I always laugh when niggas call an album a classic before that shit is even out yet. And coming from a nigga like TYGA?!?!? CLASSIC?!?! Whats with them always pushing the album back? Why even give a date if its not all done yet? Rappers have to be more patient. Just wait for the album to be all done, give the date, and hand it in as late as you can to stop bootleggers. Young Money seems like trash to me though (besides Drake).

Niggas use the word CLASSIC to much in hip-hop. Everyone who put out an album this year said that shit. Do you niggas know what CLASSIC means? A CLASSIC is album that you can 5 to 10 years from now and it still be relevant. A CLASSIC is album that you can play from begining to end without have to skip a song. There was only 4 classics that came out in 2011: The Thone “Watch The Thone”, J. Cole “Cole World: The Sideline Story”, Drake “Take Care”, and Childish Gambino “Camp”.
Pushin back albums is now a marketing tool. The shits prolly been done forever but this builds buzz and increases… anticipation. So when it DOES drop, people (in their mind) will go snatch up that shit before it gets pushed back out of reach again -or- just puts the idea in people’s mind that there is an album on the way.. and be waiting for it. Young Money loves “pushing back” albums.

I actually like Tyga, but I can already tell you this album isn’t going to perform well. “Far Away” was about as perfect you can get as far at mainstream pop-appealing singles go, and it flopped. He had the biggest rap artist in the game at the current moment (Emphasis on the “Current Moment” part) featured on his 2nd single “Still Got It” and it flopped too. Tyga has no buzz going for his album right now, rather the music is actually good or not. Wayne, Nicki, & Drake are the only ones out of the current YMCMB roster that will ever even go Gold, let alone platinum.
