The movie sounds aweful. I have written novels and working on a movie script; movie that actually are comprehensive and full length. People say Kanye’s hood and stuff, his mom was a doctor and college professor. All that happened was she bought him some music equipment at a young age and he was able to make some beats and get familiar with the tools he had. Then he got his way paid to a private art school. Kanye’s not as talented as you think, he can make some beats and that came from a lifetime of having resources and everything needed to play (and not having to concern with contacts or means for survival). He’s not entitled to as much credit as he gets. Nothing about his story plot should be seen as competent; absolutely a novice film, regardless of the visual experience.
@calamitycal who the fuck says kayne is hood. Didn’t he grow up in china at one point, lol. People love him cuz he’ s beast in the studio and also he still relevant.
That was my opinion, and I’ve heard people say he was hood like radio personalities. Yeah you’re right. Good that Kanye’s doing something and staying diverse. Can’t argue with your redirections.

Hey, I can’t knock Kanye, he’s doing great stuff, I guess what I was wanting to emphasize was that he has mastered technology he had, like beat machines; hes really great today. Can’t be mad at him for his moms success, he’s building a strong legacy by himself.

Smh at people saying the film is wack. There ARE FILM GENRES outside of brainless-the-president-is-gonna-get-killed-we-gotta-save-him action movies. Yu ever seen an Arthouse film? Prolly not. And even if yu did, yu’d prolly say “it’s a bunch of random shit”.
That’s like saying Salvador Dali paintings are a “bunch of a random shit” just cuz you’re simple minded and don’t understand what the artist saw in the picture.
And yeh^^ I agree. If someone woulda described “Runaway” in a paragraph it woulda sounded just as crazy. Look how good it turned out. Just becuz no-one else in Hip Hop tries to be different, doesn’t mean Kanye is trying “to hard”.
