Stalley made his return to the Breakfast Club. He spoke lyricism in the game, LeBron, Kevin Love and Manziel going to Cleveland, relationship with Rick Ross, the Wale and Meek controversy and of course his upcoming release, Ohio on October 28.

His lyrical content is on point. My gripe with him is production. He tends to rap on slow tempo beats, and that come across as boring. Sometimes. Plus, he chooses complex titles, and that SADLY is sometimes a liability in Hip-Hop music. He comes across as being too philosophical/intellectual.
But generally speaking, Stalley’s lyrics are meaningful. Check out songs such as:

I’m going to check them out just to be objective, but I’ve literally never been impressed by dude’s lyrical ability & his flow is often annoying. I’ll give those select tracks a chance…but still you called him one of the BEST lyricists & I’m pretty sure my opinion isn’t going to change on that front
The first track is kind of boring & doesn’t really solidify him as a strong lyricist. Just realized I’ve heard that 2nd song and it’s God awful…and the last track I just didn’t like his flow but it’s a decent song. Ehh, basically I stick to my guns this nigga is not a “next level” lyricist, just average. 1st track has a stupid hook but out of the 3 I would say that it at least a little replay value….
