As part of 2-Cent‘s lecture series at Xavier University, Lupe explains to Mannie the background of his name, industry politics, the state of Hip-Hop and the direction he plans to take with the album after Food & Liquor 2, tentatively titled, The Cooler.
Lamborghini Angels drops August 14th! Can’t wait!!!
Marko-V says:
I don’t know about Lupe’s vision for the future of Hip-Hop. If you listen to Pandora and just notice the differences in the selections of music when you type in a Hip-Hop act you can easily see how the music has grown and will continue to grow into different genres. A 2chainz station won’t play the same thing a Dom Kennedy station does and Pandora or Spotify shows the future of radio. So something coming along to overpower Hip-Hop seems far fetched. It will only diversify.
Goat
