Funk legend Leon Haywood passed away in his sleep yesterday in Los Angeles. He was 74. Haywood is best known for his seminal hit “I Want’a Do Something Freaky To You”, which ushered in the G Funk era. His music has been sampled by J.Cole, 50 Cent, Aaliyah, and of course, Dr. Dre. Condolences to his friends and family.
