This year’s annual Billboard Music Awards took place on Wednesday evening (Oct. 15) honoring music’s top artists of 2020. Hosted by Kelly Clarkson, the event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Post Malone racked up on the most wins this year with a total of nine including Top Artist and Top Rap Artist. Khalid and Summer Walker won respectively in the R&B categories, while Lizzo won Top Song Sales Artist, and Cardi B crowned Best Rap Female Artist.

Killer Mike was honored the inaugural Change Maker Award for his work as a musician and social-justice contributions. Alongside his wife, the Run The Jewels rapper accepted his award by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms from the APEX Museum of African-American history in Mike’s hometown.

Some of the night’s epic performances including Alicia Keys “Love You Better” and Brandy’s medley of classics with a debut performance of “No Tomorrow Pt.2” with guests Ty Dolla $ign.

John Legend performed a heartfelt performance of “Never Break“, which he dedicated to wife Chrissy Teigen, following their pregnancy loss weeks prior. Doja Cat brought the glam with a medley of her hits including “Juicy“, “Say So“, “Like That“.

As one of the breakout artist performances, SAINt JHN rocked the stage with his hit single “Roses“, while En Vogue reunited and took it back to the ‘90s for a performance of their 1992 classic “Free Your Mind“. And the rest will follow.
