It’s crazy that by the early 2000s, Nas and Black Thought had never met…
It all started when they did the Jay-Z Unplugged show for MTV and they played Takeover.
That’s precisely what the beef was about. Black Thought came on the radio and said that Nas is taking it out on him and he wasn’t even at the Jay-Z show, it was Quest.
I always thought that Black thought threw Questlove under the bus with that one. Lol.
