Verzuz opens up their second season with a bang. On Thursday (Nov. 19), long-time rivals Gucci Mane and Jeezy faced off for their much-anticipated and unexpected soundclash.

Live from Atlanta’s Magic City gentlemen’s club, the event was opened with a surprise virtual appearance by Georgia politician Stacey Abrams, who pitched the importance of their state’s upcoming election for two Senate seats.

From there, the Trap God and the Snowman got in their bag and ran through their extensive music catalog including their radio hits, legendary trap anthems, and their star-studded collaborations. Before capping off the event, Guwop and Snow, who’s tense and violent beef dates back to 2005, finally buried the hatchet following a heart-to-heart conversation and performed their classic collaboration “So Icy” together.

Following the epic showdown, the two took to Atlanta’s Compound nightclub for the after-party and TIDAL shared the evening’s playlist.
