  16. BASED PROPHET!! says:

Lupe quoted T-Rex the battle rapper LOL

    This song was alright,nothing major.

  17. brollya says:

i was feeling it in the beginning but it kept gettin worse verse to verse…..

  18. the brain trust says:

The song is an example of a great concept which was VERY poorly executed.

The beat sounds both basic & messy. The drums or sequencing is off (like it doesn’t know where it wants to go).

Ross sounds like he was bored outta his mind & spat elementary (but thought provoking) bars.

Lupe was good LYRICALLY, but didn’t flow particularly well on the beat.

Wale’s flow wasn’t great either. Dude really needs to how pronounce phrases….and choose words that actually rhyme. Also, his verse seemed to end unexpectedly.

  19. j1 says:

Yall smokin reggie if you think this is wack, this is dope as fuck, what do yall want if it aint kendrick cole or pusha yall niggas act deaf! this is good msuic g everybody killed it even wale lol

  27. Facts says:

    @ rz

    No exaggeration

    Life’s a bitch hanh

  28. STINKMEANER says:

  31. As Real As it Gets says:

Three out of the few that still think lyrics matter. I hate the cop like the next man but this joint is hard. Dude just lost a multimillion dollar deal because of a bad line in a rhyme. This track is so relevant at this point of his career. Whoever critisized this should check the next three posts. Straight baffonary coonary at its best. First the artist and now the fans.

  32. The Facade says:

What a huge surprise the only non MMG guy had the best verse

  33. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

Thats funny William’s “Mastermind” album has been mighty quiet. Just out of nowhere “Selfmade 3” coming out in AUG.

  34. rz says:

@ Facts yup life is truly a bitch Ross never went Platinum but he got more money thn Jeezy lol Ross letting his niggas eat they touring gettin endorsements etc wtf Jeezy doin for his? Ask Freddie Gibbs

  35. yeaHOE says:

This is decent, the only way you could dislike this song is if you already generally dislike Lupe, Ross, or Wale.

I wonder what the story behind this is though, obviously has something to do with MMG being Lupe’s new label mates.

This is kind of average overall but it’s for a compilation album so, eh.

  36. RashadP says:

  39. KAYANDGEE says:

    dope nothing less

  40. Word says:

Why does the beat sound like that?? I thought my computer was playing another song in the background with how off beat the some elements of this beat sound.

Other than that its cool though. Thats all I can ever say about Ross music these days. Its cool but nothing mind blowing. Not like Ashton Martin Music or previous songs. But this is cool.

  41. […] Monday. So many MMG releases. God Is Great with Rockie Fresh, Wale and Rihanna’s Bad Remix, Poor Decisions track and now this Oil Money Gang track have all been released today. I guess this is the MMG […]

  44. TruthBeTold says:

Lupe always comes with good substance , there’s no difference here !

Verse was nice , but for some reason i’m not hearing the hunger in the way he flows any more to give it that WOW factor .
I haven’t really heard Lupe spit with real hunger since F&L

    Just an observation

    Nice track all in all

  45. Mano17 says:

All u lame ass niggas need to stop hatin and respect da grind and if u niggas had a chance to switch places wit any nigga on mmg u would do it in a heartbeat

  46. jamesrowdy29 says:

Great song they just use the word nigga too much which takes away from the substance, good song nonetheless but way too much nigga is in this song, term of endearment my ass.

    Poor brothas making rich decisions.

  49. RRCoolJ says:

    @Word

I thought I was going crazy. I was checking my itunes and spotify to see what other song was playing. Hope they fix that before the album comes out…but nonetheless, amazing verse by Lupe.

  50. The Wise says:

Classic right here..this is what mmg is suppose to be doin..an so much props for luoe remaining him an not switchin his style to fit with mmg..he murked the track overall classic straight up

  51. LikeJordan45 says:

Why does the beat sound like that?? I thought my computer was playing another song in the background with how off beat the some elements of this beat sound.

@Word same thing I said. Overall a pretty wack song with an okay Lupe verse, a bored Ross verse and a mush mouth overly self impressed Wale verse. Only worth a replay for Lupe’s verse…but barely.

nice surprise to see emcees who are generally viewed as ‘universes apart’ work together. back in the day it wasn’t too unusual to see these kind of collabos, so refreshing to see it happening again.

and yes, lupe stood out, not just in terms of content..this is pretty important, because we’re often told conscious emcees are not as hot as others…

  54. TJP says:

I had to listen to Ross’ verse just so I could hear how much Lupe destroyed him.

    FNF UP!

  55. Observer21 says:

Wale said: “…when she end up on your knob cause she never been adored..”

stop it folks, Lupe does indeed rap circles around Le’ on the track but lets not discount the wordplay from the genuis…

Why do folks hate Ross, I’ll never understand, all these rap niggas lie.. what matters is which one you all are willing to listen to.

Ross knows how to win and the hate only fuels it!

    Oh yeaa #TheGifted 6/25 scums

  56. TJP says:
