I never said he’s the best, I said he one of the best.
Take a look @ ur original post, my G.
I take that back, he’s one of the best OK.
I fux w/ it.
he best in NY right now…cant deny facts
Ha
Ha’ go check your facts before you speak speak me son.
The Neptunes, Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz, Kanye, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, RZA, Dilla, & Dr. Dre are all better and frankly have contributed more to hip-hop than Salaam Remi.
Caposet you fuckin crazy salaam remi produce hits for Nas, Usher, Amy Winehouse, Miguel, Whitney Houston, Leona Lewis, and many others. Remi was also nominated for a Grammy in 2012 for Producer of the Year and he has been Executive Vice President of AR/Production at Sony Music since 2012 nigga.
Annnnnd as the man said. “to Hip Hop”
Shut up chicken little.
Pharrell has won producer of the year at the Grammy’s twice and has made hits for Madonna, Usher, Jay-Z, The Rolling Stones, Britney Spears, and many many more. Also has hits of his own. Salaam Remi never has and never will have a song as big as Happy. Also Salaam Remi doesn’t have anything to his name as cohesive and as good as Hell Hath No Fury.
Why you comparing salaam against Pharrell? I clearly said salaam is one of the best.
hes a good producer, but he produced some duds for Nas…
Yeah, him and Nas seem like a forced pairing most of the time. Made You Look is a classic in my books, though.
Really good interview, Cipha had to mess it up because he had to leave. Hope they do Part 2 because they were getting deep.
New compression and mastered sound on this podcast! IMHO
