Astro is on top of the world thanks to Travis Scott. This week, the Houston rapper’s third album, AstroWorld elevates to the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Moving 537,000 units in its first week with 270,000 of that total are in traditional sales, AstroWorld now becomes the second largest debut this year and Scott’s second no.1 debut. Congrats.
In related news, props go to Mac Miller for his fifth consecutive top five debut, as his latest effort Swimming floats at no. 3 with 66,000 units (30,000 traditional sales).
Meanwhile, YG earns his third consecutive top 10 debut with his Stay Dangerous album. The project comes in at no. 10 this week with 56,000 units (11,000 traditional sales). Bongrats!
