N.O.R.E. Disbands C-N-N

After 15 years (and one reunion), Noreaga is calling it quits with partner Capone. Yesterday, N.O. broke the news that he wants to focus on his solo career. Ain’t nothin wrong with that.

I’m not making another war report album or another N.O.R.E ALBUM IMMA MAKE THE 1st S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G album cause that what’s good for now.

Diddy my homey can’t and would never diss him but he was known for anthems and hits it’s safe to say Khaled has been upholding that area.

CNN was a great group. Time has changed I must move on. Doesn’t it hurt to watch a boxer still box when he’s heart isn’t in it that’s what the group feels like right now.

  2. O.G. says:

They put out there classic The War Report in 1997 at the same time Ross was working in a prison and they still both younger than him.

  3. Hugo says:

This is the best thing for NORE cant be hanging around no snitches

  4. Post no billz says:

Too bad more is so garbage now in days.. his voice don’t even sound the same.. his flows off beat and lyrics are barkley turrible.. capone is trash too..

  5. CantGetRight says:

Im not 1 to delve into the rumors but um…..this would happen right after those snitch allegations came out about Capone. I only say that because during the whole time Capone has been out of jail,Nore didnt mind doin solo material as well as the CNN material, but now he just wants to focus on his solo work? Somethings fishy

  6. Mr. 3-Times says:

@ 31 I can’t imagine tryna build with niggas I ran with when I was 14-16. I can understand N.O. watnting to move on. Respect to him for coming out and publicly admitting it.

  7. brutally honest says:

Wow,I’m guessing he trying to build up the Thugged Out label situation as well; Capone is a solo artist under the brand

  8. Your mother's "friend" says:

“Doesn’t it hurt to watch a boxer still box when he’s heart isn’t in it that’s what the group feels like right now” he could say the same about his solo career , either way i always thought he was overrated

  15. Your Father says:

To be honest, NORE would have been a star if it wasn’t for him also concentrating on CNN.
Never been a fan of Capone’s delivery.
    He’s been holding NORE back.
Glad he’s doing his thing now, though.
This move is for the better.

  16. Dashing says:

    I see B.Dot’s point.

Nore was not overrated because no one ever put him up there as one of the best(not that they should have). BUT He had a bunch of hits(“Superthug” “Nothin” “Grimey” “N.O.R.E” “Banned from TV” “Oye Mi Canto”), a really great debut solo album, a classic album in War Report and no on ever really gave him his props. So how is he possibly overrated?

Likewise with Bow Wow, he came in as a kid rapper, made a ton of hit records, sold well, then got older, continued to make hits, but has always gotten written off cause he started out as a kid. And people still see him as a kid despite the fact that he’s been in the game longer than a lot of these dudes that people automatically give credibility to that have accomplished less (i.e. Drake, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, etc). So he definitely is underrated in that sense.

But he’s in a tough spot musically. If he goes too hard, people will say he’s pretending to be something he isn’t. If he stays doing the soft stuff for the ladies, he’ll still have the credibility issues.

  17. coco loco says:

capone is a snitch. imam thug is a clown, nore a fat fuck, cnn been over, nobody want to hear these old 40 year old dudes, fall back ODD FUTURE is here…

  22. Gusto says:

I can understand it but I still think it’s a shame we won’t get that War Report 2 or Report The War, whatever they were calling it…. time to throw that classic War Report in the decks and give it some burn then. G

  23. Odeisel says:

War Report 2 was dope because Capone got busy. Nore is just not that good a rapper by himself. Too bad they broke up cause Capone lacks the charisma to win and Nore lacks the talent. together it works

  24. 2welve says:

does any of this even matter !?! dudes are like 50yrs old! ….. next!
