Chicago rapper King Von has died following a deadly shootout in Atlanta. He was 26.
On Friday morning (Nov 6), King Von was among the three casualties in fatal shooting that happened outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge on Trinity Avenue.
According to reports, three off-duty police officers working security intervened an ongoing shootout between two groups that allegedly stemmed from a physical altercation between members of King Von and Atlanta rapper Quando Rondo’s entourages. The rapper’s producer and DJ ChopSquad confirmed King Von was among the three that were killed.
Born Dayvon Daquan Bennett, King Von was an artist on fellow Chicago rapper Lil Durk’s Only the Family label and Empire Distribution. Last week (Oct 30), he released his latest album, Welcome To O’Block.
