Erick Sermon’s over three decades in the rap game. Now on to his eight solo album, the one-half of EPMD releases Vernia.

Dubbed after his grandmother, the Green-Eyed Bandit introduces the LP with the sultry “Southern Girl” (Big K.R.I.T. & Ricco Barrino). Elsewhere, the Long Island veteran takes it back north with “Come Thru” (Method Man, Mr. Cheeks and Craig Mack ) and “My Style” (Raekwon & N.O.R.E.).

With Sermon himself on production for a selected few, the 13-track LP features, guests AZ, Styles P, Keith Murray, Nature, Xzibit, David Banner, Shaquille O’Neal, Too $hort, Devin The Dude, No Malice and more. E-Dub’s still got it.
