After Mobb Deep reunited with Nas on “Dog Shit”, Havoc tells HHDX that he, Prodigy, and Esco plan on working on an album. Whoa. On behalf of rap fans everywhere…
“We’re gonna do a Mobb Deep and Nas album. It hasn’t begun but we tipped the iceberg a little bit with the ‘Dog Shit.’ I think as we was working, doing songs back and forth with Nas recently, I think it was just a mutual thought, like, ‘Yo, let’s make a fucking album.’ Everybody was like, ‘Yeah, that would be dope. Fuck it, what we waiting for? Let’s do it.’”

Damn rumor has Common and Nas have recorded material for a full album….not including “Ghetto Dreams” and now Havoc of Mobb Deep is stating they would like to do a full album with Nas…this is getting very interesting!
Nah fuck that, I want a solo album from Nas. The only Nas collabo album that I would buy is another one with Damian Marley. Fuck Mobb Deep.

Thats your opinion. Washed up or not, thats not gonna stop them from making music. Dont like it? Dont listen to it when it comes out. I know hella Mobb Deep and Nas fans thats pumped. And how Nas washed up when he just had a Gold album just a couple years ago?

anyone who knows Nas knows that this will never happen. He’s my favorite MC ever but this won’t happen cuz thats just the way Nas does. He says things in passing and guys like Hav and Preme run with it cuz they wanna work with Nas more than Nas really wants to work with them.

As far as Mobb Deep being washed up, will let this album be the judge of that, cause the last song I heard from them was DIrty New Yorker off the GTA IV soundtrack and it was not that bad. However, Nas being washed up? Absolutely not! No lie that distant relatives album was disappointing, but to say that he has not put out hot shit since either is absurd. God Son, Street Disciple and untilted, which by the way created a nation wide buzz about the N-word. Nas is still relavent like his arch-rival Hov, and till this day Nas still has the best discography in the hip hop game!
I pray to the most high this is not just a rumor….. this would be the craziest album of the year by far… If this comes true im buying three copies haha 1 for P 1 for hav and 1 for nas
