  7. ChargedUp says:

Getting bodied by a singing nigga

  8. Mercedes300 says:

Meek you could have kept this to yourself…. Ask Nicki she would have told you the same..

  9. Iamstillmusic says:

Drake got exposed about his ghostwriting but one cares to address that. Meek and Drakes disses’ we’re both weak but Meek wasn’t lying.

Drake isn’t 100% authentic. Watch the new Belibers try to defend their hero justifying the ghostwriters

    1. Belize says:

I wonder if those are Drake lyrics Quintin is reciting. I know I’ve seen rappers get faded and flow around in circles tryna figure out the best way to flow to song. Who knows tho

      1. Iamstillmusic says:

And you proved my last comment right, stop tryna defend this man. He has ghostwriters, live with it

        1. Belize says:

Ain’t nobody read your comment brah

          1. private says:

Leave the dude, he has been on here since Tryna hate on Drake to no avail

      2. private says:

Exactly!!! Where the fuck will Quentin get the lingo Woes from, it is Toronto slang

        1. Chronic says:

          Cause the dudes from Canada

      3. Chronic says:

Ok so let’s say best case scenario drake writes his shit…he still needs a guy to lay out exactly how to rap that shit? Just doesn’t add up

        1. Belize says:

Man..probably. My experience (by the way I’m trash..just fuck around when I young shyt) is rappers either write dope shyt and have the worst flows (kinda like a poet not being able to say it live) or have crazy flows but have. Abcdefg raps. It’s very few that have both and those are the ones that become great locally or nationally. Maybe Drake is a bit of the first…can write great (ala Alecia Keys) but needs inspiration when using flows so he doesn’t sound the same on every track

          1. Chronic says:

I get that, but I’m just saying that takes away from his credentials of being top 5 of the new generation, in my opinion at least

    2. Fatty Smokes says:

I need proof he got pissed on lol

    3. thatsthatsbucko says:

Nas had j Electronica but niggas still call him the g.o.a.t ……………………

  10. Joni says:

Not one quotable !! Not one !!
Only question is that there is more reference tracks out there and we shouldn’t overlook that either !

    1. Iamstillmusic says:

Diddy almost caught a domestic when he slapped that bitch

He let TI piss on him??

      1. T says:

If that’s the quotable then Meek in trouble….

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

You didn’t hear the Know Yourself being rapped by another person. Meek can’t win with yall

          1. T says:

But the reference RICO joint is the talk, and that shit I terrible… I thought Flex was going to drop a serious record but it wasn’t one.. Meek’s mixtapes and first album will always be considered a win to me, so he can win with me… I’m not “y’all”…. But his new shit is over hyped with riding Nicki’s coat tail, the Chris Brown song and trying to rap against a rapper like Drake who is ten times better, the music speaks for itself…. Meek can’t be considered a battle rapper is his best lines are the lines you call quotable… Battle Rappers make you catch the holy ghost with their raps, not hit the pause button…. What will Meek say about Drake no one has, T.I. friend peed on someone? Lol what straight man pees on someone? That’s gay shit…. Shouts out the gays though, no discrimination

          2. Iamstillmusic says:

I feel you bro, but niggas on Twitter and this site fuck ride so hard that even if Meek Ethered him, they would find a way to call Drake the winner.

What is hip hop coming to

          3. T says:

But Ether is classic just like Hit Em’ Up, if Meek comes with that type of heat we might have a real battle on or hands… But if Drake drops something better then “Stay Schemming” it’s over

          4. SniffMybAss says:

yeah but how can anyone prove thats real? like its just an audio clip? for all we know it coulda been recorded after by someone who sounds similar to give meek some ammo

          5. Iamstillmusic says:

How would Meek the video? Even if the video came out, Drake has already won in your books so let it go

          6. Itsastyles says:

But why tho?! I’ve never seen someone with so much animosity towards an artist they’ve most likely never met. You say everyone here is biased, but you’re just as biased man. How do you know he has ghost writers, and why do we have to live with it?! All jokes aside, no bullshit my boy interns at Lakehouse Studios in Asbury NJ and he’s worked with those engineers, and he learned that drake has a team of writers for his SONGS, the ones he sings on. And even in his documentary when he first came out, you see that. That’s how he’s always been man. But with those tracks, that’s exactly what they are…REFERENCE tracks. The quality wasn’t even that great, and you can even hear a crew of people talking, laughing in the background. Who’s to say he wasn’t structuring the song for Drake?! Now from QUENTIN MILLERS statement, drake had that tape finished before he even contacted him. But he did say that he gave creative insight on some some songs…So no one other than Drake, QM and that OVO squad know what really was…So QM’s statement is the closest to the truth were gonna get right now until further notice. But I’ll tell you one thing, NO ONE from either camp, or any outside of the camp has said anything about it. No one important at least. And they really can’t because the majority of those people whether Rappers OR Singers have all had ghost writers. JayZ Kanye Nicki herself, TI, Ludacris, even Eminem meng. So I’m just saying, I get people don’t like drake, (which I am a drake fan 100%, but I’m also a meek fan, a little less now), but everything he does doesn’t have to be speculated. You say we look for every reason to let him win, but you guys equally go as hard trying to give him an L, even if it doesn’t deserve it. With this little riff he’s got here with meek, dude is a genius and is keeping it so simple. In 4-5 he was as meticulous and malicious as he was. And that was the best response meek could come up with?! Before on drakes post, you said he had a few quotable a or something like that, but were quick to use those weak meek reference?! Those didn’t even compare to the FACTS Drake said towards or about meek you know?! Like he literally bullied meek, and brushed him off. Whether you’re fans of them or not…They’re not even in the same league or on the same pedestal and meek HAS to understand that, and be a little smarter. This ain’t no Smack DVD type shit…

          7. Iamstillmusic says:

Good argument, I respect it. But you have to understand that I’m a Drake fan too but I’ve never rocked with Drakes persona, I always saw him as fake.

He makes undeniable good music but in reality if he isn’t writing hose songs I have to lose respect for him. If someone told me Hov didn’t write the Blueprint I would lose respect for him too.

The real question is, if everyone in the industry knew that Drizzy Disney write his own raps, why is Drake upset about it. Why didn’t he brush it off. And you still see people defending him like he wasn’t exposed

My main concern has always been the authenticity of hip hop, I don’t want ghost writing to be accepted no matter who did it

          8. H¥dro says:

Luda, T.I., and Eminem are all well known for writing their own lyrics come on now kid 😳😳

          9. Really?? says:

U really reaching fam, Drakes Stan just be pathetic…

        2. Soup Weezy..... says:

I’m sure that was all he had.. He’s in serious trouble

      2. Dope says:

That TI piss stuff was about Safaree, not Drake. Meek went screaming about both, hell maybe even more on Safaree than Drake in this one.

    2. intelligentsoul says:

Thos reference tracks dont prove anything other than Drake took a few lines, a couple hooks, and a few flows. RICO is a completely different song, Used To he took the hook, 10 bands is 10 bands, and Know Yourself is like 30 seconds. Still nobody cares

      1. Iamstillmusic says:

Nobody cares because even if Meek proves Drake has a ghostwriter no one will care. Yall will try to make it look like something else

Drake has already won in y’all’s minds so there is nothing Meek can do

        1. MIKEY ESCO!!! says:

LOG OFF DUDE….TAKE A DEEP BREATH BACK UP FROM COMPUTER OPEN FRONT DOOR AND WALK OUT…..SEE? ITS A WHOLE WORLD OUT THERE…CLOSE DOOR BEHIND YOU AND ENJOY!!!!
          FK YO FEELINGS!!!

          1. Iamstillmusic says:

            Homosexual.

      2. bleh says:

“a few lines, a couple hooks, and a few flows.”

Can i come to your crib and fuck your girl a few times? Piss on your kids a couple times? and drink a few of your beers to wash the experience all down?

What in the actual fuck are you trying to justify? Don’t let your fandom leave you jaded.

If you want to argue that this response is semi luke warm… I would agree. But so was charged up so im going to say that Drake is up 1

        1. T says:

Peeing on kids? this Hip-Hop not R&B… Stop trying to force a opinions with shit like peeping on kids or fucking someones girl… That’s a weak way to prove a point my nigga, keep it Hip-Hop.

          1. bleh says:

The questions are rhetorical and hyperbolic. I apologize if i offended your sensibilities. But let’s keep it hip hop

Is it hip hop for someone to write your lines?

          2. T says:

That’s a question you should also ask Meek Mill cause us real Meek Mill fans know Louie V Gutta use to write for Meek Mill…. But to answer your question yes it’s Hip-Hop… Just like it’s Hip-Hop to take opinions on song structure… We as Hip-Hop heads have to stop being stupid and realize even if a artist changes one word in their song with another word recommend by a friend in the studio that song now becomes a co-written song… Perfect example of co-written songs is Nicki and her Ex Boyfriend…

          3. bleh says:

You realize you didn’t use Drakes name one time in your response. You brought up Louie V Gutta, Nicki, Meek Mill, Safaree. You even went as far as far as calling hip hop fans stupid for not accepting it as a normal practice BUT not once did you mention Drake.

Nice try but you’re not a fan, you’re a stan.

          4. T says:

No disrespect but I thought you might be a little smarter me answering your question is ME speaking on Drake don’t be a dummy my nigga, who the hell else could I be speaking on? Also i’m a fan of both Drake who worked with Q Miller and Meek Mill who worked with Louie V, and Jay Z who worked with The-Dream, miss me with the stan shit my nigga… I answered you question with giving my opinion and for your reference on me speaking on Drake is the part were I clearly TYPED ABOUT writers working with co-writters who in the hell else could I be speaking on? Isn’t Drake being accused of working with writers? Your response proves my point on Hip-Hop fans being stupid

          5. ilexx says:

You saying Jay-Z worked with the Dream like Dream wrote Jay’s bars.

I swear, Louvie isn’t saying anything right now at all about Meek being fake cause he wrote for him but you out here preaching it like its gospel.

Anyway the real funny part about your logic about ppl suggesting one or two word changes makes them a co-writer, is the fact that Drake LITERALLY changed one or two words from those reference tracks and spit back 90% of those rhymes with the same flow.

How can you can listen to the reference tracks for R.I.CO., Know Yourself, Used To and 10 BandsBands and even still feel the same?

Bro if you saying Meek’s diss ain’t all that, then cool but let’s not act like Drake didn’t borrow/steal/use another niggaz flow and bars for multiple songs. It’s fucking despicable.

          6. T says:

I’m a fan of both Drake and Meek Mill

          7. Kris Kompute says:

            Keep shittin on em

        2. Soup Weezy..... says:

Charged up is better than this shit..

        3. Shock says:

That maybe the single worst analogy ever lmfao

      3. Hear no evil see no evil says:

He ONLY took a few lines a couple hooks and a few flows….
I thought this was a sarcastic joke till I realized this is Drake Stan logic

        “10 bands is 10 bands”
        Wtf does that even mean?

Please tell me your being sarcastic. I don’t believe someone purporting themselves to be a hip hop fan thinks it’s no big deal. Sry brig but u not the best if u writing check for verses then selling the to other rappers? Rico, Blessings, lord know how many on this last tape and that’s only what we know of.

  11. baethoven says:

The guys name is in the song credits.. that’s not ghostwriting.

  12. Mylo says:

We gone clap back we gone clap back

  13. itsJustinMills says:

na, not feeling it. he’s relying on the talking sample to get his point across I’m sorry this is hella weak. Meek Lost. wasted time. i thought he was gonna go in.

  14. mike says:

This is weak and im a fan of both Drake 2 – Meek 0

  15. Joseph D. Hardrick says:

Damn…FACTS ONLY… Man he didn’t write Know Yourself, that hurts.
I Just wanna know…how the song ends

  21. MrAfrika says:

….I like how no-one gave a damn that he went at Joe Budden too. Lol

  22. IgnorantWisdom says:

Meek is the underdog media twitter can hate but this diss is better than charged up but back to back did to much damage now he gotta drop another but that one needs to be straight fire right now its a tie. But Drake aint runnin thru the 6 tho

  23. the-Lebron-curse. says:

This is like watching the raiders vs browns. Can we please get a skip button for this so called “beef”?

  24. Yawns says:

    This shit is boring

  25. WeHeah says:

If I’m Drake, I drop a record right now and spike the ball. This shit is over.

    1. the-Lebron-curse. says:

He needs to call Q to see if he’s up.

      1. WeHeah says:

He better be up, he on retainer!

        1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

  26. WastedmyTime says:

highly upset that i wasted my time listening to this Garbage

  27. Wtf! says:

Nicki need to put out the real diss.

    Very disappointing

    1. Rena says:

Very disappointing. Nicki would have done much better.

  28. eastpointvet says:

As a song it’s a pretty good song. As a diss it’s just ok. But neither have dropped a classic diss. Drake second track gets more love because it dropped before meek responded but it’s no classic either.

    1. Iamstillmusic says:

This is an unbiased opinion. Good one

      1. Kris Kompute says:

Shit was weak. Couldn’t understand half the shit he was saying.

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

Like the guy said both were weak, Drakes second diss was slightly better but still not impressive. The point is he proved Drake is fake which is what started this.

But there’s no point in arguing because in y’all’s book Drake has already won

          1. SniffMybAss says:

            he has indeed

          2. Xc says:

            Nope back2back was dope,

          3. Iamstillmusic says:

            It wasn’t a classic diss

          4. Xc says:

Ok, and? Classics are rare, that’s why their called classics.

          5. Iamstillmusic says:

Then why is everyone going crazy over this bullshit and acting like Meek’s career is over when it wasn’t classic

          6. Xc says:

Because careers have been ended from disses that weren’t classic, see Lil Flip.

          7. Iamstillmusic says:

Well that isn’t the case with Meek Mill, everyone was on his dick about his new album. This will pass he ain’t going no where

      2. AK says:

Just tally the quotables…both were spitting facts. What your scorecard read?

  29. dmc says:

I don’t even know what he said, lazy delivery

  30. Wtf! says:

The memes about to be so crazy tonight

  31. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

    1. REFRESHING VAMP SODA says:

u talkin about meeks own coffin right?

      1. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

Who else!!! If I was from philly I’d be mad right now lol!!!

  32. REFRESHING VAMP SODA says:

i thought meek cut jahlil beats off on twitter lol he must have begged him for a new beat, legendary sucka

  33. yorapper says:

This is terrible. I don’t even know where to start. From the mixing, to the played out samples, to using the same flow from “Check”, to the hypocritical lines. There’s no line in here that’s interesting. Totally forgettable. Meek really had an opportunity to dismantle Drake and failed.

  34. #teamcanada says:

Meek’s truly from the streets…posted on the corner of Twitter Blvd and Instagram Ave. Look out Facebook! You’re next..

    1. the-Lebron-curse. says:

Still tougher than the streets of Canada. Ey

      1. REFRESHING VAMP SODA says:

Drake signed to a real G, not a legendary fraud who used to search niccas booty holes for drugs like Meek

        1. the-Lebron-curse. says:

    1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

LOL OK, THAT made me laugh.

    2. Soup Weezy..... says:

Lmao….??chill out b.. Can’t forget the platinum chick

  36. drake getting exposed can’t front too much reference tracks.

  37. Brak In My Brak says:

Nicca at the end of the day your boss if Officer Ricky, the biggest fraud who never went plat, take a seat and thank Nicki for making you relevant.

  38. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

Only way Meek can redeem his self is by smacking Drake on camera, in front of his crew and moonwalking away unharmed… Too late for anything else

    1. Cartune says:

This is the only comment out of all of this I actually lol’d at.

  39. Kris Kompute says:

First reference track was cool. Second sample was whack. The third sample with Puffy was just convoluting an already sloppy track.

On top of all of that, the nigga got cottonmouth and I can’t understand half the shit he saying.

    Too little, too late.

    R.I.P. Meek Mill’s career 2008-2015.

    1. Iamstillmusic says:

      Stop it.

      Both Disses’ were nothing special

Drake got called out for being fake but no one cares to acknowledge that. Drizzy didn’t write know yourself, which is what started this beef,Drakes authenticity.

This new generation of hip hop fans disappoint me

      1. Smale45 says:

Eazy E didn’t write boyz in da hood. Drake didn’t write Chronic album. this shit is nothing new you dumb idiot. Buy yourself a HH album for once and open up the credit page. you’ll see a list of names under each record, who’s references or something else was used when making the song.

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

Then why the beef! Let Drake tweet that someone wrote his song so this can end!

Shut the fuck up and stop defending someone who claims he’s the best in the game but someone wrote Shia records

Like over said all over this thread, no matter what Meek says, Drake has already won to yall so it’s a lose lose situation

I don’t ever want to see Drake say he’s the best rapper, this pop star needs to just stay in his lane with the emotional music that has you bitches excited

          1. Iamstillmusic says:

            *his

          2. MIKEY ESCO!!! says:

GODDAMN!!!!!! THIS GOT TO BE YOU MEEK!!!! THERES NO WAY ITS NOT….AND IF SO HOMIE DREAM CHASERS OWES YOU A BIG ASS CHECK!!!!!
            FK YO FEELINGS!!!

          3. Iamstillmusic says:

You couldn’t even make a good argument, you had to result to insults. Smh bro, I know Drake is your hero but he’s a phony, nothing will change that

          4. MIKEY ESCO!!! says:

GOOD ARGUMENT? NOBODY CAN ARGUE WITH YOU!!! YOUR LIKE A OCTOPUS HOMIE YOU GOT 8 HANDS CONSTANTLY TYPING!!! YOU CLAIM YOUR A FAN OF BOTH BUT CONSTANTLY DOGGING DRAKE!!! IM A NAS FAN I LIKE RAPPERS WHO DO COMPLETE BANGING ALBUMS!!! DRAKE AND MEEK IS KOOL FOR HOT SINGLES, I CANT LISTEN TO A WHOLE ALBUM OF THOSE GUYS!!! BUT I KNOW ENOUGH TO SAY DRAKE IS ABOUT TO ETHER MEEK IF HE DONT COME HARDER!!!! FK YO FEELINGS!!!

          5. Iamstillmusic says:

My feelings aren’t involved, yours apparently are since you’re typing in all caps

All I’ve said is both disses are weak so why does everyone determine Drake the winner no matter what Meek said

Drizzy got exposed and yet somehow Meek is the one who’s career is over. I only commented one person on this blog and every single person is coming at me and yet somehow I’m the stan

            I’m just keeping it real

          6. Music says:

The album already contains information in which Miller is properly credited doofus. There is no conspiracy or cover up. They even have pictures with the guy on instagram.

Drake is still the best whether he wrote his shit or not. The whole world still fuck with Drake and Views From The 6 is going to sell crazy units, because the music (THE END PRODUCT) is great.

go bump some krs one or big daddy kane and stop the bitching already lol you could be drakes ghostwriter for all the bitching you do on these forums lmao

          7. Iamstillmusic says:

Dude people like you are the problem with hiphop. If I state my opinion and it doesn’t correlate with Drake is the best, his emotional army comes for me

What started this beef was his authenticity and Meek has proved Drake uses ghostwriters. I’m guessing he gets the pass because he was a never a true MC to begin with

I’m a Drake fan but nahh, he lost his rankings with me, I’m not gonna sit here and act like this shit is cool cuz it’s not.

VFT6 will sell, Drake will still be the most popular rapper, Kendrick will still be the better one

          8. Music says:

ghostwriter- writing big contributions to a project while not being credited or seen. AKA being a ghost.

Example, Louie V Gutta & Tory Lanez wrote for Weak but weren’t credited. Those are ghostwriters lol

notice how you are the only one bringing up all this MC this and true MCs nonsense. you guys really showing your age on here.

K Dot kind of dropped the ball on the last project but oh well.

            VFT6 coming soon bitches! lmao

          9. Iamstillmusic says:

As a Drake fan I know you don’t wanna hear the word MC cuz your favorite rapper isn’t one

Like I said, I’m not defending Meek, I’m analyzing what started the beef

Hopefully VFT6 is a good album

          10. Music says:

Lmao yeah im so hurt drake isn’t an MC and doing the hammer time lmao

          11. Faceless Hustlers says:

K.Dot dropped the ball but he dropped the best album of the decade critics, fans and peers alike said so. Nominated for 13 MTV awards so after the VMAs youll eat that ball Kendrick supposedly dropped!

          12. Music says:

13 MTV AWARDS!!?!?! OMG NO WAY! lmao

You act like these award shows give any type of validation or weight to anything. Especially MTV. Buts it nice to now MTV supports conscious records while they show how these teenage hoes turn into mothers.

All the reviews online were positive but in the actual streets not so much. I liked the album for like 2 weeks, then it simply lost replay value. And this is coming from a sucker of soul/funk/jazz.

No doubt K Dot will release a better and more street oriented 3rd album, but until then let’s not speak on it. TPAB would have been a better album if his fans didn’t put him on a pedestal only to be disappointed. Still fuck with GKMC though.

          13. patofjammdat says:

About the ghost writing no rapper even in the history of hip hop did receive some help at some point in their career. I work as an audio engineer and I’ve recorded many of rappers most unknown and a few well known, and I’ve help 2/3 of them with their rhymes. That’s not what ghost writing is. Also I’ve given people songs to rap the good artist take my idea expand upon it and make it their own.

Now say if drake gets a hook idea or help with a verse from one of his boys thats not ghost writing. Plus his mans is getting writers credit so he’s helping the fam eat. And last rap is more then just what you say it’s how you say it. Cause there are many great writers but few great rappers. I’m a fan of Drake music Meeks too but if dude is getting every song written him then that ghost writing and then we have a problem.

          14. Iamstillmusic says:

I get what you’re saying and I like I said both artists make good music I just don’t know why Drake insists on calling himself the realist rapper when he doesn’t come close to that

He’s no J Cole, he’s no Ye, he’s no Kendrick

          15. Shock says:

Kanye? The same guy who credited 12 writers on one song?

          16. Iamstillmusic says:

I’m speaking of Persona! The way Kanye is arrogant and wise in his words is the same way he is in real life

Drake isn’t the same person on and off the court, the way he talks reckless in songs isn’t the way he is in reality

          17. Shock says:

Damn you hate the guy huh? You sound like you know him personally. You never met him to know him. But I’ve always respected Drake for being himself. He doesn’t rap about trapping or banging. He raps about partying, women, family, and Canada. He is a sensitive nigga and it reflects in his music. What isn’t real about that?

          18. Iamstillmusic says:

His persona, you can almost tell he’s acting. The point is, he’s always claiming to be the realist when he isn’t

If we are talking about the new school, J.Cole is the realist rapper since Ye’. He has so many narratives about his life that’s its ridiculous to even compare him to Drake

Yes, we all know Drizzy is emotional but off of what we see alone, he isn’t as authentic as he claims to be

      2. Kris Kompute says:

Nothing special compared to the past generations…yes I agree.

But there’s so much ammo on Drake and Meek fuckin fumbled.

The man wifes strippers. Throws bottles in the club like a faggot bitch. He’s hard killing niggas one minute and then crying in his handkerchief the next. His eyebrows are fucked up. He jocks every athlete in the world and he just graduated from high school last week.

Meek mentioned none of that. I thought he was a solid MC who was a battle rapper. This shit is terrible.

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

I’m not arguing that bro, I said both of their disses were weak

But I hate Twitter and this site for failing to acknowledge that Drake is a phony who doesn’t write his raps I don’t care who else falls under that boat. Drake isn’t the best. He has no right to come on a song talking shit

In my opinion Drake has always been a pop star who occasionally makes good music with a fake persona

          1. Kris Kompute says:

            No question.

          2. Dafuq says:

A website like this will never challenge the status quo on drakes product. You’re better off making your own blog homie lol.

          3. Iamstillmusic says:

I’ll always state my opinion. The media has people thinking this dude is the rap messiah

          4. Dafuq says:

That’s main stream media for you lol

        2. Dafuq says:

Meek fucked up a good opportunity and not coming up w a scheme w all that shit u mentioned. I hate Drake, and not that big on Meek, but got damn I was hoping for Meek to come up w some hit em up, grimey, disrespectful shit.

          Meek let me down smh.

          1. WAVY says:

Cosigned heavy. The most disrespectful he got was toward AR go figure smh.

          2. Room 222 says:

Honestly what can Meek really say about Drake!?! What would have suggested to him?

He can only use the ghostwriting thing for so much.

        3. Manny Israel says:

          Good point!!

      3. brooklyn187boy says:

stop up know what you talk bout neither drake diss was wack if you don’t understand charged up then idk what to tell you. meek is trash and who gives a fuck if drake didn’t writer took a track all artist take song and get shit wrote for them

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

No they don’t! That’s what they want you to think!

You can not claim to be the best but someone writes for you, anyone who falls under that boat loses my respect

You new generation rap fans kill me. If this is common, they wouldn’t be GHOSTWRITERS. They are hidden for a reason

          1. Old Man Raps says:

Bro…that “really shows your age” comment really resonates here. I think we around the same age. I’m with you man about the greats(Big, Pac, Jay, Nas, Eminem, etc.) you mentioned but hip hop has turned into “hip hop”. Being that it’s so manufactured now a days you need to keep churning out these records. That being said having others help write hooks, raps, choruses, etc. has become common. I also DON’T think you should be comparing other rap beefs with this one. You’d also be throwing dirt at the greats by even trying to compare.

IMO, Pac and Big beef was “personal” this one ain’t. Let’s keep it that way and keep it healthy. For one thing this is definitely giving attention to both artists and this is what I love about “battling” in hip hop.

Going back to the ghostwriting discussion. I mean yeah Drake gave him due credits. Miller’s name is printed on the sleeve, right? Also about you throwing Ye’ up there before…dude you check how Ye’ been working like the last 3 albums?!?! He has so many people writing for him and producing for him now! LOL. All Ye’ does now is listen to dope records and sprinkle some of his ‘genius’ onto it. This coming from me! I consider myself the biggest Ye’ fan of them all.

Now while we on Ye’ subject let me say one thing. DAYAM. Ye’ needs help. He dropped those new records and they getting slept and swept under the rug. Kind of like how those Carter V records were….let’s be real who in here remember any of them? 2 of them featured Drake and Stunna STILL SHEVLED THAT ALBUM! FWA got like a 5.5 on Pitchfork…now before y’all RR cats start jumping them white guilt white boys from Chicago’s reviews hold merit. They know how to review using Harvard Lit 101 english. LOL. Anyways, Ye’ at a really sensitive spot right now. He’s pretty much passed his prime. He’s around where Jay was when Jay started to become obsolete(a little after American Gangster era). So he’s going to have to shock and release “artistic” records from now on cause how is almost 40 year old who’s so rich and living the life going to resonate with the young generation? He’s not. You can’t keep rapping about how much drugs you sold or money you got. That’s what made Jay become obsolete. Wayne at that spot right now too…he really needs to pay attention and pick the right beats. FWA sounds dated.

I’m all over the place here so let me summarize and get hate from y’all.

Ye’ – needs to drop artistic record or something next level like how he pissed everyone off with Yeezus which IMO is his best work next to MBDTF. Best move for him is too lie low and drop it in 2016 and focus on that Rihanna album.

Drake – needs to drop Views from the 6 and everyone will hop back on him again.

Wayne – needs to get a reality check and start picking the right beats.

Meek – needs to drop a dope diss record for Drake to get this ball rolling.

Young Thug – he’s the future. (puts on fire proof vest and helmet)

P.S. Last thing man. Embrace it man. Embrace what hip hop is today. Whether you agree with it’s current state or not fam. You can also teach them kids too but not in a condescending way. It took me awhile to understand Young Thug but I get it man. LOL. I get it. Lastly I think hip hop/rap needs to be broken down into sub genres. Hip hop has grown and mutated so much in the last 30 years. Damn I just wrote a book for y’all. TL;DR

      4. Chronic says:

After hearing 3 reference tracks now I’m starting to wonder if he even wrote “Back to Back”. All this beef really did is make me question Drakes whole rapping career and solidified my feelings on Meek that he really isn’t that good

        1. Cantona says:

To play devil’s advocate, who says the woes reference track is real? It sounds like I could’ve recorded that and sent it to [email protected].
And if you saying that Drake’s disses were weak then what the hell do you call Meek’s? Dude had damn near a week to write that shit and THIS is what he comes back with? Fuck outta here.

          1. Chronic says:

First of all, it doesn’t sound like devils advocate when you end your comment with fuck outta here, it sounds like your butt hurt someone would question that drake writes his shit. It sounds exactly like the 3 other reference tracks, that’s why I have confidence it’s real. And I didn’t say drakes song was weak…just said how can you know he even wrote that shit himself?

        2. Iamstillmusic says:

It’s like, if you come on this site and explain the reality of the situation, his tampon crew comes for me

Both disses didn’t impress me, but the fact is Drake isn’t 100% authentic so stop claiming the throne.

Ghostwriters aren’t supposed to be known, hence GHOST, it’s never been cool. Even with the ghostwriters Kendrick still eats him

      5. CeeMore Cash says:

He got called out and addressed things properly…people forget that drake ain’t just rap, the man wrote a song for Celine Dion. Drake is 3d while meek is one dimensional, you always gonna get the same meek. I like both artist but meek fucked up. That’s what a girl will do to a fake nigga, change em!

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

I don’t care about Drake being 3dimensional he’s had a fake persona while always claiming to be the realist

He doesn’t write his rhymes but that doesn’t seem to interest yall. I don’t care about Meek diss

      6. radio raheem says:

what do you know about hip hop… if you dont mind me asking ?

      7. Music says:

bro go bump some krs one or big L and stop being bitter lol

we care about music and dope records, not lyrical records. if we did, we’d crown lupe the best lmao

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

I’m not bitter, just stating my opinion. I literally replied to one person on this blog and now all the Drake stans want to come at me for stating the truth

      8. JD says:

Definitely don’t like that he didn’t write those tracks, but those shits are basically extended chorus’s, who really cares.

      9. Chris says:

Tf is you talking about he may not have wrote that song but gave credit to Quentin miller so how is that fake? Kanye got a team of writers that write his shit but no one cares about that and meek said in dc3 that he gets paid for the flow he don’t write his shit so who really fake?

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

I don’t support anyone who ghostwrites. It doesn’t matter who it is

      10. Eric Davis says:

Just because your guy didn’t come through.

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

Meek isn’t my guy, I’m just being honest

        2. Room 222 says:

Who do you think made the most EXEMPTIAL track?

    2. MassConglom says:

The problem with Meek’s response is that there are literally NO QUOTABLES, I can remember several bars from “Back to Back” but none from “Wanna Know”.

Second thing is all thoughs interludes taking away from the feel of the diss track.

Third thing is the mindframe behind the disses. Meek literally just reiterate what he’s already said about Drake on Twitter. Drake not only released Charge up(which I didn’t like) but released another diss track before you could even respond to the first diss(and even called it “back to back”,lol).

Drake even found time in this beef to big up his City by making the cover art for Back to Back a pic of Joe Carter after the Toronto BlueJays win their second straight World Series against none other then the Philadelphia Phillies…smh.

Joe Carter co-signed the use of his picture by thanking Drake on twitter saying “My kids think I’m cool now”,lol. Drake REALLY sent bottles to Charlemagne possibly hinting at his first Breakfast Club interview(I Hope). And he donated money to a school in Philly to build a recording studio. Drake is playing #ChessNotCheckers #StepYourWorkEthicUpMeek

      Drake 2-1

      1. SapToad says:

Agreed but Drake is never going to Breakfast club.LMAO

        1. Room 222 says:

Why do u think is Drake never doing the Breakfast Club?

He just sent CTG 6 bottles of Dom Pérignon w/ a note saying “Let’s be friends”.

So, he might be on the show sooner rather than later.

    3. SapToad says:

Here is the problem no one cares about reference tracks, because if Meek had use those in the beginning that would of made Drake pressed the fact Meek use twitter to let the world know before hand was his first mistake and also Meek is not witty or clever to come at Drake anyways.

    4. Music says:

You love her, then you gotta give the world to her Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?

Yeah, trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers You getting bodied by a singing nigga I’m not the type of nigga that’ll type to niggas

Shout out to all my boss bitches wife-in niggas!!!!!

      RIP TWEET MILL.

  40. Rob Lo says:

Drake getting Exposed is the biggest Deal out of all the songs…Only u fake new generation niggas worrying about Songs…Drake DONT WRITE HIS RAPS….Fuck wrong with yall new niggas i dont get it…This song aint about bars its about being exposed…Its about Facts..#FACTS

    1. Rick Ruben says:

That’s what battle rap is all about. #Facts
      Meek>>>>>Drake

      1. Da Business says:

That’s not necessarily true. Jay came w/ facts and still lost to Nas.

        1. Savimbi says:

They were battling tho, no one really exposed anybody, this really just goes back to whether or not drake writes his shit and right now we have proof that he doesn’t write some of his stuff. I think as an mc he’ll loose mad points and credibility but as far as his commercial appeal I doubt he’ll loose a step. I think if not meek the window is now open for anybody to come at him if he ever mentions being the best in the game again.

          1. Da Business says:

I fux w/ ur logic. The thing tho, like u mention, Drake will STILL do a milli plus, easy. I never looked @ Drake as “Emcee” away, his a great artist, that’s it. If it were Cole or Kendrick, shit wouldn’t been different.

Bottom line, Drake will be here 5-10 yrs from now, ghostwriter or not. He produces MUSIC.

Meek’s 15 minutes is just about up.

          2. Nickey38 says:

            Good point

    2. Smale45 says:

nigga, half of the rappers get their shit written for them. Clearly a dumb nigga like you never bough an album in his life and have no idea how the fucking song credit section of the album looks like. A bunch of names under fucking song titles, dumb nigga. Some of the biggest HH icons had their shit writter for them. Dre, Eazy E, a bunch of others. Yall niggas are crying over something that has been happening since the hiphop started. And it will continue to exist. Every rapper has used references writing tracks, period.

    3. SniffMybAss says:

but the proof are audio clips not video footage so how can we say forsure that its not someone else rapping the same lyrics over those beats to frame drake

      1. Kingly_Caracter says:

Dang… Never thought of that…A stretch. But extremely easy to pull off.

        1. SniffMybAss says:

exactly cant rule it out my g

          1. Chronic says:

Nah if it was one song maybe…but 4 have come out and it’s the same guy and it’s sounds just like the dude Quentin millers mixtape on datpiff

    4. Kingly_Caracter says:

I understand you as a person from that era. But at the end of the day Drake wrote the two tracks that mattered most… Even meek acknowledged that.

  41. Pill Cosby™ says:

    That was turrible
    -Charles Barkley

  42. ITS ME says:

    What a letdown smh

  43. WastedmyTime says:

FAILED!!!!!! Running through the 6 with my WOES!!!!!!!!!! Drake 8-0

  44. Da Business says:

    Shit was weak. Meek lost.??????

  45. Rick Ruben says:

Drake better watch out. Meek just warming up.

  46. TopRank414 says:

This dude rapped that whole joint through his teeth. It was straight. Drake 3-0 right now.

  47. Dubzzz says:

First half is dope this is just the warm up

    1. Rick Ruben says:

Exactly, Clowns acting like Drake didn’t put out that weak “CHARGED UP” track.

      1. Bmix says:

and he followed it with “Back to Back”. Meek had a week to write that shit. Longer than that cause he started the war. Shit was horrible.

  48. private says:

As a drake fan I will say this, The diss was very weak but at the ending dude was going into some street shit. The nigga showed his hand tho, what is coming next will be fire. But I am sure Drake has some 5am in Toronto type verse in the kitchen with Meek’s name on it.

    1. Smale45 says:

there’s no coming back for Meek, don’t even joke around. you don’t get your ass demolished in a HH beef and then a month later bounce back with a verse, lmfao. It’s over. He had a chance and he blew it

  49. Gusto0810 says:

Nah that wasn’t it Meek. You need quotables for a diss track to hit right. I trust this is just the warm up but Meek better drop that real fire asap before Drake comes back with quotables (regardless of whether he wrote them or not) and the internets lose themselves making memes and reaction videos that will forever be cached in the minds of this generation.

  50. Hear no evil see no evil says:

I’m sorry but a lot of you Drake fans ain’t hip hop heads. Tall niggas really out here saying it’s not a big deal if the so called “Hottest Rapper in the Game” is a fraud. Yall can hear for yourself a there other niggas giving him his raps and y’all still dick riding. This new generation fuckin the game up. Bet all the people with “his” lyrics tattooed on them is questioning the life choices. People need to accept that sometimes your heroes aren’t who u think they are. Tom Brady, Barry Bond, Bill Cosby, Drake. Everyone can see plain as day but we can’t accept it so we find every excuse. Are u kidding me? You got rappers busting they brains to keep they fans satisfied and this nigga buying bars… But he’s the man thou…. Y’all reasoning says a lot about your character

    1. Iamstillmusic says:

This is all I’ve ever said man, the authenticity of hip hop is what I care about. Drake has these niggas losing all hiphop credentials

    2. private says:

Yeah, I see what you’re saying but how are we sure those reference tracks are even real, or if drake didn’t write the lyrics and give this nigga to flow with. And like Rosenberg said, it will shock you how many niggas have co-writers or “ghostwriters”. And niggas that have been fucking with Drake since comeback season know his pen game is sick, so meek has to find another angle.

      1. Hear no evil says:

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Fans of Drakes music can still enjoy his music but also accept that he’s not who they thought he was and not lose face. STANS ^^^^ on the other hand will bend over backwards to find an excuse to why it can’t possibly be true, and in the same breathe say how many people have co writers. It’s never been a secret there were ghost writers for rappers ( Diddy Mase Dr Dre) but none of them is walking around proclaiming to be the best Rapper out. You know how sick it makes me seeing him in Sprite Ads with Nas, Rakim, and Big. In a promotion about lyrics?? Really take an honest look and see how far fetched these excuses are for Drake. Have your own opinion don’t worship a dude just cuz it’s the Kool thing to do.

        1. private says:

I am not looking for excuses bruh, I am just saying that we don’t know how deep this runs in the industry. Even the alleged “Ghost-writer” spoke up in tumblr, Just because some chatty patty gets in his feelings and rats on a nigga doesn’t mean we should discredit this nigga for life, because we all know Aubrey is sick. Dude just met Quentin… Quentin was not there for 5am, the ride, pound cake, dreams money can buy, stay scheming and all the other top notch lyrical songs that we know Drake for. So all I am saying is we should not discredit Drake’s pen game, cause at the end dude has put in enough work to be where his at.

          1. Chronic says:

Quentin wasn’t there….but whose to say there haven’t been several guys writing for him over the years?

          2. private says:

Fam, Are you serious? Dude has written for damn near everybody in the game. How many rappers have said Drake is an amazing songwriter.

          3. Chronic says:

How many people said that before it came out he needs reference tracks?

          4. private says:

Rico love who writes for everybody, The Dream who works on all of Jay’s new albums said it too… This niggas are well known songwriters in the game and have also worked with Drake, check both their interviews in hot97 they are really old tho. You will see the way they praise his writing.

  51. Example says:

Man, this was a total let down. Not a good response Meek Mill. Let’s be real. Drake is up so far. I mean Drake writes his own shit! But of course just like anybody if you were the Money Maker in your crew and you came up with a dope metaphor or line etc. Of course you would let Drake “your friend” use it in a rap. Your getting paid I assume to be in his entourage and knowing you would not blow in the rap game. Im sure he uses ideas and lines from his friends. It’s called brainstorming or hmmmm ART. Drake is up. And plus everyone bringing up Biggie and Pac diss Nas Jay. Classics of course. But know one could beat Eminem in Diss Records.

    1. Patrick Griffin says:

Em never faced a rapper who was one his level Em’s just a bully

      1. Example says:

Smh. He Ended plenty of rappers careers. Everyone is scared of Em . The proof is in the pudding. No one has stepped up. NO ONE. Patty

      2. Da Business says:

Nobody is out rapping Em tho.

  52. WeHeah says:

Charlamagne need to fire up that Donkey of the day!

    1. Smale45 says:

and he better go all in.

  53. Chronic says:

While Meeks verses weren’t that great…it did bring back up the fact that drake hasn’t adressed the ghostwriting yet really

  54. Pill Cosby™ says:

Doesn’t Drake have a song called Lord Knows? Now Meek has a song on his album called lord knows? then this diss says
I wanna know, if a nigga ain’t really putting it in
but acting like he putting it in

If he can, still letting it fly like it’s cool I wanna know man

Shit’s getting different out here it’s getting spooky”
doesn’t Drake say shit about getting spooky on lord knows too?
Meek a biting ass fan who is jealous of Drake

    1. DoTheKnowledge says:

well they both biting 2pac’s “Lord Knows” then

  55. i got the rest of the meek diss follow me at @scandalempire twitter

  56. 4ree says:

    4reemix. Remember that.

  57. Kingly_Caracter says:

Niggas defending this thread like Power Rangers tho!

  58. 4ree says:

It was ok. But Drake’s wasnt anything special either

  59. ATL says:

I thought Meek was a battle rapper tho?? Lol

  60. Patrick Griffin says:

This may not have been as hard as I wanted to be BUT as a fan of Drake, it hurtin me that he’s not writing his music. In the end Drake is getting exposed and Meek win or lose still has his fans but Drake’s rep is always going to take a hit to hip-hop heads at least ones who care about lyrical ability.

    1. Hear no evil says:

Thank u for keepin it 100 my G. I wish all Drake Supporters could be that honest about shit

    2. private says:

Dude I feel you a 100%, I am a Drake STAN but how are we sure those reference tracks are even real, or if drake didn’t write the lyrics and give this nigga to flow with. And like Rosenberg said, it will shock you how many niggas have co-writers or “ghostwriters”. And niggas that have been fucking with Drake since comeback season know his pen game is sick, so meek has to find another angle, if it is gonna hurt. Cause trust me I care about lyricism too. But I choose to give Drake the benefit of a doubt, due to his past work

  61. TheTruthHurts says:

People are tripping on how they think this is that bad, it’s better than Charged Up, not as good as Back to Back. I think Meek is just getting warmed up and has more ammo against Drake than Drake has against Meek.

  62. Ocho says:

I can’t believe Im the only one that think Meek went in!! Off top they in different lanes, Drake can’t step into Meeks lane.. but y’all want Meek to go into his??? This is crazy!! lol .. I hope he keeps going in

    1. Jae Brown says:

WTF are you talking about…he has two quotables… Yes the beat is dope, but going in is not mumbling through verses

      1. Ocho says:

smh … its no saving u guys.. I would elaborate but there is no point lol

        1. Jae Brown says:

          no…please elaborate further

          1. Ocho says:

It’s so old now.. And I was expecting pt 2 or whatever the next day.. But when I think of Meek Mill I think about energy and real talk.. That’s what he gave us!! The first 6 bars to me were classic Meek .. No he didn’t out Bar drake with wordplay.. But he stated more facts and came at him more direct .. It’s just what I expected from Meek so I liked it .. And still do

    2. uʍop ǝpısdn says:

      That you Rozay??

  63. runthewave says:

Meeks first is better.. 1-2 so far..real talk
    You agree?

  64. BestBoy says:

That was weak …. That’s what we’ve been waiting for ….

  65. Get Moneynigga says:

I gottta hear the non-hot97 version before I judge

  66. Reggie Bo says:

    Weak as shit

  67. Cjay says:

    Drake got pissed on?

    1. Patrick Griffin says:

I know right not only are you a fraud you’re getting peed on…

    2. Kingly_Caracter says:

      … a woman’s scorn

  68. PhilLee8 says:

I understand that Meek probably warming up & that he has more ammo blah blah blah, he took too long, the hype is out the window, especially after this attempt, it’s over, Drake wins unanimously.

    1. Soup Weezy..... says:

      Indeed

  69. Louiev says:

This is was ehhhh, Drake was allowed a weak diss so Meek gotta pass on this one. He needs to drop another!

    1. Kris Kompute says:

He had a week to write his. Not counting the fact he popped the whole shit off

Drake had two days and that whack ass charged up was better

      1. private says:

You have been talking some facts lately fam

        1. Kris Kompute says:

          Always factual. Never a hater.

          1. private says:

Lol, True… I admit to riding for Drake to hard, but you got admit you hate sometimes. At least you are not as bad as @Iamstillmusic

  70. thedeamkid19 says:

The thing in this cat fight is that meek might have a little of a gangsta backround and drake zero, so the beef is in between the bad rapper and the selling fake rapper

  71. Reggie Bo says:

Couldnt even understand half of what this nigga was saying…he sounds like he just got a shot of novacane

    1. Smale45 says:

I think he did it on purpose, so people couldn’t actually understand just how bad the lyrics were.

  72. Kingly_Caracter says:

This is a technically sound diss track with ZERO impact. He said everything that should be said. But because of air and the fact that he only has his initial diss (ghostwriting) to diss Drake on… he missed the shot. Believe it or not people, for what ever reason has gotten over Drakes ghostwriting scandal (thanks social media). In fact he already redeemed himself in a lot of peoples eyes for the TWO diss tracks Meek himself allowed him to drop.

I’ve whitenessed the GREATEST beefs of all time. At the end of the day you need to own 3 things to win… TIMING, IMPACT, and QUOTABLES. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. I’ve seen niggas get killed in beef… Never a suicide tho.

    1. Smale45 says:

so is this the first time you’re witnessing a suicide?

      1. Kingly_Caracter says:

Beef suicide… yeah. What it’s looking like. LOL! I want meek to throw in better showmanship in the mix. Something we will remember. This to me felt like another Meek track on any given day.

    2. Kris Kompute says:

There’s so much ammo on Drake, it’s ridiculous. Way more than the ghostwriting shit.

      1. Kingly_Caracter says:

Man… He should have used it today. He isn’t in the position to come out of the gate pacing bruh. Drake got 2 on a nigga… with a TON of quotables. Regardless of his transgressions.

        1. Kris Kompute says:

          Continue. He fucked up.

    3. Chronic says:

But why is everyone so convinced drake wrote “Back to Back”?

    4. Nickey38 says:

      Good comment

  73. Michael Ib bett says:

Was he talking about joe budden in the intro about the instagram twitter thing?
Edit nevermind. I see he’s got a million now, last time I looked at twitter he had 100,000

    1. uʍop ǝpısdn says:

      No that was about Safaree.

      1. Michael Ib bett says:

Idk…feels more about budden with the couples therapy shit. And I dont think anyone would call their own girl someone elses, x or not. You ain’t get YOUR chick back yet.

  74. Soup Weezy..... says:

Wow.. thats all he got for the 6 God.. Stick a fork in Meek.. This niggaz done.. There’s nothing he can say at this point to come back. It took this nigga a week to come back with that bullshit.. He don’t got nothing for Drizzy. You can tell when he said that line about Puffy and domestic, he thought that shit was fly…TF outta here

  75. @_illuminegro_ says:

Can somebody please tell me what is the piss on reference. Niggas keep saying drake got pissed on what they mean tho

  76. Craig_r says:

Has flex finished playing the song yet? #FlexLoses listeners

  77. Cjay says:

Fuck the diss track, did you hear that he got pissed on? LOL. Now I want to know that fucking story!

  78. Game is fucked up says:

If I’m Meek Mill ( Rico) or Big Sean (Blessing) and I PAY for a DRAKE verse, that what I expect. This nigga gets his check, pays some to do the body of the verse, then pretend like he’s the man. This nigga middle manning the game and it’s ok?? I guess your heroes can do no wrong. I can’t respect you as a fan of hip hop if you can’t at least admit that your man ain’t then you thought he was

    1. Cjay says:

You’re right, the game is fucked up. I am a Drake fan and I can never look at him the same. SMH.

      1. Game is fucked up says:

I respect u keeping it real. “Pray the fakes get exposed”
Ironic…. He didn’t write that line either

  79. Phillip says:

Drake was up by 4 with 8 seconds left and meek got fouled on a 2 point attempt and missed the first free throw….it’s like nigga first off, what are you shooting a layup for??? You needed a 3 numb nuts…. Then you miss a free throw….. Now you are down by 3 and you have to foul and pray that they miss their free throws, with 5 seconds left…. It’s not over, but it’s going to take a got damn miracle to win …….

    1. radio raheem says:

its over.. been over with back to back… the way that track is clearly and greatly misunderstood which is no surprise because majority of people aren’t mc’s or dont know wtf hip hop is about… how do you start 2 viral movements in 4 days ? how many current rappers can do that ?

      1. Chronic says:

Clearly you don’t know what an mc or what hip-hop is….it’s not about viral movements and it sure as hell ain’t about using a ghostwriter/having someone lay out reference tracks telling you exactly how to rap

        1. radio raheem says:

And Clearly you don’t know who the fuck you’re talking too… I understand that

          1. Chronic says:

I used to fuck around a couple years ago for fun and shit, but you don’t have to be able to rap to be a hip-hop head and know about the shit my man.

          2. radio raheem says:

            Sadly and Apparently you don’t know shit… Who’s your top 5 ?

          3. Chronic says:

Lol, so you think viral movements is what makes an artist good? So what about pre-Internet??? And my top 5 in no order is Eminem, Biggie, Doom, Big L, Snoop.

          4. radio raheem says:

intresting top 5…. no I never said thats what hip hop is only about but its deff apart of it.. look at the history.. run dmcs shell toe movement.. the whole LA vs the police movement.. now that we are in the internet era.. everything changed.. if things are good they automatically go viral and start movements if the right amount of people know.. what I was tyring to say was that drizzy just started a movement with a respond that didnt even have to happen… its powerful that was my point

          5. Chronic says:

Alright, I see the point your making I guess. And as far as my top 5, there’s some others who I think are better rappers but for different reasons those are my favorites.

          6. radio raheem says:

            yeah I feel you

          7. Da Business says:

Snoop has ghostwriters as well, for the record.

          8. Chronic says:

Yea, I only fucked with his early stuff anyways

          9. radio raheem says:

            http://www.audiomack.com/artist/heem-17

Hol Lat ! Art To Ears Coming Soon… Stay Tuned….

          10. Chronic says:

Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be actually, you can write a little, but your flow needs work and you don’t got a good voice….but can’t hate, that’s why I stopped recording shit, my voice wasn’t made for rap

          11. radio raheem says:

thanks for the criticism but no thank you… opinions doesn’t matter to me at all.. I know what im doing 3 years into developing this tape.. and id rather hear what the rap gods have to say instead of random people on the internet.. like I said you still dont know who I am but you will soon… Did you even understand anything ? lmaooo

          12. Chronic says:

Good luck with that. I figured you just started. If you’ve been at it for 3 years and that’s all you got just give up

          13. radio raheem says:

who said thats all I got.. . LMF ! ILL COME BACK TO THIS WHEN I DROP.. DONT WORRY ABOUT WHAT IM DOING.. LIKE I SAID YOU JUDGING BUT YOU STILL CANT DECODE THOSE 2 I GAVE YOU…. CLEARLY YOU DONT KNOW HIP HOP… STOP WASTING YOUR TIME HATING BECAUSE YOU GAVE UP… PLEASE PRESENT ME ONE OF YOUR SONGS IM STILL WAITING… I WORK WITH SOMEONE GRAMMY NOMINATED IN THE STUDIO.. LIKE I SAID WATCH WHO YOURE TALKING TOO..

          14. Chronic says:

Lol I never started, like I said I just fucked around with my friends when we were drinking and shit. And cool, I know people who’ve paid for a feature too. Like I said good luck, you’re really gonna need it.

    2. Jay says:

Great analogy even though it’s definitely over.

    3. Supa_Doopa_Ghost1 says:

And thank you for tuning into to SportsCenter!..LMAO

  80. Tone Starks says:

Bulletproof wallets, 20 gz kitchens that made out of Korea

  81. marty mcfly says:

Meh, the song kinda weak imo but the reference track part was dope. That was the best part to, as for the rhymes? They just didn’t really move me at all.

  82. The loser says:

Every body that raps said they have used reference tracks. Including Jay Z. He took the bridge on Lucifer from Kanye in niggas faces on camera in Fade to Black and nobody said nothing!
“Man I gotta get my soul right…..”

Point is Meek started a war with No Ammo and lost! Flat out. Nobody asked him to bring that shit up with Drake. He waited to long to respond and it wasn’t worth the wait. Take your L and battle Joe Budden. Drake platform is too high and you can’t expose a nigga who feelings is already out there

Overall Meek played the game, tweeting and shit, probably thinkin Drake wasn’t gon respond and got his bluff ca
lled. Ain’t no Stan! Just a fan

    1. Xc says:

Niggas gone ignore you speaking those facts about Hov and Ye. The difference is Hov bodied Lucifer and none of those reference tracks even had a chance to be bodied because they doing that lazy trap shit.

  83. Kingly_Caracter says:

Real shit… Have these “References” been proven tho? Like FACTUALLY proven. I can rap over a Drake track right now and claim the same. Jus sayin. Right now all we got is Meek and Flexes word. The ghostwriter denied it… Let dat sit.

    1. Chronic says:

…..why would someone literally record the same exact words?

    2. Michael Ib bett says:

It’s common sense. It’s not a random person o the references. It’s the guy that was in the credits for the songs.

    3. dune says:

failed comment. the guy who is credited on the track is the same guy in the reference song, your new favorite artist, Quentin Miller!

      1. Kingly_Caracter says:

Idunno man… In the industry, if you give as much as a suggested line or phrase you are obligated to credit. A big difference between “Ghostwriting” and “co-writing”. Don’t believe me, look it up.

      2. Kingly_Caracter says:

…And…how does one “fail” on an open question? Isn’t it plausible? With that logic NONE of your favorite artists are legit. I could care less for who “wins” this to be honest. I’m entertained either way. I just don’t draw conclusions based on one mans word… Especially one as bitter and desperate as Meek obviously is right now. Taking his word right now is like asking your ex to give your eulogy…

  84. yorapper says:

I give Meek a point for rapping about his watch.

  85. MoneyBitchesWeed says:

    Shit was hella light…

  86. The Gifted says:

It would had beat the first one, but back 2 back kills this!

    1. Chronic says:

You’re really confident drake wrote that shit after hearing 3 reference tracks that all had the same flow he used for back to back?

      1. Mylo says:

        It’s not hard…

  87. Black says:

It’s done for Meek. Twitter, instagram and even wikipedia sided with Drake.

Plus, you can’t take talk about being real, when Ross is your boss.

  88. dodo says:

LMAO! this is pure garbage. RIP WEAK MILLS!

  89. Rob Lo says:

I Bet that when Drake drops “Views from the 6 Ghostwriters” EVERYONE IS GONNA CHECK THE CREDITS..So in the long run MEEK WON

    1. Mylo says:

Won what? Crack pipes, loss of fans, a mmg chain.

  90. YOUNG NIGGA says:

HOW THE HOTTEST PART OF THE TRACK IS THE QUENTIN MILLER SAMPLE AND THE QUENTIN MILLER NAME DROP. WHEN QUENTIN MILLER HIMSELF CAME OUT A WEEK AGO AND HAD DRAKES BACK IN THIS BEEF…SO NOW ALL WERE LEFT WITH IS SOME WEAK BAR ABOUT HAVING A PLATINUM BITCH ON A RED CARPET NIGGA WHAT!?!? PULL THE WOOL OVER THEIR EYES BUT NEVER FOOL ME

  91. @SkiYewNiverCity says:

Smh only thing good about this trash is the photoshop lmao weak mill is fuckin done son! Lmao ? ? ?

    1. terrence gaskins says:

      i like meek nigga

  92. YGG says:

Gunplay album just dropped on iTunes but where is the Meek Mill tweet. He a fake man

  93. @SkiYewNiverCity says:

Eazy E didnt even write Real Muthaphuckin G’s maybe the 2nd hardest diss track ever so…

  94. brza says:

    1) “Hit ‘Em Up”
    2) “Ether”
    3)

    1. uʍop ǝpısdn says:

      2nd Round Knockout

  95. brza says:

No quotables? Poor beat selection. Should’ve just recorded himself talking shit about him in between reference tracks lol

  96. Dear Meek says:

Dear Meek how the fuck are you going to start a drake diss track talking about some no name nigga with 50k twitter follwers and no money. obviously not talking about drake. TAKE THIS L MY NIGGA MATTER A FACT TAKE ALL THESE LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL’S

  97. YOUNG NIGGA says:

the first time i heard back to back i was dead. i rewinded that joint 5 times before i made it thru. this one i got to the end and thought is that it. i don’t even care to go back and listen maybe i missed something.

  98. YGG says:

WE ALL GET L’S FOR LISTENING AND ANTICIPATING THIS. MEEK SAID FUCK IT IF IM GETTING A L THEN THE HIP HOP COMMUNITY AND FANS ARE ALL GETTING L’S.

  99. FACTS!!! says:

Drake like Tom Brady. People know he’s a cheater but they still love ’em anyway!

  100. A$$ says:

The GHOST OVO OWL was SLICK but the SONG SUCK!

  101. Doo Doo says:

Quentin Miller aint even backing Meek Mill. Meek you lost. go home to your “platinum bitch” and take this L like a man with some dignity

  102. SapToad says:

Drake first rap battle was with a nigga name Meek.LMAO

  103. 5 NOTHING DRAKE!!! says:

Drake first diss track was okay but he still get 1 point. Second diss track was decent so that’s another point. 2 points for drake. Sending 6 bottles to CTD another point. 3 points drake 0 points Meek. Then Meek get booed in Canada. Another point for Drake. Then Meek drop DIS! Another point for Drake LOL

  104. Just saying!!! says:

When you battling a smart nigga like drake you gotta have a plan. you just can’t rap. that’s not gone work. And Meek don’t have a plan so he can’t win. Jimmy Ivoine is the reason 50 killed Ja Rule! And guess who just gave drake 20 million dollar? Jimmy Ivoine!!! He only gave 50 1 million and you seen what they did to Ja! He just gave drake 20 TIMES THAT!!! Meek better BACK DOWN if he know what I know!

  105. Extra Domus says:

    Best line : “50 cent”

  106. Gouken says:

Back to back is a song I can listen to… Charged up and Wanna know I doubt I’ll listen to again. Drake still winning in my eyes. Meek you started this so we expect you to bury this dude ‘takeover’ style and you haven’t even come close.

    Meek 0-1 Drake

  107. MJeezy says:

I was feeling it at first. But then after the first verse it just kept gerring worse and worse.

  108. The Devastation Inc. says:

    Finally!

  109. MrSkeezyMak says:

This was boring. Lame attempt. RIP Meek. #BlackLivesMatter

  110. Sean Power says:

meek has no friends around him just yes man, coon omely and all the others should have told this track not ready Jahlil Beats and SWIZZ BEATZ should be shame to have there name on this track

  111. yorapper says:

I dont know why we expected a good song from Meek, he’s not a song maker. It’s also ironic this diss has more skits on it than raps.

  112. radio raheem says:

    LMF !

  113. realish says:

I don’t know why meek aint pick up his strategy from ross. All ross did was stick with the raps none tht gimmick pimpin curly shit thats how 50 lost roo much other bs ross jst kept dropping banger after banger after banger n that knocked 50 n his era of music down. But judging by the lyrics in this I doubt meek could pull it off

    1. Mylo says:

Ross had the south and the music industry on his side… 50 dissed his boss, label, to many artist… Honestly this is more like benzino vs EM

  114. JustAsking says:

So someone answer this for me! Who wrote so far gone? Who wrote the rap verses? Not the singing parts, not the harmony parts, the rap verses?!! Who wrote the stay scheming verse? Who actually wrote one of his RAP verses! Not one of the singing harmonizing parts, THE RAPS?!

  115. Peekay says:

Took a week to come with this?! Drake wins by a landslide.

  116. yorapper says:

Wait didn’t Meek use Drake’s verse on RICO as a reference track for his flow?

  117. radio raheem says:

SAVE TIME… DONT EVEN LISTEN.. MEEK SAID ROLLIE ! LMF ! IM OFF THIS INTERNET SHIT !

  118. Mikk Swagger says:

I’m not quite sure half of what Meek said is in English. It could be, but I wasn’t able to understand it. This was not a good look for Meek, he would have been better off not saying anything. Drake herbed him, Meek took an L on this one…

  119. i knew this nigga wouldnt reply without mentioning a rollie LOL

    1. Mylo says:

      Damn you called it…

  120. DialTone says:

BOOOOO Meek…. This Jawnt makes me sleepy….. The Puffy line is the only line i remember… Its just not good and i’m no Big Drake fan but i always thought his Pen game was nice and i could tell h’es study’s the craft of MCing.. All these reference tracks are like choruses… so IDK. I never thought Meek could out Rap Drake..Meek should have came different then what he usually does.

  121. CASH says:

Weak Millie. One of the best albums out right now, but one of the worst diss tracks out right now 🙁 I’m a fan of all three artists though, Meek, Drake and QM.

  122. Notfunny says:

Meek already getting sued by the undertaker
Diss track we waited for for like a month was wack should of broke them down like cam did Jay no quotes in your diss real facts tho but not entertaining wheel chair jimmy rolling on you rite now rip meek it was a nice run

  123. JTheProphet says:

No to say that drake using reference tracks isn’t wrong but a lot of the people on this message board are trying to make it seem as if Quentin Wrote the entire track. Which isn’t the case and we can tell that by the reference tracks themselves. Also to say that it’s not a common practice in hip hop is a lie. Jay-Z can be seen using a Kanye reference for Lucifer on the fade to black dvd. Kendrick is credited with writing All Day for Kanye. Wayne had Drake & before that he had Gillie the Kid. When Nas untitled “nigger” album came out there were intense amount of rumors that Jay Electronica & Dead Prez assisted him in writing that album google it. Snoop,Dre,Puffy,Lil Kim,Memphis Bleek,Foxy Brown, Mase, Nicki, Meek Mill and the list goes on have all confirmed or been accused of using a ghost writer or having assistance creating music. This argument is lame Hip Hop stop being pure along time ago just enjoy the music.

  124. JD says:

Man this shit is trash. Drake responded with some jabs and meek puts this out. I wanted a battle.

  125. Jay says:

I had to hear it with my own ears to believe it when my boy told me Meek mentioned a Rolex in his diss lmao.

I’ve never seen a more predictable stupid nigga than this ever in my life.

People were LITERALLY clowning him for only rapping about Rollie’s all week long and he goes and takes the bait and raps about a fucking Rollie, and not in a witty clever way but in a legit “let me talk about my Rolex” type of way.

He takes the L in the entire beef just for that.

  126. Oj says:

Ima Drake Kendrick and Cole. In that order..
This is gonna slowly destroy drake possibly. I personal think q been writing/vibing with ovo since 0-100. I dissected, that boy (q) been giving quotables for about a year and some change.

  127. SHADY STAN! says:

    GARBAGE…Blown opportunity….

  128. Eric Davis says:

Oh okay so suddenly we are concerned with “authenticity”? His mans is a former CO who in the mindset of meek is and should be considered a fraud.

    1. Mylo says:

His homie is slow bucks enough said.

  129. M.A.T. says:

From the Cassidy beef, I knew Meek wasn’t a good battle rapper, because he has no bars. At the same time, how the hell did he fuck this up? He had so much ammunition that he could have used and said against Drake, but instead he executed this piss poor of a song.

First of all, I think before any songs were released this was a popularity contest and Drake wins that. He has way more fans and makes better music. Whether he writes the shit or not, he knows how to put together a good song. It becomes one of those things where it doesn’t matter if you have the facts anymore and I’m going to tell you why. Rule one of battling is that you got to rock the crowd. Watch Juice vs Supernatural and you will see a good example of an MC getting the crowd involved with their performance and completely turning shit around. Drake came out with two songs. Had he came out with Back to Back first I don’t think he would have got as big as a response as he did by releasing Charged Up (a slow song) before. It was smart, it made back to back seemer bigger than it is, because you’re comparing it to that song. All Meek had to do was make one song that was better than those two and he would have been fine.

I also think his yelling ass flow works against him in this as well. He’s all hyped up and he’s slurring his words making it hard for people to even understand him instead of slowing it down and hitting Drake with BARS.

Oh well, at least Meek’s dumb ass gave the internet an opportunity make these funny ass memes.

  130. This was awful. I really expected him to do something. Cassidy tried to warn us.

  131. Room 222 says:

Some ppl were expecting a “Hit Em Up” but that sonh can’t be duplicated.

Meek doesn’t really have real ammo on Drake to do a real battle song in this current situation. What can he actually say about Aubrey other than he doesn’t write his raps!?!

Meek can’t really go all out gangsta on dude b/c Aubrey has never, to my knowledge, claimed to be a tough guy from the streets of Toronto, Canada.

Really, imo, Meek is in a catch 22, no-win, lose-lose situation.

I dig Ross and some MMG’s music but I think Meek shouldn’t have started this to begin with.

  133. sway-z says:

I just wanna know…when this nigga became spanish? He need to drop the english version, I can’t understand nothing this nigga said…

  134. Manny Israel says:

Just for the record I deleted that last drake album ..kept thinking about Quentin miller listening to it ..but I still fux with son.

  135. VOMIT says:

Meek will never be a top 10 rapper. Neither will a nigga who don’t write his own shit.

“Shoot at you actors like movie directors”

  136. Reggie Bo says:

Ima have to give Drake the W on this one

  137. Expired Milk & The Crying Dude says:

The question I’m wondering is does Drake uses ghostwriter sorry not? It seems like he didn’t directly answer that question.

  138. Dumb says:

If he had dropped that track right after Charged Up came out this would have been a very interesting battle.
This track is actually not bad at all for a diss.
But too little too late considering Drake double hit. Expectations made it impossible for this track to have a real impact

  139. J Whistles says:

This is a horrible response and he had every chance to win. I didn’t like Charged Up, Back to Back was better but still not anything great as far as diss tracks go. Meek’s taking the L for this one unless he can drop something hot and fast. At this point Drake doesn’t even have to do anything else.
As far as the ghostwriting… kids these days don’t know artists have help, they download everything. Go buy a cd and open the credits, youll see writers credited all over the damn album. Its like sharks biting people in the ocean, its not new but somehow its news.

  140. rd1981 says:

Meek went hard on this one eh …..hard lee

  141. radio raheem says:

    Failed

  144. O-Canada says:

Not only is Meek Mill losing this battle but the whole country is also losing.

    Canada 2- USA 0.

  145. Cedric Hall says:

Drake may be winning social media wise, even with the simple and catchy lines…but when you listen to what’s actually being said, Meek is going in on Drake…not the diss track we expected but not garbage by any stretch

  146. 476231 says:

Moment of silence for Meek…[UnderTaker intro]

  147. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

  148. hostage says:

Yo, I had to resort to some old school disses to make me feel good again,… after this .. brr!

  149. dmc says:

All Meek had to do was diss himself on a drake type beat and make the art work a contract saying he sold it to Drake

  150. Ketchup sandwiches says:
