Now that Rihanna and Eminem will reunite on her upcoming LP, Loud, she tells Sway that she was initially against doing part two. However, after tackling numerous versions, Ri Ri explains her change of heart.
“We heard a broken-down version that was stripped down, just piano … that’s going to be a bonus on iTunes. I fell in love with it. We recorded it, then we did another version to the stripped-down version with drums, then we did another version with drums and Eminem. And then that was the one that just felt really good. I love both: I love the broken-down version, as well as the new one with Eminem”

I don’t see the point in making another one. They said on Billboard that Em’s verse is about punching someone (?) or something like that, and Em is crazy and mad. That’s what I heard. But This is what I think: Em thinks has made enough songs about Kim. He’s referred to his music as his therapy, and he made a lot of violent, “immature” songs about her, and years later he can’t just stay rapping about her all the time, cuz that would be corny. He still loves her and is still hurt. So he’s working with Rihanna on another song to release more of that energy. And it’s somethin he really feels strongly about, so…
