In celebration of 50th anniversary of Marvin Gaye’s iconic album, What’s Going On, Grammy-nominated producer Salaam Remi reworks the classic with Save The World: Remix Suite .

At four tracks, Salaam puts his spin on “Save the Children,” as well as its B-side “Sad Tomorrows,” an early version of “Flying High (In the Friendly Sky)”. Remi also reimagines the timeless holiday cut, “I Want To Come Home For Christmas,” and also provides an unreleased Marvin Gaye instrumental, “No Need,” taken from “Sad Tomorrows”.

Additionally, on January 28, 2022, Motown UMe will release the original What’s Going On album in a 2LP, 180gm anniversary edition, which will be mastered and include an additional disc featuring mono single mixes and four rare cuts making their vinyl debut.
