Listened to the album last night, I thought it was dope overall, nice beats, cool lyrics, catchy beats. I have no complaints, much better than Full Speed too.
I know Ink catches flack over his music from most, but understand that his general fanbase is appealed to teenagers and bxtches. Only reason he gets any play wit me is cause he got good $#!+ that rides in the 12s, I’m a sucker for good beats that bang in the whip. lol
He’s pretty much accepted that he will never be as revered as his West Coast cohorts (YG, Kendrick, even Tyler).
It’s sad because his unique style on mixtapes was what drew me to him. Next thing I know, I’m hearing this wannabe Drake on the radio with Chris Brown on every hook.
But hey, it’s working for him. And I still keep an ear out for his new stuff.
