No disrespect to the man, he’s been around for more than a minute….but with LL’s career status at the moment , is that who your gonna choose to promote a show? I don’t think so.
^LL stars in one of the top rated shows on TV and happens to be a hip hop legend, so yeah, it would make sense to use him to promote a show. You expect her to get Drake?

I feel like my knowledge of rap has gone down since i started reading posts by followers of blogs.. The only smart rap im into is Talib Kweli as artists like Wiz Khalifa and sorts have a long way to go before they break thru with that style.. @Bosh04 is my example.. While LL may not be coming out with rap albums anymore.. he is still america’s darling and it makes me question everyone the blog sites claim as the next top thing because they only know what is hot on the blogsphere.. not the for people as a whole.. only one segmented niche in hip hop..(joell ortiz.. Crooked I.. and such are artists that just wont make it big.. ever.. not because they are bad rappers but their voice isnt that good and they pretty much only pander to the internet groupies and its pathetic.)
He gave the interview to fox news for the show “great american stories”, at the time Sarah Palin was not set as the host. The interview is a year old, since then, the political enviorment has become more hostile than ever with both sides trying to demonize each other. Sarah Palin is obviousley one of the favorite targets whos image has been smeared the most. It’s dissapointing that LL, who has made it pretty clear in the past that he is republican, has chose to turn his back and play it safe with his fans by choosing not to associate with Sarah Palin.
Personally, I would’ve loved to watch his rags to riches story, I can’t think of anything more insipiring and more symbolic of why I love this country.
