Not only does the most loved and hated monster take the cover of next month’s issue of XXL, but Kanye also penned his own cover story and creative directed a 40 page section of the magazine. Make sure you runaway to your local newsstands on September 28. Until then peep an excerpt below.

i’ve seen him 3 times in concert and every single time, he’s entertaining as fuck. his albums are great. i’m glad he’s getting the attention and, sometimes, the respect he deserves.
i really wish i could have seen him and gaga in concert. neither of them are my favorite artists… BUT, THOSE ARE THE 2 MOST INTERESTING, ENTERTAINING PEOPLE I’VE EVER SEEN.
