I love the LOX but how many hundreds of songs have these guys made about shooting and killing and gang violence and all that? Not just as a group, but all of their solo work as well has huge themes of needless violence so it seems a bit ironic to then go, “we want peace”…. but as a follower of their music it never seemed like they wanted peace before so why now? It just doesn’t fit the characters they have created for themselves.
