’10 Worst Albums: #4 Ludacris Battle Of The Sexes
There were no victors with Ludacris’ last album, Battle Of The Sexes. After scrapping the original concept with Shawnna, Luda reached out to other femcees to fill her Louboutins. Sadly, the results were less than memorable. Although the album struck gold, bronze medals go out to songs like the lead singles “How Low” and “My Chick Bad.” On the latter, Luda single handedly buries Big Sean’s patented Supa Dupa Flow with, “Couple girl friends and they all a little crazy Coming down the street like a parade (Macy’s)/ I fill her up (Balloons).” Good grief, man. Meanwhile, flat production and boring features mar cuts like “Party No Mo'”, “Can’t Live With You”, “I Know You Got A Man”, and “B.O.T.S. Radio”. Luda’s still one of the best around, but this is one battle he can’t win. Word to Bobby Riggs.

Lmao!! Okay I like the way this list is going. Album was def. trash. Luda fell the fuck off with and completely DEADED that stop-pause style of rapping (Fill her up…..balloons?) I tried my best to like this album because I consider myself a Ludacris fan. Over the years dude always ALWAYS delivered hot singles and flow was on point, dude can flow fast or slow, he can do literally any type of song from a runaway love to a my chick bad. But this album was GARBAGE. I couldnt do it, it didnt last long at all on my ipod or even my itunes at all. Took that shit straight off my computer. GTFOH Luda, Ludaversal better be some classic Luda shit. Leave the little kid flow to Nicki Minaj and YM.

Right. I remeber this nigga brought Jay and Nas together on that track from Theater of the Mind. Great track. Great album, that was his last good one which was just before this album i think so he aint too far off. I feel like dude gonna get back on track with Ludaversal

This album was terrible. Don’t know why Luda was so determined to go all mainstream bubble-gum pop, he used to be one the best.
