It amazes me that Nas can make a monumental album like ‘Distant Relatives’ and then associate himself with a no substance artist like this. It just makes no sense at all. It’s like Snoop when he found a bit of substance with that reggae album and then immediately went back to being a cancer to the community in the music he makes. Entertainment and entertainers, seems like they are these things before human beings.
1) No, Distant Relatives was not a monumental album.
2) Snoop Dogg’s dancehall album was a disgrace to reggae music and Bob Marley.
3) Dave East has an authentic distinctive sound, and he brings substance to these trap beats.
