C’mon… Gunplay has more talent but isn’t gonna blow up most likely and YG is good but we’ll see if he can hit the real mainstream which I don’t even want necessarily. I lost some respect for B. U kno who the real 6th man is? kevin Gates! He personifies Hip Hop wen in its essence because he has his own voice delivery lyrical content and grind, plus Wendy Day helpin him kp his money straight in this new age. Let’s talk numbers tho. His video views and mixtape downloads either surpass it are up there wit Migis and Thuga Thugga. The only reason he not Gettin radio AirPlay is becuz he’s independent (by choice). Dude jus killed the tour circuit and his interviews are widely respected and highly viewed. Flat out dude is an all around Hip Hop personality spawning slogans like I Don’t Get Tired and Penitutuary Rules Apply. Plus the music is gud and not cookie cutter. If somebody sound like Kevin Gates we can tell they been influence by him directly.
