And rappers singing/crooning/harmonizing in their raps has been going since the 80’s. KRS-One did it in “The Bridge Is Over”. Slick Rick did it on “Mona Lisa” and “LaDi DaDi”. Erick Sermon did it on “So What Cha Saying”. Ol’ Dirty Bastard used to fucking sing all the time!!! So why is such a big deal now?
