Clearly, Dr. Dre’s not under pressure to release any new material. So the Rosenthal bros weigh in on his long awaited album, Detox. The saga continues.

BRILLIANT!! Funny as fuck.
But it’s not joke. I think that Dre has made a lot of cracking songs and paved the way for a lot of artists, but he really is over-rated as a producer. When you look at his excuses for not releasing it ages ago, he blames it on passing the beats he made for the album to other people, like Em, 50, Jay-Z etc, but even at that those songs weren’t all that!

even though most of the things you said were true (he still has some bangers with only his name on the production credit, so i wont say he cant make beats) the fact of the matter is the attraction to dr. dre is that when he feels like it, he puts out classic. The Chronic and 2001 are undeniable hip hop classics, and we want him to do it again. That’s the attraction. Great music.
