MC Hammer brings his iconic hit, “U Can’t Touch This” to Cheetos’ new Super Bowl commercial.
In :30 ad, the 56 year-old rapper emerges with his hit at unusual places while a man snacks on the cheesy treats. Hammer pops up from behind a cubicle, and out of a rug and a water hose. Elsewhere, he’s the face of a baby and he even jumps out of a picnic basket to do his signature dance.
The commercial is just one of many, including Missy and H.E.R.’s Pepsi ad, that will air during Super Bowl LIV on Sunday (February 2).
In a discussion with HipHop-N-More, Hammer talks about his longevity, the success of the 1990 multi-platinum song, it’s 30th anniversary, and how the commercial came into fruition.
