The saga continues.

Kodak Black will remain behind bars for more than three years. On Wednesday (November 13), a Miami federal judge sentenced the Pompano Beach rapper to 46 months in prison for his weapons charge, a lesser sentence than the 10 year maximum. The rapper’s lawyers initially requested 37 to 44 months, but the prosecution demanded 46 to 57 months.

Back in August, Kodak Black plead guilty to the charge which stems from falsifying information on a background form while purchasing handguns at a Hialeah weapons store. In October, he was involved in a prison fight that left a security guard hospitalized.

In addition, Kodak has two non-related cases pending including a drug and weapons charge from an arrest by the U.S. Border Patrol in April, as well as an alleged sexual assault in South Carolina from 2016.
