Lupe “The Show Goes On” Hits Platinum

A month after Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers debuted at number one, his lead single, “The Show Goes On” has earned him another platinum plaque. This mark’s Lupe’s second single to surpass a million in sales. The first being 2007’s “Superstar.” Congratulations.

    I was skeptical of Lasers at first, especially after reading all the negative shit, but go back and give it another listen, almost every song is fire. Sure it’s not Food & Liquor, but at least he’s showing versatility. There’s enough Waka and Nickelback-style artists out there already that have no versatility and produce music that all sounds the same.
