Not another sorry 4 the wait I wish he would have waited s mh trust me guys this will be more ass than the first one

  9. Ced says:

Idgaf what nobody says. Wayne’s lil twitter rant talmbout he doesn’t want to be on Cash Money is a marketing strategy. He had to pull some type of stunt to generate buzz for Carter V because the music he was releasing sure wasn’t doing it.

    1. Greenbergs says:

a fucking stupid and weird one at that..

      1. Ced says:

You can’t imagine Cortez Bryant, Wayne, & Birdman plotting a ploy such as this knowing controversy sells and ppl believe everything they’re told to believe?

        1. Greenbergs says:

i said its a fucking stupid ploy and a weird one at that, u gotta guilty conscience homie, relax…

          1. Ced says:

Guilty conscious? Wtf are you talking about?

          2. Greenbergs says:

i said basically what you were saying, or insinuated it, and you automatically thought i was on the defensive…

    2. bronxbillyunz says:

      GOTTA POINT THERE…

    3. Dafuq says:

Yup. This ain’t no coincidence. These marketing tactics are tired out.

      Nobody gives a fuck, Barney.

    4. PettyNigga says:

Whether it is true or not Lil Wayne don’t need no buzz for C5 he has a following that is going to buy it. He sold a million first week twice that was not on accident C5 may not do the same numbers but I bet he can do 400k easy. I don’t buy it is a strategy Wayne don’t seem the type to that.

      1. Ced says:

No way 400k ppl buying that CD based off the music he released. He doesn’t even have a single on the billboard charts.

      2. Dafuq says:

you’re right on that first point. He has a core audience that will buy it, unless they grew out of it.

Just saw that he’s only 32 years of age. Fuck. Seems like he’s old in music years lol.

      3. JetVet718 says:

        Music industry very different now

    5. polopolo1 says:

Lol no I doubt it, trouble in paradise is never a good look in the eyes of the people. Besides wayne has the following, I doubt he even needs any crazy type of buzz

    6. Huh? says:

I think you cats take the phrase “controversy sells” and just assume that niggas sit around looking to create ANY controversy because it will automatically mean a platinum plaque. I’ll believe this was contrived when I see Birdman on the 1st single of C5, but until then it just seems like genuine grief that spilled over. Is ANYONE more excited for C5 now than you were before the Twitter rant? Didn’t think so…not to mention there are much smarter to promote yourself or drum up controversy, feels like u niggas just want an easy answer

  10. yorapper says:

Sound like a marketing plan to me.

  11. Pill_Cosby says:

Stunt, stunt, stunt, just put out this garbage called the Carter 5 and get it over with.

  12. bronxbillyunz says:

THIS MIGHT BE A MARKETING PLAN AFTER ALL MAN… WHO KNOWS – I SAY THAT BCZ THEY SAW TYGA GETTIN SHINE WHEN HE SPOKE OUT, SO THEY PROLLY SAID ” FUCK IT” WEEZY SCREAM “RAPE” & WE JUS DROP THIS SHIT 1ST QUARTER.. – HE STILL SCRAPE IN THE POT BKA RICH GANG – THEY PROLLY SCRAPPED CARTER V & HES GOING WIT A NEW SOUND – I CA SEE THAT –

  13. M.E.C.C.A, says:

Whoever believes that lil wayne wants off the label and blah blah blah is still waiting on the porch for their dad who said they will be right back from the store.

Hahahaha mixtape weezy bout to stir up the pot!

  14. DynamoJack says:

this is all turning out like the perfect stage play.

  15. i rather his tapes than his albums at this point he kills these current beats most of the time…10 dollars and a pay pal all you need let me know if you are interested

  16. Jay says:

Whatever wyane drops has to be street or he will lose a lot of fans

  17. mokgethwa says:

Weezy is realizing the danger of giving Yung Thug too much momentum, so he needs to get hot again fast, coz he sees the more Thugger grows the more of an upper hand Baby will have in their relationship.

  18. PettyNigga says:

Ain’t Nobody checking for Lil Wayne

    1. mokgethwa says:

Yep, that’s why he is turning back to the mixtape Weezy to remind the world why they used to love him again.

      1. PettyNigga says:

I mean Wayne use to be dope but his his first two singles that was Drake assisted was on point but I am not feeling the lox song. I hope this mixtape would prove me wrong but I doubt it.

  19. el jim chapo guzman says:

i think Wayne living cashmoney is a publicity stunt.

    1. Michael Ib bett says:

Blame the label. Get more hype for the mixtape, get more hype for the album. Sounds right

      1. el jim chapo guzman says:

        You on point Michael.

        1. Honestly says:

          seems pretty random.

“Hey pleighboi let’s start a fake beef so people will be interested in your music instead of actually dropping music to get people interested in your music this time”

          “Sure daddy, whatever u say!”

          *takes to Twitter*

just sounds like a dumb fucking idea that only comes off as a good idea to paranoid rap fans after the fact. If that was a publicity stunt it’s among the most half baked publicity stunts I’ve ever heard

  20. Schwagg132 says:

Wayne killed the ENTIRE 2014 and 99% of y’all mfs loved him thru it he put out one song that nobody like (Start a fire) and y’all jumped back off the bandwagon y’all niggas irri.

  21. ilexx says:

So ppl are actually excited about this Sorry For The Wait 2?!? Shit was literally trending on twitter last night and it was scary to me, ppl are excited for the 2nd installment of a tape that was TRASH! Shit is crazy.

If u didn’t think Sorry For The Wait was trash then u are apart of the problem. When I heard Sorry For The Wait, I knew C4 was gonna be BS and it was, just like everything since. So hopefully if Wayne does drop this then he will step the bars up back to No Ceilings days. Which if u ask me, that was the last time Wayne was any good.

    1. Just saying says:

I was going to make that Sorry For The Wait point and agree with everything you said. The 1st one was HORRIBLE & Wayne hasn’t dropped a hot disc since No Ceilings. Just co-signing

    2. 3.8Student says:

Couldn’t agree more. He’s just putting out trash and people like it just because its wayne. Used to be good, garbage now with meaningless lyrics and barely even rhymes shit, and when he does its nigga or changing the sound of another word just to make it rhyme.

  22. sorryforthekeepwaiting says:

young money aint been hot or sold an album that baby didnt buy since 2010. shelvin tyga when they shoulda shelved that bullshit minaj puts out. whole label is a joke. no shit you’re goin bankrupt buying 500k copies of your own fuckshit every month lolol

    1. GetReal says:

they cant shelve minaj she’s a bigger brand than that label is

  23. Honestly says:

I don’t get why people call this a “publicity stunt” simply because would you set up a publicity stunt this clumsy and non-sensical? Hype C5 for a whole year & then at the last minute decide to start a fake beef so u can drop Sorry For the Wait 2 (after Sorry for the Wait 1 was critically panned) & somehow this is all going to give Wayne more momentum/intrigue? In addition to all the reports coming out that Wayne/Birdman have had a stressed relationship for a long time & the countless reports that Cash Money pulls this “withold royalties/album release date” stunt with all their artists for YEARS. All the evidence suggests this is just a messy situation yet cats think it makes more sense that it’s just for “publicity” because “there’s no such thing as bad publicity”? Seems like shitty reasoning to me…

  24. Pebble$ says:

Man idk what y’all are talking about.. Wayne’s mixtapes are better than his albums (with the exception of carter 1) SFTW was dope to me… better than the Carter 4…

  25. disqus_h2OSbI1Gto says:

WAYNE OWES BIRDMAN 4 MORE ALBUMS, WAYNE TRIED TO MAKE C5 2. BIRDMAN AINT HAVIN IT, HE EATIN OFF ALL EM FOR AS LONG AS HE CAN

    #FINESSETHAWORLD

  26. JSmooth says:

Lol all yall got my boii Wayne messed up dint matter about his singles I bet his album go hard and people gonna be all over it
