Slaughthouse got plenty of promotion. They were on 106 & Park, every radio show and had a bunch of videos made. The guys are some of the best lyricists around but they can’t write hits. I don’t mean they should “dumb down” but they can’t connect to a big audience. Some artists have it and some don’t. They put out a sub-par album that was trying to cater to an audience that they could possibly reach but only by being themselves.
Hope the next album is better and they keep moving forward because they are a good group. Just need to learn to connect better and they don’t need every member on every track either!

How did Interscope ‘sabotage’ anything? This thing was hyped up the ass for over a year… Tons of stories, three horrible singles, videos, tours (and Slaughterhouse suck live, so they don’t make any new fans that way), PAYOLA on hip-hop websites, Eminem coming out of his cave to co-sign…
Slaughterhose had every opportunity in the world and their lousy music and vapid lyrics (using too many words per song doesn’t make you ‘lyrical’) and non-existent songwriting talent did them in…
Not Interscope, who didn’t want to sign them in the first place but Jimmy I was humoring Marshall…
Funny: Cee Lo made more $$$ off this album than the band or the label!!
