No, just learned and experienced. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about music knows that the 80’s were the death knell in Stevie Wonder’s career.
The irony is he pioneered the usage of the synthesizer with both his ‘Talking Book’ and ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’ album, on songs like ‘Superstition’ and ‘Village Ghetto Land’, but when music went entirely digital, Stevie Wonder (like Joni Mitchell and many others) did not make the adjustment well. In fact, Stevie Wonder made the worst music of his career. Both ‘Part Time Lover’ and “I just called To Say I Love You” were big hits but against the actual quality of his prior music, the were absolute trash.
