The chorus could have been a bit better but overall bar wise and lyrics Los killed this. It amazes me how people love to mention Drake, Kendrick & Cole has the top level illest spitters when actuality King Los holds that crown. Granted he doesn’t have any sales but really rapping wise nobody is seeing him.
Its a difference between making good music and just spitting a bunch of hot bars. The people gonna buy into it if its good relatable music. I was a Los fan back in the LV giftpack days but he doesn’t make quality original music so theres a ceiling. All those people you listed are potent rappers that can lace a chart topping hit
I NEVER understood why young niggas wanna ever throw shots at the throne. Hov didn’t get Crowned King by accident, he did the work. Los CAN rap his ass off. NO QUESTION. But you need a “Reasonable Doubt” a “Hard Knock Life” a “Blueprint” at least a “Black Album” or “American Gangster” to get what Hov got.
Not just a buncha bars. That’s like having the skill to put up 40 everynight, but NEVER winning the chip.
