, banks albums and buzz does well he cleans up. banks is signed to g-unit records don’t forget that.

  4. Dayum says:

lol why should 50 be upset, for once he doesnt have to carry the whole damn crew. Banks is being trained to hold down the fort whilst 50 ventures into Hollywood.

  5. mistahzee says:

Banks shit sells, Buck shit sells, Game shit sells
    I’m rich as hell.

  6. TEFLON DON! says:

before all the haters start to hate let’s us not forget that penning down hit record for other artist is another way of making big bucks in the music industry and some R&B artists do know how to write a rap record .The song “I’m fucking you to night” by Notorious B.I.G ft R.Kelly was written by R.Kelly .
people like the dream and ne yo makes millions of dollars just by penning down a hit record for other artist

  7. G-Unot says:

50 cant give a record away yayo sucks!! Banks is kool but u 50 dick riderz still stuck n 03 yall need a hottub time machine

  8. Dayum says:

so fans = dickriders now? Grow the hell up kid

  9. TdotHIPPY says:

I wish everyone would just stay in there lanes already. I’m one for growth especially when you’re an “artist” but doesn’t this feel like that time when 50 came out and everyone got on some gangsta shit or when ‘ye and jigga were looping soul beats and everyone did it, Auto-tune? Artists my ass

  10. mistahzee says:

music that appeals to everyone is called pop, so banks basically wants to make pop music so he can reach a wider fanbase outside of gangsta rap. i cant blame a man for wanting to that now that gansta rap is on the hospital bed.

  11. thisisnot50 says:

getting $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> impressing message board posters and rap blog commentators

if he’s comfortable and they are hot songs then do it

  12. Young Nas says:

Yeah I’m lookin’ forward to Banks album, but on a side note can you imagine how this nigga will sound on auto-tune LMAO

  13. Ricky says:

Oh, this is rich. So after G-Unit has tumbled and fallen flat on their faces in hip hop, now they’re abandoning ship for dance and R&B music? Might as well move on to greener pastures. The old formula clearly ain’t working.

  14. Frederick Douglass says:

Lloyd Banks = Steven Seagal. The same fucking bored expression on his face 24/7. He was born with that expression like “Yeah whatever, I was born. who gives a shit? Beamer Benz or Bentley, my Huggies never empty…”

  15. RAY says:

wow g-unit tumbled and has fallen wow i didn’t that know getting money all these years is tumbling and falling….you hater keep hating on another mans success. g-unit has been in the game for 7 years and has made millions and millions of dollars and your favorite raper has done what?
