Meek Mill was found guilty in Philadelphia court today for violating his probation. The ruling stems from failing to notify the court of his recent travels. The rapper is due back in court February 5 and is not allowed to work or perform.
Last December, Meek was released from prison after serving 5 months for violating his probation for similar offenses. Says Meek while taking the stand.
“I’m don’t wanna be a criminal. I’m not a gangsta. But I’m not a perfect man … I have the potential to be greater than I am today. I walk around with Queen Nicki. Things are different now. I act different. I walk different. I can be the biggest rapper in the world.”
Nicki Minaj also testified on his behalf.
“He’s not perfect, but I can’t believe how much he’s changed. He doesn’t have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible. Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit. … He’s just getting accustomed to being an adult.”
